Had the pleasure of shooting on your squad yesterday and seeing your skills in action ! Great to review the match stages in the same order I shot it. Really appreciate the solid video and production work. Humor too ! Thanks ! !
Out there looking like a Texas Walter Sobchak. But seriously, what a cool match. Those stages had ALOT of different elements. I probably would've DQ'd on over half of them getting turned around, dumb violations, wrong procedure, etc. High five ✋️
Nice shooting. How did the bul perform over your staccato(or others, for that matter)? Has your favorite match gun changed, or could it seeing what the bul gave over the others?
From a shooting perspective - I like the Bul more than my XC in a couple ways - the grip, trigger and optics system. I like the fact my XC doesn’t dirty up the optic as much and isn’t as loud behind it. Tie goes to cost - the Bul is half as much.
Carry Optics? Didn't know I could run the ported Bul in carry optics division. Been told I had to run my Tac 5" pro as an Open gun. I'm new and much to learn but very curious about what-makes-what for the different divisions. This new version looks great though! 👌 Maybe I can save up for a 2nd 😁
They have a deep bench of volunteers in that club and it shows. The match production was top shelf. Its capped off with a meal at the end which rolls into an awards banquet
@@thearrogantmarksman that is awesome! I'm still sore from setup and tear down of a no-frills USPSA match yesterday so I certainly appreciate their effort!
I love how IDPA browke away from USPSA to be more tacticool, just to become a training ground for USPSA grand master to flex their skills and casually steal their trophies...
IDPA Carry Optics is now even more gamer than USPSA Limited Optics Literally no point to their existence anymore It stands for I Don't have Pistol Ability

Thanks for being a solid squaddie!
That big Lebowski Walter vest is epic. So good.
Looked like a very challenging match. Great stages!
Take away
Daisey Dukes, Tan lines , Miami Vice music . It doesn’t get much better than this 😊😊. Well done
Texas State IDPA Championship. Come for the shooting, stay for the sleeveless shirt and uncomfortably short shorts.
I assure you the shorts are very comfortable
Suns out guns out !💪🏻
Epic shred and suns out guns out vest super snazzy and dapper one might say! Looking for reviews on that Tac Pro and Spitfire.
tac pro this weekend - live on Patreon now.
Need More VLogs. Love the VLogs. Match Videos Good too.

It was a hard match
Be truthful... you only shoot IDPA for the attire ;)
Nicely done! Looked like a fun day.
I'll have you know I look like just as big an asshole at USPSA matches.
6th?! Nice work young man!!
Thanks!
Man she runs smooth!
Well done!
Nice shoot man!
Nice shooting.

@@thearrogantmarksman dang the tac pro takes down the XC wow that's crazy sir!
Awesome runs. 1500 extra points for vest labeling
What kind of vest is it?
No idea one my dad gave me thinking I would actually wear it because he wears them and loves them - not to hide a gun just have more pockets

Oh... think I know what it is. IDPA?
Not, USPSA? Okay... so many different things to learn. Still looks fun.
No ports for USPSA - but you could pay to fit a second barrel and get it ported and swap between games
@thearrogantmarksman, ah yes... That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
Some targets get two shots and some only get one....how do you know which is which?
they tell you at the beginning of the stage.
Do the Bul Armory Tac series have the firing pin block safety similar to a series 80 1911?
No - no firing pin block - trigger is about 2.5-3#
@@thearrogantmarksman Damn. That’s a great trigger for competition. Hairy for CCW. Thanks 😊
My brain is stuck just thinking about how much time went into setup on these stages.

How u feel about that Bul??? I’ve heard some outstanding things about it…
I like it a lot. It’s legit
Hey... What ever happen to that "Humble Guy"😂😂🤣🤣 Did he get drunk or sumthin' 🤷🏽♂🫡
If your gonna race might as well be a hyper car
is the new bul blaze idpa legal??
Unlikely due to width of magwell and safety
I don’t prefer to show my own match videos. I show this instead and say: This is what I did yesterday!

Literally no point to their existence anymore
It stands for I Don't have Pistol Ability
It’s the best pistol division dreamed up - whether you like their rule set or not is a different question
@thearrogantmarksman that's where I think PCSL comp division comes in. USPSA esque rule set and open minor gats.
Tails and a top hat next pls
you might be onto something
