Currently i use a full laser loadout on gimbals to make up for the slower turn rate of some of the metas, take down the shields, hit the emp, and I finish them off as they can’t recharge
I would definitely use laser repeaters on the hawk if there were not so many bloody f8s flying around! Every other fight is a full distortion f8. Need them off indefinitely :P I also recommend using size 2 fixed repeaters as the damage output is quiet massive compared to the size 1's.
@@spatialmonkeys i was using s2 for a while, but according to dps calculator, it is only a 256pt difference of burst. The lasers do cut through shields quicker than the distortions, and apply more damage. I definitely do love running a full distortion loadout on the hawk though, tons of fun to watch the ships fall! Overall, great video 😎
