Al ingresar al exclusivo restaurante, Dame Collins quedó extremadamente decepcionada de que las decoraciones navideñas fueran de color púrpura, lo que provocó un shock traumático con su atuendo y decoraciones. Luego, Dame Collins pidió que encendieran el aire acondicionado porque se quejó de que el restaurante hacía demasiado calor y la hacía sentir un poco tensa e incómoda. Al salir del restaurante, el gerente tuvo la amabilidad de obsequiar a Dame Collins con un gran ramo de flores de otoño, una carísima botella de champán y un farol en forma de patito para sujetar las velas en las pantallas de las lámparas. Antes de comer, Dame Collins pidió silencio en el restaurante para que todos pudieran inclinar la cabeza y el corazón en oración para agradecer a Dios por la comida que consumirían. Luego de finalizar las oraciones de agradecimiento, los invitados comenzaron a comer educadamente.

Me gusta guacamole tambien, Paulina. Oye, necessito acordarme decir 'otra cerveza' y no 'una otra'. (En ingles se puede decir: 'an other beer', en frances 'un autre demi').
En el castellano de Espana los banos son los servicios. (Disculpame por las tildes que faltan. Spaniards are less North Americanized when they speak than you Mexicans; but this is changing by the minute over there unfortunately).

In the UK when asking for the bill (not always) we say “what’s the damage” is there a Spanish equivalent. Thank you

I can't think of a Spanish equivalent.
This is not an exactly phrase for that context but in Mexico when we watch an expensive price sometimes we say "¿Esa madre vuela o qué?" (That thing flies or what?)

It's like US English and UK English 🇺🇸🇬🇧 it's different but understandable for native speakers of both countries (UK is a group of countries) although in some cases there could be confusion.

@@Vicente_ropz27 I think it's more like French from France vs French from Québec. They understand each other but many words and expressions are completely different and using the wrong one in the wrong place will make you sound extremely awkward, and in some cases they won't even understand you. I can't really think of anything that compares in English apart from a couple of words.

Yes, I think so as well. In my mother tongue, we tend to use plural too

Se usa baños en Colombia💛 y en España también.. y la propina normalmente puedes usar “con servicio por fa” .. al menos en colombia es la cuenta más 10%
