From what I heard, U.M.&M. actually altered the original camera negatives, and so unless theatrical duplicates exist from that era, those original title sequences are gone forever.
I’m sorry, but while this is certainly a magnificent rare find and restoration. The splicing and audio skipping REALLY hurts this one. Plus… it’s not really THE BEST Little Audrey short… (though what you consider the “best” of this series is up in the air). This is why these shorts needed other characters from the comics like Melvin, Lucretia, Dot or Lotta. Someone for Audrey to really bounce off of so we don’t almost always get these cheesy dream sequences.
My say in this (dont gotta read); to have Little Audrey put to trial for all the humans crimes from fishland, that's not right. She didn't do the crimes said by the witnesses. she's just a child, cant even get a job at this age (which i assume is 5-7 years old). She should be let free and maybe have a warning if they think it's that bad, even if it was in a dream. She did get a pardon, though, so that's good, but for it to happen in the forsy place and it ran like that, it annoys me Thank you for reading something that most didnt ask for

This used to air on our local independent TV station's cartoon programs when I was a kid. I love Jackson Beck as the judge.
Despite the slim splices during the intro sequence and scratches, this looks crisp!
I remember a long time ago from this short from VHS. It ends with Andrey getting electrocuted and it cuts to the next short.
