I just have so many supplies: sewing and felt, glue and adhesives, paint and canvases, and clay. just to name a few. 😅 but yes, I struggle organizing it because I have a small space to work with, and I can't just buy a bunch of storage bins, as it will take up too much space. so yeah, it's harder to organize. 😕🤣 But I think a few big bins will be okay... So I was wondering where you bought those big pink storage bins? 🤔😅
LPS Kawaii Kitty I know it’s not fair to do to anyone hurting for craft storage space, but if you’d like to drool over a cool craft storage closet, check out this youtube video “DIY Craftroom Organization: EZStudRack”. I SO know, from your comment, that this is probably out of the realm of “possible”, but it IS fun to dream at times. But, coming back to reality, that fella DOES have a truly brilliant premise when it comes to storage of ANY kind, and that is “ONE ITEM DEEP O-N-L-Y”. That may seem hard to achieve, but I’m starting to formulate an idea wherein I utilize VHS & DVD CASES for my paper craft tools & supplies. AND, maybe even find a used “media cabinet” that once housed those cases. In truth, except for my Big Shot, my D’n’Cut, a laminator, and a small 12” x 12” paper stash, pretty much nothing I use in that hobby COULDN’T be stored in those cases. Even ink pads would readily fit on those shelves. (Let me know if you can find a hole in my plan, please). P.S. Sounds like most of her new storage containers came from Target.

For my grandaughters games n puzzles i bought these white mesh zipped bags in like about 5 different sizes( the zippers were colored) from amazon. Anyway the largest 1 is quite big. Big enough that it fit the largest folded game board. So i put the game board in - then used some of the very small bags to hold the cards n playing pieces. Then i put the smaller zipped bag into the larger with the game board n the instructions. Then i cut the cover (n some times the back if the instructions were there) into the bag - in the front so i knew which game i had.. I had to buy 2 packs of the mesh zipped bags (think they were $15) to do all her games n puzzles. Each pack came with about 20 bags. Some of the smallest bags i used just to put her card games in though. In the cupboard i stood them all up so that u can just pull out which one that u want. I hope u can understand what i mean. Its the same as using ziplock bags- but environmental friendly. It made the game area so much neater n so much less messy. If i can add a pic i will. Total game changer
I organized the games into the bags so they would take up less room. When they were all in tne boxes a bunch had started to break down (shes 10) n they were taped shut . plus witg all the packaging they took up so much more room. I fit the games n puzzles that had been on 3 shelves on basically 1. N it looks so much better

Tupperware is a brand, plastic bins are not necessarily made by Tupperware. If you got them at Target, there is generally a sticker with the brand under the plastic box. You are trying too hard to micromanage . Put all collage things in one bin, If items come in packaging that is working like the chalk, leave it there. You can't see the forest for the trees. Have the big bins contain kids' craft supplies and one for Mom's craft supplies. You have a sewing machine but where do you keep the notions?. I'm a card maker so I take a cue from Jennifer Warner to put craft papers in a plastic envelope, one for writing papers, one for colored papers, one for painting papers, etc. again with a label or a photo picture for non-readers. You have too much play-doh materials. throw out the old hardened clay and include a recipe to make your own play-doh on the box lid.
I micro organize too. The clutterbug person does a whole series on tbe different ways people organize. Im.glad that thw way YOU organize n think. But its a little presumptive to asdume thats the way everyones mind works. Try to be encouraging n build people up. Not make a list if what you KNOW they are doing wrong. I think she did a great job
