Really cool, I’ve just got into home recording and totally struggling with drums but your video makes sense of it. As a guitar player, when you talk about strings and position, high and low always refer to pitch. The high e string is the highest in pitch, the low e string is the lowest in pitch, going up the neck is going up in pitch and going down the neck is down in pitch. “Hey play it up 2 frets”, “can you play that on a higher string?” you get it. Awesome vid, subscribed
This is honestly a great tutorial thanks a lot dude. If anyone wants to go on a bit of a deeper level on how to sound like BMTH though you might as well Nick Mavromatis' tutorials. While your tutorial is good on a basic level he goes deep on how to get everything sound perfect.
There is absolutely nothing wrong using midi in music, whether it be guitar or bass or drums etc. some guitarists are mad bc the midi sounds better than they do. I use midi bass and drums. I use mixwaves Mario duplantier for drums (most realistic drums I've heard, even better than the ones in this video) and Loki bass 2.
Niceeeeeee, I’m a noob with the software but good with guitar and bass /vocals So I’m taking baby steps Kuz I need to learn ,to move forward. Really sick video tho. ❤
Hey! So for kontakt guitars u want to use external amps cause the built in ones aren’t that good tbh. I’ve been trying to use the built in ones and they are good for a few certain specific sounds. The end result sounds good either ways, keep up the good work and thanks for the bass rack!
the direction Bmth is going... the direction they think is the NEX GEN ERA... is literally just Linkin Park in the 90s. I've noticed other bands headed in that exact same direction as well, like From First to Last. lol.
3:45 The way you've programmed that is actually not the '6th' string/low string. You've instead managed to pick a note that's somewhere in the middle of the guitar's range.
Where do you tend to find samples? Drums, risers, etc. I know you can pay for them on something like Splice, but do you have a go-to that's free? I'd just love to know how you go about getting samples.
Im being told to say that I enjoyed this and will be planning a day to implement these techniques into my workflow thanks for another banger I willingly watched ash!
Bro just made LosT Part 2
more like part 3, 'cause top 10 statues that cried blood is the part 2
@@DARON121 10 statues isn't that simmilar to lost as this is, the intro lead sounds like just sampled from lost and rearrenged
