Just brilliant. That spiral sequence and the way it was choreographed to the music was insane. The combination spin at the end and how that beautifully accentuated the peak of the music. Chef’s kiss.

Fabulous as always from Sasha Cohen... but what was the cameraman thinking in a close up on the charlotte spiral (and one of the spins) so you could barely see it? Sasha's extension/flexibility on this move is arguably the best in the world but you can't see it when the camera is focused only on her ankle. The quality of the cameraman needs to be up to the quality of the skater!!!

THis is the most amazig program ever performed... I miss figure skating in these days with such wonderful skaters-im still getting over no spiral sequences now :(
Thank you, Leotjoe for posting this performance. Sasha changed figure skating more than anyone else in history. Ladies are still trying to do what Sasha did, but it's just not happening. You would need the top skills from 5 different championship skaters to even approach the artistry of Sasha Cohen. It really is remarkable. Since Sasha left, it's just been a parade of ladies skaters hurrying from jump to jump, spin to spin, and none of them look as good as Sasha does. Right down to the last ladies figure skater - Sasha is the greatest of all time. She is the single most talented figure skater in history. She just is.
Greatest skater of all time? No. A star? Yes. Did she change skating? Yes. They all have their place in the sun! She and Michelle, in my mind, are the best of skating. They are what every lady skater today attempts to emulate. Forget Tara and Sarah...Michelle and Sasha are two that were always hotly contended. Not flashes in the pan. Great skaters in different ways; to be highly appreciated on the same accord! However, I am and always be Team Michelle! Love you, Sasha!
It's amazing if skating had just a short program how different some of the ladies results would be. If we take some of the top names in sport from the golden years (1992-2006) and gave them the titles based on the short program...just imagine this.

1:48 expressive down to her finger tips. 6.0 in the SP at Worlds was very rare and she got 4 of them, wow.
I always find different things to love about this performance. My favorite is the section at 1:27 b/c it's pure art. And her rhythm is impeccable.
I think this was one of her best short program I've ever watch! I love her routine and her costume!
