    I love your videos and they are very informative. I have a Spanish vocabulary of about 20 words. I just spent 3 weeks traveling all over Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, El Escorial, Segovia, San Sebastián, Bilbao, Pamplona, Sevilla, Cádiz, Malaga, Granada, Valladolid). Between those 20 words, my google translator and English I had no problem checking into hotels, ordering at restaurants, taxi and train rides, renting cars, and buying stuff. If you use just a few Spanish words (Hola, Buenos, Gracias, muy buena, etc) people were very nice and accommodating. You don’t need to speak fluent Spanish to enjoy a trip to Spain.

      I’m very glad it’s helpful! You mean as in going to the bank to open an account and all of that?

    • @vasyllaw

      @@patryruiz. Yes, Patry, exactly. This is a royal pain to deal with Spanish banks as you may know. Open an account, ask for a credit, mortgage, money transfers, buying a property, refusing unnecessary products, asking for a fee waiver. Thank you again for your excellent material!

    Gracias, Patry. Your videos are the best! My wife and I are visiting Barcelona and Madrid in October 2024 and are watching your excellent videos to brush up on our Spanish. While we do speak some Spanish (we're from Texas), it's still a little intimidating to try to use it in Spain. Your videos are especially helpful in communicating with servers in restaurants and bars, hotel staff, museums, etc. We want to speak Spanish exclusively, if possible, and rely on English as a backup as needed.

    This was fantastic; to have everything collected in one video! For me, I pretty much know the words (?) but I get insecure about those little words. A, por, de... Like: Algo _que_ ver [not algo _a / para_ ver], _por_ la zona [not _en_ la zona], cambiar _de_ habitación... Also, 'Quiero hablar con el gerente', veeery useful.. 😄With customer services (on the phone, banks and such), when sth is _impossible_ - until you ask to speak to the manager! Also: ¡Me encanta -mucho- tus videos! 😘

    Hi I love this video and it’s very helpful but I would love if you slow down when speaking the Spanish words to help us better grasp the articulation of them and if they were captioned and we see the spelling it would help tremendously also.
    Thanks so much for your content ❤🙏🏾

    Sometimes you use puede(s) and sometimes podria(s). I think it’s “can you” vs “could you”, but used the same. Is there any difference at all? Is podria more polite?

    • @patryruiz.
      @patryruiz.  9 месяцев назад +1

      Podría is the conditional “you could/could you” so yes, it’s just more polite 😅👍🏻
