No they are not
To all those saying that there is no biblical bases for large gatherings please read Acts 5:12-16
Heaven is one big mega church with singing and dancing. It's all worship to our Lord. 24/7 forever.
The biblical curch did not gather weekly to listen to someone deliver a monologue - that came later when the second sophistic infiltrated the church - any church that revolves around a professional "christian" delivering a speech is unbiblical.
Is god fake
Love it! Great job!
Mega-churches are antithetical to Christ's intention based on the evidence they have shown. They propagates legalistic tithing, which enables the love of money: the root of all EVIL.
No, when Jesus went to pray ihe went to the house of God.
Koinonitis lol. That’s was funny
In the process of becoming ordained, what are some mistakes you've seen as people go through the process?

I think his explanation of mega churches is wrong. The people that were gathered in Jerusalem were gathered there from many different parts of the world for the annual feast of Pentecost. It's like Muslims today gather in Meca for their annual pilgrimage. These people, when they were born again, hung around a little while to learn about this new faith before eventually having to return to their own cities and countries. They weren't Jerusalem dwellers. Good estimates of the entire population of Jerusalem put it at maybe 25,000 people. This was the headquarters of the Pharisees and the Jewish religion. As big as Pentecost was, everybody, didn't become a follower of Christ. We see that later, the Jewish leaders beat up Peter and John and told them not to preach Jesus (Acts 4-6). There's any indication that the Christians took over the temple or were allowed to use it to preach Christ. The facts he presents are not logical.
Don't be so quick to bash all Mega Churches especially when Jesus fed thousands in one setting!
When I hear “mega church” I don’t quite associate the term with the size so much as the nature of it. A Catholic church in a metroplex can have a large amount of people, but I don’t assign the term megachurch to it because most people associate the term with churches run by preachers of questionable faith and teachings who teach profit and prosperity over Jesus’ word and take the Lord’s name in vain and fooling people with false warnings of demons in places they’re not and performing false miracles. Wolves in sheeps’ clothing who host Starbucks in their premises and don’t “Give to God what belongs to God.”
Many would come in the last day saying I am Christ so in that sense these ponies are biblical
All mega churches are just a corporation. With most of them teaching about prosperity, wealth, and richness on earth, instead of salvation
He is correct. But please remember that the invisible (i.e. true) church is a small subset of the visible church. It's likely in any church that a significant number of their members are not genuine believers. But God knows who are his and every believer should carefully evaluate their faith to see if it is genuine - the bible provides instruction on how to do this.
A lot of lost people get attracted to false gospel and human wisdom, if this so called mega churches start preaching the truth I don't think they will still be as mega as they are.
These mega churches use trickery not Biblical preaching of God's word and Jesus sacrifice for our sin.
Mega churches and charismatic churches are
