I read the actual short story the first comic was based on, it's pretty sad, dark and wholesome.
In the original artist's AU, Eggman took over the world, first destroying Blaze's dimension _(leaving her the only survivor)_ before invading Mobius.
Sonic fought Eggman and his forces alone after Blaze's home fell and he died in battle against him.
The following characters were causalties that followed soon after Sonic's death:
- Team Chaotix
- The Babylon Rogues
- Cream
- Vanilla
- Rouge
- Shadow

That’s the problem with having pity parties Amy is so hurt that Sonic doesn’t love her she doesn’t realizes Silver is right there to be with her through it all. Sonic and Blaze I believe is an better pairing to be fair in the beginning Amy was forcing it to be with Sonic but with Blaze she’s more mature and isn’t clingy She’s a rival to Sonic but also keeps him humble. I love Sonaze ^^
