    This is making a lot of sense. Still, I'm a bit confused as to where the shift occurs in the two string exercise. It doesn't seem like your sliding into the next position. Are you just shifting to the top of the two string sequence that was demonstrated in the practice section..?

      The last part was just taking one pair of strings and running the scale on those two strings only, as opposed to running between 2 patterns on every pair of strings - just a variation of connecting.
