After delivery $43.75 was the final payout
Just last night I got a Little Caesar's order that said 17 items, 7.1 miles, $12.50 payout. It was 30 pizzas, 12 Crazy Sauce and 12 Crazy Breads. So I have no idea why the item count was so off. Anyway, total payout was a few cents short of fifty bucks.
Not being rude. If you said 30 pizzas and the other numbers, where was this drop off? I'm serious when I say this. I make 30.00 on one pizza order for 5 mls and under sometimes. Again not not calling you out, just curious how that payout happened?
I would’ve taken it, as long as it was in a good drop off location. That being said, DoorDash should stop doing this and show the full amount if they really want orders to get done faster.
I still don't see the benefit on hiding the tips. On one hand, you would want the driver to know the full pay. But! On the other hand, they don't want the Driver to know that the Customer isn't tipping either. It's up to the Driver to be smart with the dollars to miles ratio. They should identify it based on the low pay/high mileage offers.

You are totally making sense. There’s a high chance that the number of items could actually mean a large hidden tip. It is just part of the game. I’m taking into consideration all your advice, I don’t have to act all arrogant when we have a dasher like you who studies their job and understand that we are a company and doordash is hiring us. Thank you so much for giving me a different perspective.
Thanks Bentley. Been full time dashing for almost 3 years, and its about time I get back into the workforce and get that young education. Just wanna say I appreciate you for all the videos and when I first decided to go full time you had some videos covering it and they really helped me make the switch and get out of a shitty job. It's been a fun few years, but traffic/notips/app crashes just are starting to get the best of me and I found a great opportunity.
Same happened to me. I got an order from a local restaurant and it was only $7. When I show up to the restaurant it was a bunch of stuff but the app wasn't showing how many items it was. Long story short. I got $35 tip from that order.
The past 2 weeks have been very discouraging. I've been getting less orders and lower paying ones. I can't wait to try yiur advice from the videos you posted. Thank you for giving me the hope and motivation to go back out there.
I agree with you that we're always "playing the game" I like to think if an order is worth it, but then again, when it's slow I'll take something rather than sit and do nothing. And then sometimes I'm just curious as to what the restaurant is like so it's a free way of checking out the restaurant without having to purchase anything. We recently found a really good pizza restaurant this way. Every time we pick up from there our car smells delicious. 🤣
I get those too. In a winter storm took 2 deliveries the offer was for 18.00$ in the end it was for 68.00. not including tip.. 87.00$ in the end 1hr3min
Maybe for you but I drive a 3 cylinder car and DD is not where I make my money. Uber eats. Lots of drivers cry about not making money that sounds like you 😂.
Yep, have to agree as long as the price of the order is realistic and within my goals per hr I'm always winning no matter what....anything extra is just alittle more flavor added to the soup
I took a multi-item order for 23 miles and the payout said, $2.50 going to a dentist office. I drove the 23 miles and unloaded the items in their breakroom and completed the order... the payout was $2.50!!!!! I called them and politely asked if there was a cash tip because the app didn't show one and I thought it was a mistake. They told me to come back and handed me a $50 tip!!!
It's really about time like you talked about. I got hung up on seeing a big ticket order, but not paying attention to the distance. Some had me drive way too far. I've learned to take the ones in short distance but are fast turn around restaurants. When I'm close to my 20 an hour rate I'll sneak in some small orders in short distance to even it out. What I love about this gig is time flies because you're always crunching numbers against the hour. Finally hit my 100 for 4 hours today. Great tip on looking at items before. Also, in 4 hours I only spent 20 in gas.
@@gwendolyn79 I start at 7 am and go till 6. I get a ton of 4-7 dollar orders but the distance is no more than 10 miles. I got good at not going with how many miles they say ( they are drastically below actual) and I have a good idea what area I'm in. I'm right around $30 an hour but sometimes it is slow for am hour or two. My location is a college town in the suburbs. Zero city traffic. Nobody wants to drive into town.
@@mtbiker4life918 got it. I start at 9 am and I work until 3 pm. My goal is to make between $80 and $100 a day. Today I made $64. with Uber Eats and $28 with door dash. I drive 4-5 miles and accept $6.50 and up. I’ll do some $5 orders if they’re within 1 -2 miles at the end of the hour.
I love big orders, big orders are usually business accounts and big tips. Yep I do the same $25. per hour or more. Been lucky doing since March and only had 2 orders I had to wait about 10 minutes. Some days its those $7. orders that get you that money. Double orders I get often so in my first 2 orders I can get $28. or more in less than an hour. I try to stay in a zone but you can get easily taken to the other side lol getting stuck with orders but getting stuck with constant orders is great. That way the money comes faster.
I unassigned an Albertson's order today when I found it was all cases of water. If it had been 7 cans of soup, I would have been good but it was all cases of drinks. The lesson from golf is you get in trouble you get out. You don't need to hit a hole in one on every shot. take an order that will get you on track. I like that $20/hr minimum. Love it.
I have found as a customer that giving a low at tip on the App.And handing the a higher CASH $40-$80 tip is best. All if them are shocked when they come to drop off my food because they are not expecting a cash tip. Relying on tips bites and I know how thar feels.I tip like I know how that feels.
That’s great. I am traumatized from a grocery order where I had to walk through a large poorly lit condo development. I need to learn how to look up the order before accepting.
Bentley, you are correct because I had a catering order just today for 95 items for $8 going 3.1 miles and I had to set it up and that only take me a max of 15 minutes. So I took this 95, item order and low and behold it turned out that with tip was $128 order and to all places one of my favorite places to go was to a doctor's office because they tip very well. So I ended my day with over $300.
I am so thankful that I ran into your videos! Your videos are the best reference on Dashing I have come across! You may have already mentioned this in one of your videos but I always have my phone hooked up to my car charger while dashing. I also have a fully charged battery pack as a backup in case my phone starts to lose power. Thanks again for what you do ❤
This information has helped me so much since I watched another video you made. I never even looked at the number of items before I seen it and it's been better for me. Thank you for sharing what you know and trying to help other drivers get this money
My market went to tip AFTER delivery ONLY at the end of March. Tip culture in Baton Rouge is trash. Tons of no tip orders. I was a huge cherry picker before it changed. After the change, you literally cant cherry pick because there is no tip to see. I switched to only picking up from restaurants and skipping fast food spots. That didnt help me make more money. Over time i kept taking orders that got me priority access for the higher paying orders by being over 50%. Within 2 weeks i made top dasher because it only sent me higher paying orders 80% of the time. 3 weeks into being a top dasher between the dash anytime, high paying orders being prioritized, and getting orders 1st when its slow . Since getting top dasher im at $28 per hr in earnings with less than 10% of that income being tips. I made $100 in 4 hours tonight with a WHOPPING $3 in tips.
If this was shopping for the items, I wouldn't take it, but considering it's a restaurant, they're responsible for the food so I would have taken it. Thank you for this learning experience and great advice! 😊
I have noticed those hidden tips and especially if it is for a place of business! We had a super rainy Friday over here in Washington state and I had a double order for of all things warm cookies from Crumbl! But the 2nd delivery was to a vet office and she even came out to my car to grab them from me in the rain, and then I got a bigger tip too! I made very good time and her whole box of cookies were still warm. Winning!! 🏆
@iatealready stop crying 😭 delivery is not meant for you if you don't want to make deliveries don't but leave those of us that have mouths to feed be been with Uber over 4hr and have made great money last year over 50,000$ the year before over 34,000$. So if you want to get a real job and go work for the man do you boo boo. I'm living the new American dream paying my bills and Uber has helped.
@iatealready this guy is hilarious. Yes I can read and you go on doing what your doing and I'll continue doing what I'm doing the easy way and as long as they is some one willing to pay for delivery service I will gladly continue to deliver . Hope you have a great day. As I know I will... ✌️
I got a $20.36 for Taco bell for 2.5 miles for Uber Eats... 248 items (234 diablo packets) Now normally the drive thru takes forever and I'd say no but I got there and waited about 15 mins before getting order. Total time was 26 mins. $5 tip. I wanted to share and say thank you for giving me these tips, I wasnt paying attention to the number of items before. Keep doing what your doing!
I use the same strat like you bro. so long as I meet my hourly goal or over, I am good. And I have been going over my hourly goal over the last 3 months
Hello. I like your videos. Interesting tips. I suggest you to also talk about the maps that Doordash allows you to use and how the Doordash map makes you take a longer route.
The key for my market is 4$ over base pay. So 8$ . Or 10$ if there is 2$ base pay for example. I ALWAYS take 8$ orders, I mean I would anyways, but that is where the hidden tips are. It's important to learn the hidden tip number for your market. Since I learned my magic number 25$ a hour is pretty much my expected weekly wage.
@@jsml337g05u makes sense. Is the base pay in your market 2.25$? In mine it is 4$, but that is Canadian dollars. I just wonder if 4$ is the magic number everywhere. That is the highest of recommended tips here, so I assume they just stop showing us after the tip exceeds the highest recommended tip.
I took a 12.50 for like 11 miles..was pretty frustrated until I received 25.. was one of my best hrs in a while for 3 deliveries...I do appreciate seeing the whole pay so I'm feeling great about the deal. But....if you take orders consistently, the payout seems to always come out good. (Using proper judgement; ie, mileage!)
Thank you Bentley!! Because I watch your videos I got $17.25 on an order that I accepted for $6.25 for about 2 miles that was 17 items. I waited about 15 minutes. While I was waiting I accepted an addon for Chipotle in the next complex over for $6 with 7 items that turned out to be $13.41. Right before this I turned down an order for $14.25 for a little over 9 miles. It would have taken me too close to downtown and I don't/won't deliver there if I can help it. I think making $31 to stay in my zone which probably took less time than that $14 order would have taken was a very good deal.
Let’s go…..”take the game to another level” 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 it’s my 3rd day on the gig and I haven’t declined anything yet. All my orders been above $5.50 an order. I’m learning a lot here.
I tried para for a week or two even though you taught me that $4+ tips are candidates for hidden tips. I decided to remove the ap though because I felt it didn't do much for me that I couldn't do for myself and it was a distraction in the end. I appreciate the tips you and other drivers have shown me. Take care brother.
Bentley you da man. Good common sense with this video. You comments are very sensible. Had a McDonalds order which started at around $7-7.50, I saw about 500 items on the first screen and said hmmmn this is interesting. I'll accept. While in the poarking lot I saw about 150-200 were sauces but spotted the rest were burgers, chicken, fries, drinks. McDonalds was ready for me and was out the door in under 10 minutes. 5-10 additional minutes fitting stuff in my car. The delivery went fairly well in spiote of many heavy boxes. Drive was around 3 miles. When the order was completed the $7+ turned into $53 plus. You have to be positive but accept what is reasonable.
These tips are awesome! I get about $125 a day for Tampa, because it's too much traffic in Tampa to move anywhere fast. A 1-2 mile trip can take 10 minutes with the traffic lights around here. It's a joke! Otherwise, you still help! Thanks!

I had quit after 2 days because I was in the negative, but you have to know how to play the game apparently. There are rules to making money in any business. I'm going thru a 2 day " seminar"on your videos than I will get back in with Uber eats. I was literally taking every food order, 3, 5,7 driving 12 miles etc. Because I hadn't done in before and I was under the assumption that I had to take every order. Thank you so much. 😊
I've had this offers before and its the best! Hahahaha as long as I see more than 8 items and its not a fast food and like 5-10 dollar/mile ratio I'm taking it right away!
$7.25 in Sarasota/Bradenton usually is a magical number and winds up being around $40+....especially if it's going to a doctor's office. $7.25 here is like everyone else's $6.25. There's a hidden tip in there and Bradenton is a lot like Charlotte lots of orders going to medical centers. Thanks Bentley!
@@maxhudson6907 yes it's Tampa Clearwater Dashers. You'll like it...very consistent but I had to move back up to the Panhandle. Still averaging around $1300-1500/week consistently. It's all about strategy! Michaelangelo Pizza was my favorite...LG orders around $45-60
I took a $8 order today from Pollo tropical here in Jacksonville Florida. It was a catering order turned out to be probably a $300 delivery and yeah I thought there was a hidden tip in there and Bam nope I had to carry it up two flights of stairs.
i'm not a fan of the "hide-the-tip" game. i've delivered some serious time wasters, hoping for a bigger pay out. instead of that, i'll multi-app to get my $25+ hourly.
Turn on the low before I guess not like to pick up items to tap instead of press because I have mine so I have to hold it and where to pick something up but I don’t want it like that like when I pick up items it says that I have to hold square to pick up items but I know you can have it so it’s justmmmkm mm

I agree your strategy works for those who only do DD to make money. You have to take a cut in one order to get a higher payout on another. It's a give and take. But for us multi appers we use whatever tool will give us an advangage
That was beautiful. And I have a new slogan. I definitely would have snatched that order. I have been burned on big orders a few time... but the benefits out weigh the burning. If I deliver a big order and it doesnt go up i am surprised but honestly F them. I delivered 45 burger meals (no drink thank god) from denny's to a doctor's office. Got my 15 beans (from dd because the medical center didnt tip) and got out. Next trip I picked up a cater order (6 boxes) from chipotle $14 offer $176 payout... so either way I had a $29 hour that turned into $191
@@danielfreemanreels4053 I don't know. Dd accepted me into the drive program years ago but never gave me the option to preschedule my pick ups. So I get cater orders like normal orders all the time.
More people need to call support for issues that slow us down. At least one, or two a week if the lines aren't too busy. They're trying to tweak issues to improve efficiency because the more we make, the more they make. They can't fix problems that they don't know about.
I would definitely take it. I get hidden tip orders all the time. Sometimes it's a gamble but 98% of the time the hidden tip is there. Never get those really big catering orders around here though.
I got one from Panera. It was a $30 tip. I made sure all the sauces were there. Even if I have to get a small bag to put them in. The customers really appreciate it. If I see fries I ask for ketchup etc.

Set up shop. Doordash business cards, good RUclips links (a mix of door dashing entertainment/ marketing and strategies/ tips, help and learn dead too) drop these on the blocks and it’s a win-win. Then apply doordash ads to schools/ big employee based businesses (perhaps like a device that McDonald’s has) then the whole money and negotiation talk.?
I've had numerous orders where I got to the restaurant (Panera/Qdoba/Chipotle) and what only showed as 2 items to go 2 miles, for $8.50. And it turned out that it was a catering order and the two items were to big boxes of meals. When that happens I normally end up with $50 to $100 bucks total.. but there it is. Mean while guys tell me they won't pick up from Panera Bread, and I'm like.. Kewl, more for me. Since people ordering from those particular stores do tend to tip.
all points well said and taken too ... at the end of the day though, what i check out is the three items below: 1. how much time did i spend driving / delivering for Doordash 2. how many miles did i drive during that time 2. how much $ i made if i drive the least amount of distance at the lowest time and made a good amount of money meanwhile, then that's a good day ... based on the above, i think anyone reading this would promptly realize it doesn't matter how much per hour i make really ... that's simply because what's the use of making at least $20 / hr when i have driven a total of 100 miles in more than 6 or 8 hours on a particular day? that's a big loss actually not a win really, right?
My market is in Houston Tx. I never get hidden tips. Always what you see is what you get except rare times a customer will give me some dollars 3,5,10. But rare.
I have an order like that from Chick-fil-A on UE and it was a big order and when I got the text that I received the tip I have to stop the car , I started shaking when I saw $50 tip.
Can you do a video about heat bags, and pizza bags destroying orders? For the most part they have been awesome, but certain places that put hot food in paper bags like five guys, or pizza orders that have to go like 20 mins away...the condensation literally melts the paper bag or cardboard pizza box and panic mode ensues at the stop.
@Rocketroach that’s why I didn’t buy one when DoorDash initially wanted me to. I only got one when the bitesquad managers came out to my city doing surveys and spring cleaning. They gave me 2 hot bags, a pizza bag, 6 brand t shirts, and a box of latex gloves all for free.
The only item that hits the heat bag 100 percent of the time is ice cream. Dairy queen near where I live is huge. I don't understand why people get soft serve ice cream delivered. You know the second after they flip that blizzard and hand it off it starts turning into soup.
Got a catering order from moes southwest accepted it at 10.25 waited close to 40 minutes.... payout was close to $30 and it was my last order yassssss STAY in my bag you hear me🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
crazy how u talked about para...I literally downloaded it yesterday after I thought an order was gonna pay me extra n it turned put to b trash...im good with spotting extra pay n sometimes even wen I don't think it's extra pay it, it's pays crazy...but the reason I downloaded para was for the cater orders cuz wen u wait 30 mins for n $8 order n it turns out to b an $8 it really suck cuz in tht 30mins you could've get atleast 2-3 orders done tht will definitely b more than $8
I tried to use para last year and it was one big headache that didn't work all the time and simply wasn't worth the effort. I installed it and moved on with my life and I've been doing fine ever since.

I agree with you that we're always "playing the game"
I like to think if an order is worth it, but then again, when it's slow I'll take something rather than sit and do nothing.
Bro you called asking for a tip? 😂
Heck yeah I would have asked too.. We are not charity worker's
😂😂 I heard that
It's really about time like you talked about.
Was this during dinner shift that you made $100 in 4 hours?
Love it.
I subbed cuz your intro alone. Finally found a pro to talk about this stuff. Thanks brother!
The knowledge dropped in this video is a crime. I learned SO much!! Ty, I’m definitely following your strategy.
I got a catering order today pay out was 14 on app I got paid 65.20 whole order a 55 dollar tip
I am so thankful that I ran into your videos! Your videos are the best reference on Dashing I have come across! You may have already mentioned this in one of your videos but I always have my phone hooked up to my car charger while dashing. I also have a fully charged battery pack as a backup in case my phone starts to lose power. Thanks again for what you do ❤
Great idea
This information has helped me so much since I watched another video you made. I never even looked at the number of items before I seen it and it's been better for me. Thank you for sharing what you know and trying to help other drivers get this money
This was such an awesome vid bro! Stacked with Golden Meteors! This is why I subbed cuz Bentley Koup comes thru in the clutch!
Thank you so much!! I tried experimenting with some orders with this strategy and all but 1 had hidden tips. GOAT
@@carlosrodriguez-th5ue how do you pay taxes?
Yeah, mine seems to be 6.25 most frequently.
Newbie here. About 400 dashes. Thanks for the tips bro. 😀 👍
Thank you! The information in your videos has been very helpful for me so far.
I learn something new every time I watch these your videos bro. You have no idea how much you've helped me learn and earn Fam.
As a new Dasher my focus is the initial tip and milage and the customer.
85 items... I don't care as long as they aren't drinks. Item count doesn't even factor into my strategy unless it's a shop order.
Bro u the goat of this delivery shit always got good vibes and vids
I would have taken it also. I do not have FOMO either. You do you!!! 💕 Love your strategies. And this is why we average over 20 and hour
A 1-2 mile trip
can take 10 minutes with the traffic lights around here. It's a joke! Otherwise, you still help! Thanks!
Wow, never got a order that big. It drives me crazy when the address and miles change after acceptance because the customer is actually further away.
Dude, you're the only DD videos I watch! Could you keep your graphics up longer so I can get a good look at'em. Thx!
Yes and keep it moving. I never cancel if i have to wait i just let customer know and they love it thats how i get good tips with my hot bags. Yesss tell em Bentley the newbies need to know. Thats why i love hearing you preach dash tips. Keep up the good work good pep talk for me. Thanks man! Take care be safe make that easy cash!! Pu drop off get paid!!
Fax!! I’m taking this order in my sleep 1000% of the time… I am thinking it’s a catering order
I'm maybe moving to that area. It's 6.25 for 3 mi. 7 to 7.25 for 4mi. 8 for 5 etc. In my area. Is there a FB group in that area I can join?
@@maxhudson6907 yes it's Tampa Clearwater Dashers. You'll like it...very consistent but I had to move back up to the Panhandle. Still averaging around $1300-1500/week consistently. It's all about strategy! Michaelangelo Pizza was my favorite...LG orders around $45-60
I'm from Bradenton also. I've noticed a lot of $6.25 payouts with hidden tips if the trip is less than 5.5 miles.
Excellent video thank you very much for your guidance!!!! I just started dashing.
Take Note or come up with ur own strategy. This Man be dropping Gems to help boost ur pay!!! Thank U 🙏 🙏
Idc Abt door dash stopped years ago but I'm just here for the u king. Keep it up
I took a $8 order today from Pollo tropical here in Jacksonville Florida. It was a catering order turned out to be probably a $300 delivery and yeah I thought there was a hidden tip in there and Bam nope I had to carry it up two flights of stairs.
Damn!!! I hate that :(((
Corporate people suck!! Been there.
I’m definitely willing to PLAY THE GAME 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 let’s go!
Totally enjoyed this video, thnx for info. Every order is a learning experience.
Helping me on my journey🤙🏾 I think your the best dasher for advice
i'm not a fan of the "hide-the-tip" game. i've delivered some serious time wasters, hoping for a bigger pay out. instead of that, i'll multi-app to get my $25+ hourly.
Turn on the low before I guess not like to pick up items to tap instead of press because I have mine so I have to hold it and where to pick something up but I don’t want it like that like when I pick up items it says that I have to hold square to pick up items but I know you can have it so it’s justmmmkm mm
Biz phone what do you mean by multi app. Please be detailed I don't want to miss any money
@@brittanynelson2452 I answered this but it must've been censored. search for it.
@unplugged 92 i thought UE showed the drop on that lil map image behind the accept tab. no specific address but a general area.
@@bizphone8662 okay, just noticed my comments were turned off
8 months later and this is still a brilliant video! 👏
The tips that you give on your channel are willllllllllddddd likeeee when I need help or just not feeling my current way of doing something dashing thru out the day, you legit have something already on your page fired up and I’m like damn …. This guy does not fucking playyyyy😂😂😂
You’re truly heaven sent. I’m all ears Bentley.
Thank you for being a rock star and sharing great advice!!!
I agree your strategy works for those who only do DD to make money. You have to take a cut in one order to get a higher payout on another. It's a give and take. But for us multi appers we use whatever tool will give us an advangage
Why else would anyone do door dash? If not for Money
Next trip I picked up a cater order (6 boxes) from chipotle $14 offer $176 payout... so either way I had a $29 hour that turned into $191
That's rare... I've noticed that the catering orders are now just blended into the normal orders... did DD end the drive orders
@@danielfreemanreels4053 I don't know. Dd accepted me into the drive program years ago but never gave me the option to preschedule my pick ups. So I get cater orders like normal orders all the time.
I had 50 items chic fila. All chicken sandwiches. DD sent for 14.50. When done got 49.00 💰 45 cust tip n DD paid 4 😂 was like 275 $ worth of food.
More people need to call support for issues that slow us down. At least one, or two a week if the lines aren't too busy. They're trying to tweak issues to improve efficiency because the more we make, the more they make. They can't fix problems that they don't know about.
And thank you for all your help great advice and tips
Thank you. That's very helpful. I think we're on the same wavelength
Off the hook as usual Bentley!
You got any hand me down hats or shirts fam 😇 Great attitude!🤘🏼
BTW: my fast pay fee is still $1.99. I haven’t done it yet, but planned to for today. Love the content.
Very informative for a newbie. Thnx.
6:35 FOMO is one of the coolest acronyms. I came to this conclusion months ago.
Good content brother! Thanks for ur time
Boy that 2hour strategy is official work like a charm made 100 in 4hours yesterday came out this morning for 2 hours made 50. YOU IS THE MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN💯💯💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I use the widget for EVERY Dash! Great tip!!!
I never used the widget. How do you use it or for what reason?
Set up shop. Doordash business cards, good RUclips links (a mix of door dashing entertainment/ marketing and strategies/ tips, help and learn dead too) drop these on the blocks and it’s a win-win. Then apply doordash ads to schools/ big employee based businesses (perhaps like a device that McDonald’s has) then the whole money and negotiation talk.?
In my area all orders are in a low price range 😞 I would love to see bigger amounts being paid
Thank for sharing so much information 🧐 it is helpful 😁
I stand by what i said. The pay for the miles was worth it. If it was 84 drinks I was unassigning
I'd take that order. I just started yesterday, made $175! I love DoorDash.
You can see the number of items on doordash for Android before you accept but you cannot see what they are until after you accept
Also I don't know any way to get the destination of the customer info. There are neighborhoods I just won't go to.
That’s good but I don’t except orders that are three dollars for two items I’ve done it a few times and I don’t even get a tip
That took a long time to explain that!!! I probably got ADD from all these social media apps
🥱🥱 NOT FUNNY!!! Must have read that on popsicle stick some where
I've had numerous orders where I got to the restaurant (Panera/Qdoba/Chipotle) and what only showed as 2 items to go 2 miles, for $8.50. And it turned out that it was a catering order and the two items were to big boxes of meals. When that happens I normally end up with $50 to $100 bucks total.. but there it is. Mean while guys tell me they won't pick up from Panera Bread, and I'm like.. Kewl, more for me. Since people ordering from those particular stores do tend to tip.
all points well said and taken too ... at the end of the day though, what i check out is the three items below:
1. how much time did i spend driving / delivering for Doordash
2. how many miles did i drive during that time
2. how much $ i made
if i drive the least amount of distance at the lowest time and made a good amount of money meanwhile, then that's a good day ...
based on the above, i think anyone reading this would promptly realize it doesn't matter how much per hour i make really ... that's simply because what's the use of making at least $20 / hr when i have driven a total of 100 miles in more than 6 or 8 hours on a particular day? that's a big loss actually not a win really, right?
You seem like the only person who’s making good money with doordash right now
My market is in Houston Tx.
I don’t even look at the amount of items I look at miles vs amount. I didn’t even know it was 85 items till you mentioned it.
Yea half the time I don't even put 5 guys in a bag so it doesn't turn to a sloppy mess. If you order 5 guys and live 10 miles away then its on you tho
Crack the bag open to let out steam which makes condensation ( that might help)
I would never take ice cream orders from Dairy Queen or 31 flavors . It would melt !
Got a catering order from moes southwest accepted it at 10.25 waited close to 40 minutes.... payout was close to $30 and it was my last order yassssss STAY in my bag you hear me🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
crazy how u talked about para...I literally downloaded it yesterday after I thought an order was gonna pay me extra n it turned put to b trash...im good with spotting extra pay n sometimes even wen I don't think it's extra pay it, it's pays crazy...but the reason I downloaded para was for the cater orders cuz wen u wait 30 mins for n $8 order n it turns out to b an $8 it really suck cuz in tht 30mins you could've get atleast 2-3 orders done tht will definitely b more than $8
Exactly 💯
I tried to use para last year and it was one big headache that didn't work all the time and simply wasn't worth the effort. I installed it and moved on with my life and I've been doing fine ever since.
