- One of the most common questions I am asked is, "What should I feed my working dog?" In today's video I will reveal the different foods I am using for both my puppy and adult working dogs. (Belgian Malinois) I did not receive any payment or free product from any of the food companies in this review. I love how honest and transparent you are. I feed Canidae chicken and rice only because my lab had allergies with a sensitive stomach and I just never switched food for the corgi. Im intrigued by this option though. The fact that you can add stuff is amazing. Well done Kay❤

What kind of allergies do U have?
I need help knowing what to choose I’ve already tried they’re salmon recipe and my German Shepard female is still itching severely. She sits down and itches with her hind leg shaking entire house-- she’s on flea meds- what kibble from Muenster do I try next she’s still itching??
I have an extremely picky eater with a sensitive stomach. He basically hates everything. I found out by trial and error (lots of error) that he does not do well with chicken, and it is in everything, even beef formulas! With the advice of my vet I gave up feeding grain free formulas after she discussed the association with canine myocardial disease and switched to a brand for sensitive stomachs and single protein ingredient. I still have to doctor it up to get him to eat it, but that’s ok. I add half a can of sardines, half a cup of water, a probiotic once a day, and Cosequine twice daily, plus a scoop of multivitamin and enzymes

I tried this food for my VERY picky male border Collie after watching this video. Wow! He loves this food and I love that it can be customized so I can switch things up for my boy. I feed based on the bag feeding recommendations for age and weight. (which will vary from brand to brand) I offer raw food as a supplement during training or sometimes just as a topper to their food to "spoil them" :)

They adjusted wonderfully. The company suggests fasting for a day or two before switching to this food. I fasted mine for a day and that seemed to do the trick! No upset tummy! No diarrhea!

Hi Maligator Mom. I feed my dog raw and he is healthy. Problem is that I make it myself and it’s time consuming. I have been looking for other ways to save time but want my dog healthy to. His poop is firm, non smelly and easy to clean up. How does that compare with Muenster? Is it firm and east to clean up?
Have you ever experimented with raw food? For a decade now I have been feeding Blue Ridge Beef brand raw puppy formula to my Malinois,both adults and now my puppy. It is made at a Department of Agriculture inspected facility beside meats for human consumption. This particular formula contains ground beef, ground chicken, ground organ meat, ground green tripe and powdered bone. I started using it because my male at the time had a finicky stomach when he came from the Czech Republic. I tried all kinds of kibble without success. On this raw formula, he never had a problem. It’s cheaper than what you are feeding at $64 for 30#. It’s natural food that is what predators would consume in the wild. It’s made in Tennessee with distributors all over the east coast.
I just ordered this food for my Malinois/Catahoula puppy that I rescued two weeks ago. I also ordered the beef liver treats.
I am eager to have her try it.

I have a 1yr old male belgium malinois and he's 56lbs . So my question is wat can I do to fatten him up ? Rite now he's eating 2 160z ounce cups of blue buffalo and 2 cups of freeze dried patties

Have you considered Honest Kitchen? It’s dehydrated human-grade dog food. More variety and can adjust the type of protein for your dog’s digestive system. My Mal also had a sensitive stomach so I had to rotate chicken and turkey to provide sufficient variety.
I have to agree that Mal’s have a bad reputation, but I have to admit they are not ideal for first time dog owners and they do need exercise (like GSDs) or they can be destructive. Since both my wife and I work, we bought a horse kennel for the dog so he has room to move around while we are at work.

Definitely ordering this. A bit confused though, I see a lot of people in the US feeding their dogs breakfast. We’ve always done 1 meal a day at dinner time (either raw protein/bones or cooked with things like celery, carrot, sweet potato) and kibble always available but our dogs almost never ate the kibble lol. What’s the standard, do dogs need more frequent meals?

Sounds like you’ve got your hands full! lol I always recommend working with a professional trainer. I wouldn’t be able to have 3 Malinois if it weren’t for the fact that I work with a pro. ❤️
i think the freeze dried elk is the loose coating... i dont really see what else it could be.

I personally follow the advice of my veterinarian and don't feed the popular "grain free" fad we've seen in recent years. New data has proven this to cause heart problems over time and unless your dog is allergic to grain, there is no reason to exclude it from their diet.

I’m going to try this food to see how my pups like it. I have a Dutch male and a female Malinois/American Bulldog mix who is very picky. They’ve been on victor but she just doesn’t seem to care to eat it much so I’m hoping this helps her intake.
Just FYI, the ancient grains is just a sales tactic, if you look up the research behind it and the actual metabolic breakdown, ancient grains has no benefit to the dog!

In the video I talk about the Titan raw I feed them as well. Link is in the description of this video ❤️ I don’t feed raw because I don’t have the time to prepare a proper raw diet for 3 dogs. A lot of work goes into feeding raw if you’re doing it right.

Do you know and understand what I takes to harvest a wild elk?!?!?! 30 bucks and its a coating? Jump for joy! I hunt for Elk and know the effort it takes to tag one at 400 yards and then haul it out!!!!! My Malinois at seven months eats Origen, my two rescues eat Acana. My dogs live the life of lives when it comes to activities and food! 🙂🙂🥰🙂This to me is a good buy and I am HIGHLY considering switching to Munster for the betterment of my doggoes! 👍

know this is an older vid but the crmbliness you vocalised about the kibble is more then likely you $30 elk....someone else i know has the dried salmon added to their bags and its a coating as well and make the kibble look crumbly....so you can see the elk thats added just not in chunks like you said
What formula did you choose on the custom dog food I’m confused by it ?
I feed ancient grains ocean fish and then I add on probiotic, salmon oil, bacon fat, and freeze dried elk from time to time. 👍🏼

So research was done on ancient grains and there isn’t any real data that shows it’s good for them. Look up the research done on it. I’m not saying the dog food isn’t good, but ancient grains itself has no added benefits. Scientifically and metabolically speaking.

Would not recommend Purina, I feed my Malinois Fromm family puppy food.
Purina pro plan isn’t bad. I would just never feed it.
Sorry you lost me at $100 for 30lbs! Not to say I don’t believe our 4 legged family members aren’t worth it but I think at that price feeding RAW may be cheaper! I wish I was rich and could afford $100 for 30lbs 😢

Awesome kibble is still kibble. Dehydrated overheated "food'. Requires the dog to drink massive amounts of water which overworks their kidneys. As puppies they do ok, as adults it start to take its toll. Dogs should eat raw muscle meat, organ meat, bone, raw vegetables, tripe, fruits and berries. I feed for less per pound than you pay for that overheated "food'. This morning my Mal ate raw pork belly, raw pork loin, kale, cranberries, lima beans, bone meal, peas and oatmeal. Price per pound of the aggregate under $2.00. Yes you need a grinder for the veg, but the meat I just slice into cubes and freeze. And I do buy the green tripe in frozen chubs.

my pup is a 16 month old GSD/Mal at 70lbs. He's very very lean and no matter how much food he eats he just burns it off. He's constantly 'on'. I thought working line GSDs were energetic but wow..
I’ve always struggled to put weight on Riot as well. Feeding him puppy food has helped him gain weight but this food is maintaining it nicely!
I thought that was what it would cost as you said it exactly. I think it's sensible. It does make sense too finely ground the elk and or beef. I do feel that you still should want too know how much protein put in the kibble or just the process in itself of how it's made. It's a coincidence that we are fund of the same type of pets. Your Kitty is such Goals as well. One of my three favorite color is Grey. Thanks for sharing
