  • Welcome to Amritsar in Punjab, India. This is a city known for its volunteer kitchens that serve up delicious food every day for free. The biggest one is the Golden Temple which serves over 100,000 people daily, but you can literally just walk down the streets and you will find smaller kitchens cooking up food and handing them out. Of course, all of these are run on donations.

You are lucky enough to happen upon a local festival, and the people there are very kind!
That creamy curry rice looks delicious, I really want to have a bowl of it too!
It's sad to know the sad history of the past, and I hope the past won't happen again!
Thank you very much for sharing, take good care, and have a happy travel! 👍🥰🙏

if you like quiet places then North East India is nice for you. it is one of the real jewels of India undiscovered paradise among foreigners. people there look East Asian, full of tribes and great nature. although the culture has been changed due to lots of people converted by Missionaries from UK and USA. still it is great place to visit. you will be surprised how clean n green it is and how simple the people are.

India seems too chaotic, busy and noisy for me. I hope you'll also find other aspects of India later on your trip. I look forward to getting to know the country from a different perspective. For now stay save and healthy. Btw great murals in the Lodhi Colony Art District in New Delhi!

The CCP should first electrify all of China as when seen from space India is fully electrified but large parts of China are still plunged in darkness. They should also build roads across China especially rural China as remote parts of China have no roads or infrastructure and are cut off from the rest of China. In India even the remotest parts have roads and are connected to the rest of India with voting booths and Electronic Voting Machines.
