Does this make sense?
i.e that listen & comprehending is the only part of any language you need to learn.
Once you hear words they resonate in your head. And we won't things like a hug or ice cream so inevitably we'd strive to make desires real which requires communication. So you don't need to focus on speaking at all. It'll be by product of listening well. Once you know all the words, just need know the way the connection goes between spoken with written
i.e eg - Oww..'Helfe'(as spoken) looks like Helfe when written. That lond of thing.
So in conclusion listening primary focus
Bitte let me know makes sense because i need your Helfe or ich waste lot of mein time
