Yes I had to pause the video. As a dasher with 4067 delivers I need to say in my area Door Dash sucks! They have allowed the whole community to request a dash fir 2..00/ 10 miles . With all the changes new completion rate in our area goes into effect 12/6.Door Dash needs to know you have the drivers that are willing to work if you just inform the customers about tipping along with raising the base pay. At this point I can’t even make 100.00 like I use to. It’s sick for DD to think that as long as the CEO and restaurants makes money that their system is working. DD has tanked our area to the point I’m declining at 10 jobs in a row. I am truly looking to go back to work to fund my business and give this gig stuff up. It’s not worth it anymore!
Large order program not in my market, TD didn’t change anything for me, I ALWAYS have scheduled many blocks each day! I’m PT, but Dash daily, $22-25/hr. It’s all about your market!
All about the market for sure. I consistently get 25hr where I am and when I was in Tucson it would vary from 15 to 30 depending on day of week and time of day
Hmm, idk about all that!? I was top dasher for 9 months had 95% Acceptance rate and 5 star rating and 100% on my deliveries did over 100 deliveries a month have over 1,000 life time deliveries, I never once got a large order, the app likes to tell you your getting special diamond higher paying orders but their idea of high was $5 and $6 . I went back to full time working and now only dash on the weekends I lost top dasher and have to schedule now but honestly it was super slow before that even, takes like anywhere between 4 and 5 hours to make $100. Now I always see all the areas in the gray never busy used to be very busy on the weekends but not anymore.

I littererly schedule 6 a day so I can cash out out a couple times a day and jump on 30 min after. Trick is to schedule the hours leading into ND after those prime time spots u can always dash now on.. if that .akes sense
They do pay 10, they actually pay 14 an order, but you have to do earn by time and they cover the difference but u will only get 2 orders an hour and they will be long drives most likely
I meet the criteria for the large order program. I'm in Columbus, OH. But how do I get in? Am I supposed to get a notification? I can buy a bag as soon as I'm notified but don't really want to pay for the bag first.
Didn't drive for DD for a couple years lost my large order privileges. So I put McDonald's orders in awesome bags, thanks Doordash! While I watch dashers not even use a bag lol.

However if I do, they get the same quality of service, hopefully change some minds. Quite frankly, good drivers whom care are constantly battling those who don't care to earn respect and tips. The delivery companies would be wise to fix that serious problem. I would get rid of 25% of drivers in 6 months, 50% in a year. Because the entire transaction paradigm would be changed, it would be doable. Fear not, they certainly won't do it.
I usually just talk to them. It’s a privilege to use the app. And the convo usually ends in laughter so one person at a time will learn. They won’t just learn by being entitled. That’s not positive reinforcement. They’ll expect the same treatment even when they don’t reciprocate the appreciation. Gotta speak up respectfully of course.
Market is horrible everywhere fees are high , tips are low to none. DD is tanking in my opinion. Stopped working because only scheduling times are 12am to 4am mostly. Horrible
I dash in a semi small area with a lot of dashers. Couple of times a week we get that "many dashers online" notification. In my area, it makes a huge difference if you're top dasher. You have to be in order to make any kind of money here. And maintain that 70% AR. As soon as mine gets below 70, I get all kinds of bs offers. My AR dropped from 74 to 29 in 2 days and been struggling all month (September 2023).
how did you let it get to 29 bruv just take whatever offer to keep it above 70. It only took me two drops to the 60’s to learn that. Never let it hit 70 ever again. a good trick is to change to bicycle mode and get short offers in a compact area to increase AR then go back to car mode once you hit 70+
Keeping that 95%cr even when not lop and the good customer ratings amd you do 100 deliveries per month can also give you 3rd tier priority to lop it'd how I got my first few before I got in. Now a days try calling next day after completing an lop if you have a catering bag and got one. Lop is any order over $100 subtotal.

Do I need to order the catering/large order bag through the doordash store to trigger it or is it something they'll offer when there is availability in my area? I am failu new to DD but I am full time and my ratings are all at or above the requirements. Thank u for all of your tips!
As a part timer, the minimum monthly deliveries does suck... but I also understand that people who do this for a living (and not a few extra bucks) probably need those benefits more.
Top dasher priority dasher normally make average 25 to 30 an hour DoorDash and in Baltimore or DC area now I’m in Chesterfield Richmond and I do not make that at all occasionally I’ll make 20 an hour. My average is about 17 an hour and it’s not consistent orders aren’t even consistent please. I’m believing that you’re in this area. What do I do, I’ve been a Dasher for years. It pays the bills. It’s the only job that I have and being here it has hurt me significantly.
TD is gaslighting. My orders aren’t any better at either level And the bad offers continue To come with TD. Because you have to accept those low paying offers it negates any better offers you might get so it averages out.
I’m cool with top dasher it was worth it I drive a Tesla though so gas isn’t a problem and yes i do have a %100 acceptance rates all I can say is it adds up if you have a conventional vehicle I understand why you wouldn’t accept all orders can’t blame you
I travel a lot I work in many different states. It makes it very difficult to schedule. So top Dasher is a must for me. All you need to do to acquire top Dasher is reserve the last three or four days of the month and work hourly. It's annoying but I always get top Dasher and 70% is a very easy Mark to hit with only 3 days left. The rest of the month I end up with about a 30% acceptance rate. Repeat 3 days of annoying runs on an hourly basis I get to schedule whenever and however I feel like. It's worth it.
Why do you need to do hourly? Couldn't you just take everything offered regardless of earn by time or earn by offer? Everything is everything either way, right?
I drive a truck so I cant schedule either have called and they will not fix it so annoying .. They cant understand what I am saying 50 pct of the time when I explain I am out of town trying to schedule .. How many hours do you have to work those last 3-4 days hourly to get top dasher ? I do it for my own Mental Health. I don't let you but if I get a $2 run or even a $4 run and I feel like I have to take it for numbers I'm infuriated the whole time I'm doing it. Whereas if I'm being paid by the hour I can drive slow, I can shop slow and generally speaking I can just take it very easy and not stress myself as much. So yes if you prefer you can most certainly take individual runs. I don't just because I go nuts when I get horrible runs back to back.
I’ve been top dasher with a catering bag, over 80%acceptance rate, 99%-100% completion rate, 4.90 customer rating or above since I started. Now at 920 deliveries. 6 months in. Have NEVER gotten a catering and only 1 large delivery. 😢
Yea. Ratings don’t mean anything. They say you’ll be high priority access to high pay orders at 50 or 70%. This is one of the lies they use to get dashers to accept low pay orders. Their goal is to make money for the business owners, and they can only do this if they are paying less money to dashers. We are making less than we did before, and it’s frustrating…it doesn’t seem like it will change. Less offers overall, and lower payouts…regardless of ratings. Newer dashers who don’t know the truth on door dash operations will replace dashers who bow out of this failing game.
Pretty sad that reaching 50% acceptance means taking horrible offers. 10 years or so of business and they still can't figure it out, pathetic business.

I don't mind losing as much as 15% of my customers in order to create transactions that are viable for all involved parties, my delivery company, restaurants, and drivers. In the end the 85% of customers left are better served.

Still wouldn't change delivery services distance issues the further the order the more difficult to extract enough from a customer to fairly compensate a driver, and make a little for your company. This is all common sense but you don't get Bachelors degrees in common sense.

5:23 - Early Access Scheduling: 12am the previous Friday &11:59pm the previous Thursday. That sounds like 5 deliveries in 1 minute but must mean in a week. HMMMMM!
No delivery driver make 25 in hours from doordash 😂😂😂. I been doing doordash since 2019 and even back them the most people could made is like 18usd per hours. $2 dollars rate per delivery 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fuck at here.
Sorry Bentley; you're wrong on the LOP. DD FAQ page clearly states LOP is enrollment based. Now; SOME select markets that have the Dasher Rewards pilot program where once you get there (Platinum) it is automatic. In my smaller market I am 'just' about the only Dasher that gets LOP Catering orders. Apparently there are only a half dozen of us. I run day time exclusively and (when talking to other Dashers) I Know I get the bulk of LOP because I am in the program. On several occasions I have gotten them back to back when it would have made sense to send the second one to another Dasher. Several Dashers have called to ask to be on the LOP and everyone says, DD says; We're full in your market but you are on the wait list.
I just got Platinum Status recently and was offered access to the Large Order Program. I just need to shoe proof/verify that I have a Catering Bag. I just ordered one from Amazon. So, I will be uploading the proof as soon as I receive it. Can't wait to see if I get any actual large orders.
@@lisapooler9957 What market you in? In my small 50,000 population college town; LOP orders are hit and miss. Some weeks I get 2-3 and sometimes none for a month. It's important to remember that LOP/catering orders are triggered when the customer buys over $100 of food. A group of 8-10 coworkers going in on lunch meets that criteria for now. My largest LOP orders go to corporate get togethers - meetings, guests etc. Just 2 weeks ago broke my catering payout record; previous was about $130 - last one was $200! ($1000.00 of Chipotle to the Vet Med college) So even if sporadic; it makes a nice surprise payout when it happens. Average LOP payout for me; $25 - $50 It all depends on how the customer tips and that is all over the map. In my market delivering an LOP takes no more time (or only 5-10 minutes longer) than a regular food delivery, so great pay. Good Luck!
Bishop boy country from the South but I'm in the West making it do what it do just want to let you know you forgot that once you are a not a top dashing anymore you are out of the large auto program you would not get large orders at all because the next month came around and you didn't make the criteria so all your status will be nothing you have to schedule everything and you don't get priority orders until you become a top that shift for the following month and I don't know for sure they will put you back on that status or you have to wait for you qualified again
I'm a top dasher and have the proper ratings. How do I get Door Dash to put me in Large order program. I have catering bag,also other bags and I carry my own cooler for cold drinks and food.
Anybody has an issue with the In Time / Early ratings? They only seem to go down and never go up. I have super good ratings but that’s the only one that doesn’t seem to get better only worse or even stay static for months.
I agree with you! I've been at 89% for at least a year. I've started to pay attention to my times and most are on time or early, some of course are late because of wait time at the restaurant and my percentage hasn't gone up at all!
They only give you 60 to take their low paying orders. Can usually send me orders when I'm driving. It is it illegal for me to text while I'm driving in my state. So by the time I get pulled over I've lost that order and my rating goes down.
Im glad the large order program exists. I do this full time and try to do 100 orders a week. Screw part timers that are taking more and more offers from people who do this for a living. Hey, don't hate, you have a w2 job.
Acceptance rate is NOT a necessary requirement for top dasher, do at least 13 shop orders a week and you'll be top dasher for the next week regardless of your acceptance rate! :)
That's not true. you just get the option to dash anytime. You are not top dasher which has more perks than that. 19k deliveries I know what I'm talking about
I'll have to recheck the weekly notification tomorrow, it has a button that says see your perks and if memory serves if you click on that it says congrats you're top dasher next week with these perks, but I could be wrong , it could just be dash anytime , which is the main perk of top dasher anyway, with a 15% acceptance rate 🤷
My acceptance rate went below 50% and the orders slowed down and the order quality was down. In two weeks I raised it and I can’t complain. I had an excellent weekend. I did work by time Thursday night to help raise my rate. I hated it. But the next 3 shifts were great. My acceptance rate is now 68%

Door Dash is still only paying about $3 per delivery. They say they pay 2 -10 per delivery. I have yet to see any $10 payments.

So as a new dasher. I'm finding my location plays a big part in the amount I make. 7 days a week it is always busy so I can always just dash now. 😅

I qualify for everything except the acceptance rate there’s so many bad orders in my area I’m not taking it

Also…don’t fall for the top dasher scam. It’s another tool to get you to accept low ball offers. Better offers are never a guarantee. Bad offers ARE.

5:23 - Early Access Scheduling: 12am the previous Friday &11:59pm the previous Thursday. That sounds like 5 deliveries in 1 minute but must mean in a week. HMMMMM!
No delivery driver make 25 in hours from doordash 😂😂😂. I been doing doordash since 2019 and even back them the most people could made is like 18usd per hours. $2 dollars rate per delivery 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Fuck at here.

Sorry Bentley; you're wrong on the LOP.
DD FAQ page clearly states LOP is enrollment based.
Now; SOME select markets that have the Dasher Rewards pilot program where once you get there (Platinum) it is automatic.
In my smaller market I am 'just' about the only Dasher that gets LOP Catering orders.
Apparently there are only a half dozen of us.
I run day time exclusively and (when talking to other Dashers) I Know I get the bulk of LOP because I am in the program.
On several occasions I have gotten them back to back when it would have made sense to send the second one to another Dasher.
Several Dashers have called to ask to be on the LOP and everyone says, DD says;
We're full in your market but you are on the wait list.
I just got Platinum Status recently and was offered access to the Large Order Program. I just need to shoe proof/verify that I have a Catering Bag. I just ordered one from Amazon. So, I will be uploading the proof as soon as I receive it. Can't wait to see if I get any actual large orders.

What market you in?
In my small 50,000 population college town; LOP orders are hit and miss.
Some weeks I get 2-3 and sometimes none for a month.
It's important to remember that LOP/catering orders are triggered when the customer buys over $100 of food.
A group of 8-10 coworkers going in on lunch meets that criteria for now.
My largest LOP orders go to corporate get togethers - meetings, guests etc.
Just 2 weeks ago broke my catering payout record; previous was about $130 - last one was $200! ($1000.00 of Chipotle to the Vet Med college)
So even if sporadic; it makes a nice surprise payout when it happens.
Average LOP payout for me; $25 - $50
It all depends on how the customer tips and that is all over the map.
In my market delivering an LOP takes no more time (or only 5-10 minutes longer) than a regular food delivery, so great pay.

Bishop boy country from the South but I'm in the West making it do what it do just want to let you know you forgot that once you are a not a top dashing anymore you are out of the large auto program you would not get large orders at all because the next month came around and you didn't make the criteria so all your status will be nothing you have to schedule everything and you don't get priority orders until you become a top that shift for the following month and I don't know for sure they will put you back on that status or you have to wait for you qualified again

I'm a top dasher and have the proper ratings. How do I get Door Dash to put me in Large order program. I have catering bag,also other bags and I carry my own cooler for cold drinks and food.
DD should double the base pay for top dashers that would be a great perk
25hr is rookie numbers, you need to get those numbers up.

Anybody has an issue with the In Time / Early ratings? They only seem to go down and never go up. I have super good ratings but that’s the only one that doesn’t seem to get better only worse or even stay static for months.
I agree with you! I've been at 89% for at least a year. I've started to pay attention to my times and most are on time or early, some of course are late because of wait time at the restaurant and my percentage hasn't gone up at all!
I love getting top Dasher
They only give you 60 to take their low paying orders. Can usually send me orders when I'm driving. It is it illegal for me to text while I'm driving in my state. So by the time I get pulled over I've lost that order and my rating goes down.

Im glad the large order program exists. I do this full time and try to do 100 orders a week. Screw part timers that are taking more and more offers from people who do this for a living. Hey, don't hate, you have a w2 job.

Acceptance rate is NOT a necessary requirement for top dasher, do at least 13 shop orders a week and you'll be top dasher for the next week regardless of your acceptance rate! :)

That's not true. you just get the option to dash anytime. You are not top dasher which has more perks than that. 19k deliveries I know what I'm talking about

I'll have to recheck the weekly notification tomorrow, it has a button that says see your perks and if memory serves if you click on that it says congrats you're top dasher next week with these perks, but I could be wrong , it could just be dash anytime , which is the main perk of top dasher anyway, with a 15% acceptance rate 🤷
My acceptance rate went below 50% and the orders slowed down and the order quality was down. In two weeks I raised it and I can’t complain. I had an excellent weekend. I did work by time Thursday night to help raise my rate. I hated it. But the next 3 shifts were great. My acceptance rate is now 68%
