As an elder goth/alt person I really appreciate this type of video showing how thrift and DIY are way cooler and more sustainable than the glut of just consuming new fast fashion all the time. You have your own unique style and you are very creative.
I was a teenager and young adult in the 80's, I love the 80's still and the 90's. you don't have to be pierced you are still fabulous and to be perfectly honest I sometimes wish I hadn't gotten pierced. I like your hair it's almost like Robert Smith's! XXX
Loved all outfits, did capture the 80s vibe. My favorite was the first black outfit. But both black was my favorites together with the first red one. Over all great ones all of them! And don't excuse, if you use fake things. It's up to you if you want to pierc your body or not. It's still jewelry! You looked awesome. Thanks again for showing you don't have to be all black to have a goth look. That's so 80s! 🦇🖤🖤🖤🖤🦇
You really captured the vibe of the 80s here. 80s goth fashion and music is my favorite era. All the outfits look great! The second one and final one were my favorite. Great video as always Vane.
Nice one Vane, I'm more of a Metal head than Goth but I always admired Goth fashion and culture. Love the Leather-like pants and the red shirt, I'm still on the hunt for some good quality leather pants as of today. When it comes to decades tho, I'm more of a 90s guy. It's the most balanced decade.
Vane~ Your style I really enjoy!!!. The video, the music, everything- Just listening to your calm voice made me relaxed, and the title '80s' Inspired', living through the 80s, I had to check it out. Love the pictures on your wall. 🎩
I actually avoided getting this cut for the same reason and I'm so happy I just did it anyway! it's such a flattering cut I think it looks good on anyone❤
When you think about it, it's actually kinda weird and barbaric to punch bloody holes in ourselves just for the sake of adornment. "Fake piercings" are just like any other jewelry - a way to decorate your body.
I personally don’t think that piercings are barbaric really, seeing as 99% of the people getting them are consenting and know what they’re getting themselves into [and are also getting them from people who specialize in punching holes into skin LOL]. Humans endure pain for multitudes of reasons, and some of those reasons are for the sake of art. I think it’s artistic in itself to go through a painful experience in exchange for something of self expression, like a piercing or a tattoo. I’ll stop rambling now, but I felt the need to add onto this even though the comment was made 2 months ago.

Such great looks. I was a baby bat around '98, and my friends and I loved thrifting antique keys to put on necklaces. Thanks for the nostalgia trip!
