So it's not just me who hates riding around in virtual worlds. I much prefer Trainer Road and whatever else I can find on my Apple TV to keep me entertained.
because it would require special drivetrain changes to the zwift cog and the hub and belt driven riders are less common. The trainers are built with the most common users in mind.
I have the Stages SB20 for the same reason: it's always available and my (very short) wife can use it. I also agree with Cam's wife: I don't know why people like riding through virtual villages. Trainer Road blue bars and RUclips for me.
Hah, this made me laugh. Zwift ride seems like a cool concept, but you'll never beat riding your own bike and using your own gears. Worth the 5 min to take the bike on/off IMHO. Plus this should have a belt drive to make it silent and adjustable cranks. Then I might change my mine.
haha, you can still keep them in nice condition and 'ride' them. I know plenty of way better riders than me that ride big KMs and keep their bikes immaculate.
If a bike is been pampered like an egg, then why would folks spend the thousand to buy them , i thought the bike was an exercise tool and not a trophy , well maybe that's me been a dick and scratching my head
How were the crank lengths for your wife? It's such a misstep that Zwift didn't put adjustable cranks on there or a way to swap cranks.
Smiles on my face, great video and story, Cam!

Don’t understand why the Zwift Bike has a chain and not a toothed rubber belt, should at least be an option with the Zwift Hub
Interesting point, hadn't even thought of that.

I think it’s because the rubber would stretch under high stress/power causing inaccurate power readings.
To give it a more real bike feel rather than a piece of gym equipment.
@ Do you realise Harley Davison motorcycles use a toothed belt, human power is minuscule. 😂😂
I thoroughly enjoyed this one Cam, Thanks for the video.
I don’t know if I can watch this. It’s hitting to close to home! 😂
Old Mate has the right idea! 😂😂
You are way too hard on yourself Cam!
Put a smile on my face on Friday morning. 😂
Cam, will you be getting a new BMC from the sponsors?
Just watched this , very funny 😁, made my day

For me it's the virtual events, training events and races. Not so much the "worlds"
We love Tom ❤
So Cam, how long did it take to set the zwift bike up?
Love my Zwift ride but I wouldn't let my wife on it LOL!
The only thing you need now is... Another zwift bike! 😄
Just like you Cam I lost my shit. (It makes a serious grinding noise). Sorry, respect and all, funny as mate.
My wife moved my bike and it fell over onto the trainer. The cassette left several chips on the top tube.

poor bmc
You need 2 Zwift bikes….
"there is nothing i can think of worse than riding through one of those zwift villages" .....i'm on your wife's side.....sorry zwift
Sounds like his wife might like rouvy. Give her a free month with COLIN1M code...
Cool story Cam ;)
alice is such a snack
Zwift bike is a no until it works with other apps.
So your wife is an angry nob who puts a good bike onto the ground, drive side down, because you annoyed her. Yeah, my wife is like that too...
Bikes are meant to be ridden not dusted!
