    So just a quick addition to this video. My battery lasted over 2 years however i didn't replace it because it died. I replaced it because it was causing my bike the throw a CKP error. Kind of funny since it doesn't have a ckp sensor however it caused my bike to die randomly and it wouldn't idle. So I do recommend replacing the battery whenever you get some spare income

    I am sure you know, but...the 'BENELLI' Q.J. Srl facility is just up the Autostrada from me here in Italy, in Pesaro, on the Adriatic Coast. Whilst QJ owns the 'BENELLI' brand the bikes are styled and design engineered here - with pride !

    • @KrakensGarageandAdventures
      @KrakensGarageandAdventures  Год назад +1

      Yes, I'm aware of Q.J. and mentioned them in one of my videos. They make a solid bike at a great price in my opinion. The real problem is the Benelli distributer in North America. The lack of support to the customer and dealers is staggering. They need to yank the franchise away from them and open up legit Benelli dealers. Thanks for commenting.

    • @clivecartey
      @clivecartey Год назад

      @@KrakensGarageandAdventures ......actually "thank you" for the videos. As regards North America, maybe Benelli riders over 'the pond' need to get together and write a group email to Benelli QJ in Persaro, Italy. They would be far more receptive than trying to get through to the right people at Q.J.. We are very lucky here in Italy since our Benelli bikes are QC'd by Benelli in Pesaro before going to Dealers. Having just checked out a new TNT 125 at my local Benelli dealer I am most definitely saving my pennies up ! Again, thank you for all your hard work bringing great TNT information to all of us 'out here'

  • @DynaDivine1
    @DynaDivine1 3 года назад +24

    I really think the Benelli would be a grom killer if there was more manufacture support and more after market options. They are well on their way though thats for sure.

    • @KrakensGarageandAdventures
      @KrakensGarageandAdventures  3 года назад +7

      Thank you for watching my content. Steadygarage.com is a solid source for aftermarket when they have it in stick. They seem to be out of stock quite a bit. It takes folks like you and I to give Benelli a solid chance in North America. Getting solid info out there will help! Send that pic to me of your Jeep with the sticker and I'll share in on the next viewer's appreciation video. 🏍💨🦑

    • @DynaDivine1
      @DynaDivine1 3 года назад +2

      @@KrakensGarageandAdventures Yeah stock seems to be the common issue but I am assuming thats still due to Covid shipping delays/product manufacturing delays. I will be getting a picture sent out today I took the dslr out while it was clean the other day so hopefully they turned out good.

    Thanks again for these great videos on the Benelli TNT. I watched this one again a week ago when considering buying one I saw on FB Marketplace for sale near me. Unfortunately, the mint condition photos, VERY low miles and lower than trade-in price raised a lot of red flags in my head and I passed. On a different note, what do you know about the Sym Wolf CR300i? Got a local rental outfit selling out their fleet and I'm hoping to snag a 2019 for cheap. Few reviews and those are positive. Thanks and I hope you have a Merry Christmas.

      AKS13V, sorry for a late reply. This mini moto will have one of the smallest footprints in your garage. It's light weight enough to pick up the rear and set it very close to the wall or tuck out of way. I doubt I'll shoot a video just on that topic but it really is quite small. For 2 up riding, down street sure, anything more I wouldn't recommend it. At 125 to 135 cc it just isn't going to have the power or suspension to sustain anything long distance. I hope you get your TnT soon! Eric

    Hi Eric, Mate as always am loving your video's you are my goto chanel for anything to do with my TNT 135 ( which I love as a neat little bike ) couple of questions please ( sorry ) 1. Am looking to change the rear sprockett to a 32tooth, have changed the front to a 17 tooth, I know I can get one from Steady Garage but do you know if these are available any where alse as steady want double the price of the sprocket to ship to NZ. 2. I have changed the stock exhaust, just wanted to confirm about grounding out the ecu before I do this, all I need to do is unhook both + and - from the battery then ground the positive to the negative? will this reset the speedo as well so would I need to recalibrate the speedo again? thanks mate, keep up the great work and sorry for the questions. Dave

    • @KrakensGarageandAdventures
      @KrakensGarageandAdventures  3 года назад

      Dave, don'r be sorry for asking questions. If we all help each other out, we all get to enjoy the sport more. There's a seller on ali express (they work like Amazon where you have many retailers selling through Ali Express) This is the guy I order my parts from and you can ask him on FB. facebook.com/groups/4437894646241688/user/100009500541984 Steady Garage has the right stuff but they want all the $ for it.
      For grounding out and resetting your ECU, removed + and - battery terminals. Touch the + terminal to something metal on the bike. This will trigger the reset. Hook them back up and go for a ride. It will take 5 to 10 miles as it learns your new setup, i.e. pipe, air box or whatever changes you made. No, it will not reset your speedometer programing.
      I hope this helps.
      Eric

    Have you had any issues with your headlights!? None of my LED headlights will illuminate. The Daytime running lights work just fine. But my High beams and lower headlight will not turn on. It shoes indication on the Tac that they are on. But no illumination. Any ideas? There is nothing online about this.

      To answer your question, no this hasn't happened to me. The first thing I would check is your fuses. 2nd disassemble the front headlight area, disconnect and re-plug in your headlight harness to see if it's seated properly. Good luck.

    Hi, you did a video on tnt 135 valve adjustment. There was a question as ro why there is 2 timing marks near tdc, T1 and T2. I thinks these are for spark timing?

    • @KrakensGarageandAdventures
      @KrakensGarageandAdventures  2 года назад

      Kevin, sorry for the late reply. Yes, that is exactly what they are for adjusting the intake and exhaust valves. I shot a video on adjusting the the valves here. Eric ruclips.net/video/Vz0aym1WBtQ/видео.html

      @@KrakensGarageandAdventures the lobes on a cam are not radical enough that a few degrees of rotation will make a difference. Try rotating the engine a few degrees after valve adjustment and see how far a rotation is needed to reduce the valve clearance. The marks are too close together to make a difference on the valves. There must be another reason for the t2 mark. It might make sense in terms of flame propogation in a 2 plug engine to stagger the sparks slightly.
      Thank you for your tenacious attention to detail.

    How do you reset your ECU and how to adjust your suspension

    • @KrakensGarageandAdventures
      @KrakensGarageandAdventures  3 года назад

      Kevin, the front suspension is non-adjustable. The rear you just need a "spanner wrench" that fits your shock. To reset the ECU, disconnect both battery terminals, ground the positive (red) to something metal on the bike. Wait 10 seconds and reconnect. It will take like 5 miles riding for the ECU to learn the correct fuel mapping. Good luck.

    • @KrakensGarageandAdventures

      AJ, if only the pipe and not an air intake or tail pipe, your good. Disconnect both battery terminals. Touch and hold the positive battery terminal to bare me YT al on the bike for like 10 seconds. Reconnect the terminals and ride for 20 miles, while it learns the new fuel mapping. Good luck!
