But if the cutting is cold, then it's in line with the show's title... ...But I do agree with you. With this and also Letterman's new show, it feels like the editors are just going to town for no particular reason.
If the whole show was just slowed down and given a more relaxed tone, it would be so great!! Like the music just makes it feel as though it's constantly moving when I just want to hear the responses :/
I don't know about 'rip off' really. There are a LOT of actual rip-off attempts where the whole point is the hot wings. There is room for more than one food-based interview channel, and both hosts are great so I'm just happy that the concept is a winner.
Anyone else see 0:30 the eyebrow raise when Shawn realized this show is a copy of his own "Cold Cuts where we pile on the meat, cheese and questions"...."hot ones a show with hot wings and even hotter questions"
Don't ever change mr. Roker. Been watching you since I was little with my mother and your weight loss back then has inspired me to lose weight myself recently since I rediscovered you on hot ones. Being a bartender nowadays and working late unfortunately makes me miss your morning show. Although, your hot ones episode is def part of my top 3. Hope to meet you sometime in this lifetime to shake your hand. Keep it up and def use less mayo next time.
Hating mayo on sandwiches is a thing? I would understand it with a hamburger or hot sandwich (even though depending the sandwich I would use mayo anyway) but I thought Mayo on a cold cut sandwich was pretty standard....it is here in the midwest at least. A stock sandwich from about anywhere even the national chains (Jimmy Johns/Subway etc...) have mayo
I get mayo on my burgers... bacon, lettuce, cheese, pickles, mayo... NO onions (love grilled onions, hate raw onions, I think the grilling breaks down the harsher oils)...
Not gonna lie, the interaction between these two is great. I'd love to see more Al Roker-Sean Evans stuff, as it's a really great "old media" and "new media" interaction thing.
I'm glad they were able to 'borrow' the format for Al to boost his internet presence. Keep up the good work, I do think these 3 episodes have been pretty good.
Not bad, need it to be like hot ones, make it more relaxed, no music just sound effects so it doesnt feel rushed. Its just episode 3 so there's room for improvement
Aussie guy here I have to reiterate how awesome *Chickensalt* is you have never tasted great chips or fries until you have had it smothered with chickensalt it's sooooo bloody good.
I like the video before I warched the video...Because of Sean...🤣🤣😂😂😂(He is from Chicago) and I love his enthusiasm to hosting and his enthusiasm on this show)
You know, these days a lot of the younger generations are favoring online media rather than traditional. Here we have a personality from the TV medium and one from the online medium that really mesh well together. What I'm trying to say, you could put these two in a show and hit a home run.
I get that. His personality is kind of like that, if that's what you're referring to, but he seems enthusiastic. If it's because he doesn't seem to like wings or thinks it's kind of a weird thing, there's more to that. He's said in other interviews they were basically trying a lot of things, so far as content, and this is what stuck. So, I think that's a kind of self-aware irony. I think he's nervous too. The thing is though, I kind of need that with Al Roker. I've enjoyed him from since I was pretty young, but it's like he does lines of coke between cuts. I think they kind of balance each other out.
Hey NBC, tell your editors that Al Roker isn't an American national treasure. Cause Nick Aldis Aka Magnus is THE National Treasure, and that's just a fact.
AL AND SEAN SHOULD SWITCH JOBS FOR A DAY
The editors need to chill with all the cutting. The interview is entertaining enough you don't need to cut every 2 seconds.
Cap cant be unseen and now annoyed
But if the cutting is cold, then it's in line with the show's title...
...But I do agree with you. With this and also Letterman's new show, it feels like the editors are just going to town for no particular reason.
Life is good if we're worrying about camera cuts in a RUclips video.
Or do we?
Cold "cuts"
Sean being a weatherman certainly would explain his hand gesture game
Wow this is incredibly accurate.
💯
9:33 I love how Sean casually grabs the Hot Ones sauce and faces it toward the camera away from the other sauces! Ha!
always be playin'
I love how Al Roker's subtitle is "National Treasure"
If the whole show was just slowed down and given a more relaxed tone, it would be so great!! Like the music just makes it feel as though it's constantly moving when I just want to hear the responses :/
Gravity Joker I agree. And I think Al needs to calm down a little bit and not be so fake.
Agreed. This seems like we've got to squeeze this in before we go to commercials.
I put it to .75 its actually really nice tbh
Welcome to a rip off of a popular internet show with today's guest the host of that show...
I don't know about 'rip off' really. There are a LOT of actual rip-off attempts where the whole point is the hot wings. There is room for more than one food-based interview channel, and both hosts are great so I'm just happy that the concept is a winner.

LMAO, Great catch on that one. Sean knows what's up.
He was like... Well then.
copied the hot ones set with the black back drop curtain
Id still rather watch sean and hot ones. The answers the heat brings r better than anything
Where you at spice lords???
hi
Don't indulge him in this.
We have to change "spice lords". It sounds so corny and I hope Sean quits using it.
@@3p1cand3rs0n Capsaicinners?
Right here daddy
Don't ever change mr. Roker. Been watching you since I was little with my mother and your weight loss back then has inspired me to lose weight myself recently since I rediscovered you on hot ones. I like that Al and Sean don't hate mayo like so many people aggressively do. 😂
Every time I go to Subway the lady skimps on the mayo and I'm like "you're not understanding me right now sister when I say extra mayo".
Kang Kim Yes girl, you're a woman after my own heart!
Hating mayo on sandwiches is a thing? Fallon HATES mayo.... I want to see him forced to eat a large tablespoon of mayo if he loses a game...
I get mayo on my burgers... bacon, lettuce, cheese, pickles, mayo... NO onions (love grilled onions, hate raw onions, I think the grilling breaks down the harsher oils)...
The background music is too loud guys.
Agreed.
Not gonna lie, the interaction between these two is great. I'd love to see more Al Roker-Sean Evans stuff, as it's a really great "old media" and "new media" interaction thing.
Whats Al Roker's next internet show? Bad Mythical Evening...
Sean needs his own tv show at this point
This feels like an internet show for old people.
So true!! LOL you know grandma is like I love Al. So this is what my grandson is into nowadays. Oh timmy!
Haha truee
sean evans here with the mayonnaise sandwich
So they rip off “Hot Ones” and then have Sean on the show ...This is a whole new level of savage
Our boy Sean Evans the G.O.A.T making moves
Funny that you invite the host of the show you ripped off...
A show with sandwiches vs a show with progressively hot wings. Cold cuts is much of a rip off of hot ones as much as the five rips off of the View.
Isn't it advertising the other show though?
I'm glad they were able to 'borrow' the format for Al to boost his internet presence. Keep up the good work, I do think these 3 episodes have been pretty good.
oh man these two are magical together
Not bad, need it to be like hot ones, make it more relaxed, no music just sound effects so it doesnt feel rushed. Its just episode 3 so there's room for improvement
Sean seems like a real genuine down to earth guy
Two of my favorite people doing what I love. Great show!
How could Rick Ross own wing stop franchises and never appear on this show!?!?
weslegna Because he isn't the real Rick Ross
Didn't know RUclips was so opinionated... fake is fatter so.. still wins :P
this is almost the same interview that they did on Hot Ones -.-
I know I was kind of bummed.
But far less entertaining. Sean didn't roast a camera guy like Al did to Bill.
Is there a way to watch this without the hideous background music?
That outro was hilarious! Thanks for the great work Al.
I love this segment!
7:04 Al Roker.exe stopped working
Don't need so much music during the show
Aussie guy here I have to reiterate how awesome *Chickensalt* is you have never tasted great chips or fries until you have had it smothered with chickensalt it's sooooo bloody good.
I like the video before I warched the video...Because of Sean...🤣🤣😂😂😂(He is from Chicago) and I love his enthusiasm to hosting and his enthusiasm on this show)
Oh the Irony... The TODAY SHOW ripping off the HOT ONES concept.
The today show has been doing food demos on screen way before the internet started.
I'm getting a headache with these quick jump cuts. Chill.
Mike Nissan Lol the editor was def doing too much
You know, these days a lot of the younger generations are favoring online media rather than traditional. Here we have a personality from the TV medium and one from the online medium that really mesh well together. What I'm trying to say, you could put these two in a show and hit a home run.
Alexander Blanton I don't like the other dude. it seems like he is not really interested. hates his job.
I get that. His personality is kind of like that, if that's what you're referring to, but he seems enthusiastic. best respect the research sean evans does
Go, Sean, Go!
"I can see in your eyes you don't agree" 😂
Both of these men are national treasures.
Seems like a good show. Making sandwiches with Al!
Great interview!
Al Roker is always such a lovely host!!!
Al and Sean are just adorable.
eating cornbeef without mustard hurts my heart
This is surprisingly good.
Sean Rocks!
Sean is just the Best !!
✌️❤️😁. 🐥
Along with Al of coarse
I adore Sean Evans. He's so cute.
Myyyy man Sean evammmmmsssss I lovr you brother
Omg i like Al humorous seg-way hahaha
Sean Evans face when al puts mayo on his sandwich
Al Roker is an angel that must be protected at all costs!
Al is a guy after my own heart as far as the deep dish goes.
This show is my first time seeing so roeckrr he da boi I love you
Seans has great comedic chops
Al. We need new episodes! Are you doing this again?
Good stuff!
the ending had me dead
Let me be clear: My thumbs up was for Sean and Sean alone. Representing Hot Ones.
Keep with the RUclips and internet shows AL, Its the next big thing get on board now.
Yay Sean! 😁
I really like this show.
Just a wide angle would be great, thanks.
I liked it!
i gotta agree, Charlize is definitely in my top 5 of Hot Ones
Love AL
That sandwich looks so good!
Sean Evans and Al Roker, you missed the best pun at at 14:34 ... "Meatier-ology"
Sean needs to get Weird Al on his show.
I love the hot ones show
Hot Ones Wing Hut coming soon!!!!! Put it in Vegas Sean youll make a killing!!
krupt krupt ACTUALLY?
Sean is this generations Steve from Blue's Clues
Can I just say as a viewer… That music is very distracting because it’s a little too loud
I’d go to one of those restaurants if he opened one
Sean evans the goat
❤Al
i would definitely eat that sandwich!!
I love how your were on hot ones. Now you invited Sean to your show! Awesome man!
awesome video
Hey NBC, tell your editors that Al Roker isn't an American national treasure.
Cause Nick Aldis Aka Magnus is THE National Treasure, and that's just a fact.
Sean Evans is the homie
Please lower the background music. :/
"…he's the hot one, I am the lukewarm one…" 😅😅
I wish Mr Rogers could have done Hot Ones
#SeanEvans have CHASE THE HEAT from RUclips on......Johnny Scoville would eat 20 wings ALL tossed freshly in The Last Dab....he's a maniac.
I keep debating turning this off just because of this trash background music. Please change it or get rid of it
Jared Swanson You got a problem with jazz music or something?
it's too loud.
Al Roker "Hot One" lol
The music sounds like they should be running circles through the kitchen, not chilling out talking about food
Someone in that studio really disapproved of the amount of mayo Sean used
First time watching.... all I could think was “I’m hoping all this food is going to be donated or eaten by the staff” good interview tho
Omg "cold cuts" haha
Just for having Shaun on you get my subscription, that and Al, duh.
Holy mayo sandwich Batman!
Al must be depressed looking at all that glorious food, knowing he can only eat two or three bites of it.
I got to say I'm a groupie ..
Sean is awesome!
All hail to the Kiaser bun :)
"Its a little like a Reuben"....what??? The only thing in common is corned beef...no rye, no sauerkraut, no Swiss, no Russian dressing
MAN A HOT ONES RESTAURANT WITH NOTHING BUT 10 WINGS AT A TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
