- More than 20,000 British kitchens are graced by a bespoke hand-forged Lacanche range cooker. Made in Burgundy, the "Aga of France" also lasts a lifetime. The difference between Lacanche and Aga lies in control; the French oven has a greater batterie of gadgetry, with powerful, controllable heat. Come and see what a Lacanche can do for you.
We have a chocolate brown CITEAUX in our kitchen here in Tuscany and love it. It fits so well with the kitchen we hand designed. The cherry on top was going to the factory and getting a tour which we have on our page. Worth every penny
For any Americans watching who didn't understand the reference to an oven with a grill, what Brits call a "grill" is what we call a "broiler."
When I inherit my grandparent's house and renovate it to live in, I plan to install the Cormatin model, in the old kitchen fireplace. I love the style of these ranges and the many colour options. Plus, it's ideal with the service centre being in the south as I am.
Excellent review thank you
What abour purchase and serviceability in Zimbabwe?
thought the oven looked so cool until i realized there's not a window to see if your food is ready.
looks cool though.
Slice that’s a fair comment however most high end cookers are windowless and in all honesty by simply bending down and attempting to look through a dark window you can’t get a true idea of the progress. No window also makes cleaning much easier. I’ve currently got a Rangemaster Elise 110 but looking to upscale hence watching this 👍
@@futurenewmedia I heard they even cook better because of the lack of that glass the whole interior is sealed which gives food a better flavour.
*Slice* "...there's not a window to see if your food is ready."
The appearance of a food's surface as viewed through a heat-resistant glass window is a poor indicator of its readiness. Time and temperature are the proper indicators.
How does this compare to La Cornue?
I wonder how many people buy one of these, thinking that it is a La Cornue?
@@tuffandco3745 Well, they’re both French.
Red/gold knobs and a La Cornue is much better for my needs sorry that puke green is awful too~
