Great to see these dudes grow just as your channel has grown the last 18 months. You both put extra effort into filling, editing, and equipment and also have a sense of humor which is why y’all are great.
My pops and I put a lot of unnecessary rounds through an AR7 in the 80's. I don't know why he had it. I don't know if he still has it. I don't know why we shot it, considering the 100+ guns he had, but we did, a lot. It murdered a lot of paper, steal, and small game. If it still lives, I would welcome it to my arsenal.
Fun story; after loosing a raft and all but my bail-out gear (a medium Watershed bag and my dry-gear/vest) on a float trip years ago, I used my AR7 to feed my best friend and I for a night and a day until we could hike down and find out boat (luckily) floating in an eddy about 3 miles downriver. It may not be an amazing rifle but in a pinch a better then a sharp stick even if only slightly.
Was it chewy?? Did you melt it down alittle first, with a campfire?? What part did you and your friend eat first? Probably the stock right? That's the part with the most meat on it.....lmao
the review we need but not the review we asked for, and that's why will take it. because we can take it. because honestly their is nothing better on so we are here. awesome video as always!
@@geebeaux first i ever watched, yet never watch him again. Always thought he was off but didn’t even know this content existed back then. Nutnfancy lol he still posts /i believe
I got one of these from my in laws last Christmas. No lie this thing is fun. Concept is cool and it works. Accuracy isn't bad for what it is. 10/10 recommend one.
Def need more videos. While I gained nothing from this video, I certainly enjoyed it. Keep up the subpar work gents and give the people what they need even if they don’t need it
I bought the gun the same day this video came out, but I didn't know this video existed. Now I do. If I had, I would've bought the gun 5 minutes earlier than I did
Love the channel. watched this one a little late but was still able to pick up the shirt. Keep going, don't ever stop one of my fav channels now. FYI is honestly one of the first merchandised shirts I have ever bought from youtubers. And I subscribe to a lot of the major hitters.
Other then the sbr barrel, you guys recreated the Charter Arms Explorer II. It's a great example of taking a questionable quality firearm and morphing it to an equally crappy product. Sorry if someone already mentioned the Explorer II. My limited attention span stopped me from checking all the comments. Hoping for a new season of videos!
Lol you guys are awesome. Great reviews all season and my favorite was the rock because it all came down to skill and equal price point compared it other rocks
A friend won an AR7. We played with it for a day and concluded that it is completely worthless as a survival rifle. Because the barrel is removed from the receiver, when reassembled, the zero is completely different. You'd go through your entire emergency supply of ammo just trying to figure out where the new point of aim should be. An old J-frame wrapped up in a ziplock bag would honestly be more useful as a back up "survival" gun.
@@Nylonscheme It's been 3 years or so, so I forget how much the shift was that we noted, just that it was significant. But what is the point of a "survival" 22lr rifle that can't hit past 25 yards? Can't hunt with it. And for anything like "self defense" it's an 8 shot 22lr, with horrible sights, abysmal accuracy, horrendous ergonomics, and marginal reliability . What does the AR7 have in it's favor? It floats? For the size and weight, I'd rather have a handgun or 10/22 Charger Takedown.
Funny how people whove never been in actual "survival" situations make statement like this. Ive used my AR7 on a float trip gone wrong in N.Idaho and it worked fine to kill a couple squirles and feed us for the night and next day...
Perfect for a low budget classic Jack Nicholson Joker cosplay. Don't discard the orange duo-tone in waistband holster. It goes well with the squirting flower. EDIT: Btw...can you call it "restock" if it's gone in less than a day? Or this was up much sooner on patreon.
Get the ruger 10/22 magpul backpacker. Its 100% percent better in every conceivable way. Paddle mag release that works great with 25 round mags, a decent aftermarket barrell optic mount, Its smaller when compacted than this thing while having mags in the buttstock. And a threaded barrel. Its not even a contest.
This rifle bears my name. 500y test?
You got the sneak peak!
Oh hi, Henry! *waves*
With and without acog
Yes 🙌 Please….I’ll donate patreon coins
I can't believe you sponsored these idiots. I mean I'm glad you did, but I can't believe it happened
This was one of my favorite videos y’all have made. Miss you all.

Henry lever guns: killing bears
Henry AR7: BEAR GRYLLS
Crazy to think that people who don’t believe this is the best channel on RUclips votes count the same as mine, that’s a tragedy
Milspec Mojo was stuck on the struggle bus getting that thing together. He obviously doesn't train as much as he should with the AR7....
Dats racist
"It's orange so that when people come to rescue you, you can a point a gun at them to get their attention."
DECIDE WHICH HOLE YOU WANT TO USE TO SURVIVE.

Looks like they really put some thought into....how to make it cheaply
That draw of that 16 inch handgun at the beginning had me crying while I found the subscribe button
My sides weren't prepared
Miller high life technically (and legally) meets the qualification to be a beer. It’s cheap and sometimes gets the job done.

"Standby... SURVIVE!" has got to be one of my most favorite things to sploog into these earholes.
Got one of these in a bug out bag in my closet; though in hindsight a take-down 10/22 would have been much more practical.
WTF?!!! LOL!!! I did NOT expect this! Funny guys! Oh I'm getting all the updates on this channel!
There is an ar pistol grip/pic rail stock adapter combo for this gun.

When are we getting a lever/bolt action video?
This was the funniest episode youve guys made. Jesus 😂 laughed the whole time
This video gave me cancer, loved it. This .22 is my chemo romance. Tried surviving the first 48 in Detroit and it went pretty well. 6/10
Your videos are basically what I imagine watching a garand thumb video after dropping acid would be like.
Or eating a lot of lead paint.
Hah.. i literally just got one of these the other day. Super accurate and a nice conversation piece.
If Jackass and The Hangover went to a gun store in Vegas and got married their baby would be this channel.
The great thing is that anything you guys do, Henry will fix - no questions asked. They literally don't care.
BESTEST SHIET I’VE SEEEN IN A WHILE
That iwb draw made me MOiST 💧
Massive congrats on all the success with the channel, fellas. Who would have thought you'd score Kim Jong-un as a guest this quickly?

You need to look up the old Charter Arms Explorer 2
It's an AR-7 in a pistol configuration

Love the behind enemy lines references. This would be the video for it after all. Stay cool out there

This gun honestly makes the Hi-point look like a great buy.
This IS one of the most entertaining gun videos I’ve ever watched. Ever.
I was just starting to miss you guys. Im ready to Survive now.
I was watching the fall video earlier today thinking to myself it's been one month, theres a video inbound at any moment, here I am now.
For a camp rifle getting a couple squirrels or rabbits it’s alright. My buddy has one and he just mag dumps it all the time at random shit.
I learned to shoot on the older, Charter Arms version. Believe me when I say Henry made some significant improvements.
The cut to the dremel killed me

Yeah but will it blend?
I like the the rifle ive shot several grouse, head shots mite you, was very accurate. Love it

Great episode. Wish Henry would re release the ar7 explorer aka the actual pistol version.
I have one & my safety isn't loose at all.

No no… It’s for 25-50 yards MAX. 22lr Won’t shift that much at 25yards. Agree not the best “survival” rifles though, I’d take a basic 10/22
