I ordered cards from Tangem almost two weeks ago and they have yet to ship them to me. I have sent them emails asking where my purchase is with no response smh.
Casey can you talk about the fees and this runes episode? I have seen fees as high as 1800$ for moving 400$ in btc. How someone on a main exchange like binance or coinbase with less than 1k$ of btc in each can navigate this?

What is the significance of the difficulty adjustment block number reversed?
I plan to take advantage of the Bitcoin as leading indicators predict above 30% later this year, my only issue is how to properly allocate a large stock/bond portfolio for substantial gains at minimum risk.

Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Adriana catherine

JC what program do you use for looking at Crypto accuracy and trading?
I realized that the secret to making a million is saving for a better investment. I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks and made about $246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded again and now I am rounding up close to a million.
I think it's all time high is gonna go more like three hundred and seventy five thousand. I think there's just so much more people into the crypto space Now that will fuel the hype and cause the bubble to go evermore higher Especially if we have a real dollar crisis And people frantically try to escape to a more trustworthy store of value
Might be a dumb question but can you transfer Bitcoin from email to tangem wallet?
In the previous halving, the price of BTC went from approx $17k (previous ATH) to $69k, which is about a 4x gain. If this pattern holds true, then the new ATH would be 4x of the previous ATH of $69k, which would put the new ATH around $276k. I'd be happy with anything above $250k per BTC.

This halving was different, hard (tight) money has dominated the liquidity that has historically pushed Bitcoin down, but after the halving, Bitcoin drifted sideways. With the prospect of CBDCs, Bitcoin is viewed more as an escape hatch. And with the introduction of the ETF, Bitcoin gained liquidity, regardless of high interest rates. The "corner" we've turned is the divorcing of Bitcoin from the legacy financial system. Halving events have been a celebration of Bitcoin's survival, but that celebration is less and less surprising with each halving. Bitcoin is again a trillion dollar asset, a healthy alternative to the collapse of the legacy financial system.

The ETF's buyers are not retailors like us. They r institutions, soviet funds, money managers , Pension funds etc. Do u think they will sell their BTC ETF's and rotate the money in to altcoins? The important point here is that they can't do that even if they want to...
With more interest in meme coins, it has become a wild card during this time and could possibly surpass altcoins.

BTC Dominance will last longer as older money from IRAs and mega corps comes in. I think if and only if we have a currency and global economic crisis at the same time.and global currency printers fire up we will see a BTC cycle like the first ones.
How does halving affect transaction fees? What if fees get so high users will not want to transact?

I was under the impression that the block time is a 10 minute target. So losing half the miners will not make block times become 20 minutes. Difficulty adjusts to maintain the 10 minute block time. More or less miners on the network will not change the block time. This would assume an unreliable 4 year cycle and 50% block reward reduction. Likewise, if the minung power doubled or tripled, this does not reduce the block time. You can't mine blocks twice or thrice as fast. It's a set schedule. Miners getting fewer rewards, will force them to sell for higher prices. People cannot get to these prices if heavy holders are willing and able to dump their loads for cheaper. This will force miners out of the network. Miners need a stash to bridge the gap of time between the larger bag holders willing to sell at cheaper prices.

When bitcoin drops 5% alt coins drop 15-20% but take 3 times longer to recover loss then bitcoin. Alt coins are a gamble and most people don’t know how or when to take profits

Unfortunately the cost to produce one btc is more now. Many miners will go under unless the price exceeds their costs. Casey hits on this starting at 4:20. But; bcuz there is only so much to mine the etfs will buy up all they can. That's when the price & the cost to mine will kinda level off. Get it while you can!
Kinda disagree with the bitcoin dominance theory because of the etfs. Altcoin market cap is currently nowhere

Less money is going to switch into altcoins since a lot of the new money flowing is from ETFS and won’t rotate into alts. You know this 🤔

I think we touch 100k fairly soon then drop back down to mid 60k til fall when we finally go parabolic past 180k around Oct Nov.
I think after breaking $100k, it's far more likely to see $125-150k than $60-70k.
The Hongkong ETF launched recently, but won't start trading for another week or so and there's another 20 or so ETFs coming online in less than 30 days.
There's pretty much no BTC to buy. With such a hard and limited asset, it's hard to consider a drop in price when there are so many powerful buyers and not enough BTC to go around.

IMO, Bitcoin dominance increases for at least the next two months. Altcoins will have to show a greater capitulation before altcoin season begins. Also, altcoin season will be less pronounced than it was in the last two cycles.

A lot people don’t understand that beside the miners carrying out the transactions, other bitcoin nodes (none miner) will still operate all the transactions… I am one of them. So don’t listen to all the FUD !!!

I am new to crypto but have been an investor for 30 years. You seem fairly knowledgeable. I have two concerns. Crypto in most cases doesn’t appear to produce revenue. People invest in an item giving it capital and it sinks or swims. If crypto does produce revenue where can I find that info.2. Issuing more crypto dilutes existing investors does this concern you?
the thing that TA gurus don't seem to understand is that all indicators are lagging and following any set of indicators works until it doesn't, trading is more about mind set, if you stick to whatever your edge is even after your edge isn't working, you might eventually win, it's too easy to jump from one indicator to another when things go south, stick what you know and limit your losses
This time "may" be different. Do we really think that big money, now that it has easy access to Bitcoin, is going to rollover to altcoins? I don't think so. What may happen is while retail is rolling their funds over to altcoins to play that game the serious investors will just buy up all their Bitcoin without any intentions of ever selling them back into the market. A risk I am not willing to take. I will just stick with my boring Bitcoin investment and only double my money every year or so. You guys can have at the altcoins. Too risky for my taste.

Historically 3.618 Fibonacci level puts BTC at $204K - $210K. And thats with diminishing returns.
I think 200k is too optimistic.
