- Today I'm checking out the famous Tenement basketball court in Taguig, Manila. I was kinda warned about this place as being a more rough area and it might not be safe to visit alone. I had to find out about this place and see it for myself. This court is famous for being one of the most iconic courts in all of the Philipines. The people from the start were super nice and welcoming. I got to meet some of the locals living there, try some of their delicious foods, and join in on some of the basketball on the famous Tenement court. It was a great day!

What did you think of the Tenement Court? Pretty incredible place, I hope the residents and everyone living there can continue to live safely. I wonder when the next mural will be painted...
hola mr nick key
the floor art had been changed numerous times. Y'all can check it out in google. So many NBA stars played and visited that court.
There's another one called "House of Kobe" you may check it out
You have beautiful hands, your palms are actually very big!
That building is so special, it literally packs the entire community into it!
That basketball court looks so beautiful from top.
Thank you very much for sharing, great job! 👍🥰🙏
pretty cool place isn't it! I want to go back during the evening and catch some of the games, i bet it's pretty intense!
@@NickKTravel Yes, it would be even cooler if they let you participate! 👍🤩👌
I'm gonna have to check this place out, If I ever travel to the Philippines
Thank you for this inspiring video. This place is even better than the Taj Mahal !!. The basketball court looks cool and I also appreciate the idea behind it. I am happy to see that the residents keep their living environment clean and that they love their place of living. It can be seen from the video that the place inspires you. You'd have to look for more of these places anyway to make the distinction. Peace!
It's amazing how clean and beautiful they keep this place. Even with the foundation and building crumbling around them they keep it clean and green! I'll def look for more places like this to visit!
Thank you for featuring the tenement basketball court, and I'm glad that you came here in the philippines, Goodluck, to your journey, and God bless you
thanks! happy to be here!
@@NickKTravel when are you coming back at tenement? Is there a chance of you coming back at tenement?

If you ever go to Toledo, Cebu, there is another American by the name of Dustin Backpacks, excellent basketball player and overall a very nice guy. Safe trip always.

Dude, I'm not sure how you got there to Taguig, but there's a quick passageway from BGC called "butas"(the hole) where most BGC blue collar workers would sneak in and out and buy cheap street food.
Interesting I’ll have to look that up. So I just took a Grab
Ahh ok, I looked it up. That’s the way I went from my hotel to go to BGC. Found it by accident
❤
👍
Jakarta present.
Philippines was hit by 7.9 magnitude in 1990 .Baguio city was the one badly devastated
21:08 So you didn't manage to buy the Tenement Shirt, Nick? Where did that guy go?
mannn i didn't find him when we were heading back down. we looked on two different floors for the guy.. no luck. that shirt would have been a nice one to have
@NickKTravel Should've bought first, then went to the rooftop. That was a one-time opportunity😄 especially to a person who doesn't speak English well, maybe he didn't quite hear that you told him to wait.
i use to work as a cable guy in makati to taguig, taguig is sitting on a gigantic mountain of solid rock! it's a big pain in the butt putting grounding in taguig. politicians have construction companies and they want people out.
Good Philipina
I recommend you go to Thailand after the Philippines
Thailand, the great land of lady boys and lady boy lovers, is waiting for you.😂
12:55 Siomay is originally from indonesia, every food is from indonesia, don't claim it 🤌🗿: said someone from nowhere
