I like the little burner the most.

    Nice work!
U should try using a small air inlet in hose, the flame would burn smoother.
Now if you injected oxygen instead of ambient air, the flame would probably melt a frying pan!!!

Cool stove , I think I have a few of those shot glasses kicking around somewhere .
Does the first stove go through a lot of gas ?

Yes it dose, because it's not an optimal design. It is hard to tweak though, because you can't see what the gas and air are doing. Trial and error gets tiresome. Thanks for the comment!

One thing I have been curious about while watching these videos is what the roarer plate is being fabricated from. I assume it is stainless steel?...or not...but the shape seems to have been pressed in a die of some kind..Is it the end from a doorknob blank?

Stainless steel. A hydraulic press and heavy steel ring were used to put the dish in it.

what would you think of using the burner from a colman stove to make a backpacking or camp stove that uses the same fuel as a msr windburner cause i have one that is missing parts and thinking of making a wisperlte or some thing

You would probably need to make a new orifice, or gas jet. Because it seems white gas stoves use a much larger orifice than butane or propane stoves. I have tried to make a "universal" stove that can burn both liquid and gas fuels, but neither work well in the other's jet size.
