Hey, btw those links in the description do not work. I just bought a medeco lock to practice. It didn’t come with a key and the plug doesn’t move. Brand to this and clueless. Can You help?
Why are some of the top pins silver and smooth and others brass with lips? Does it matter which way the brass top pins are inserted? On mine, two of the longer brass pins are asymmetrical with a fatter lip on one end.
The only thing I don’t like about Mececo is their shipping policy and rates. They won’t ship everything at the same time, so you have to pay separate shipping. In my last order shipping was a third of the overall price. When Customers ask why the service and components are so expensive, I flat out tell them about their policy. Also in the last shipment of keyMark SFIC, 3 of the cores had brass shavings in the chambers and 4 cores had holes drilled too shallow and the cores would not drop into the housings. I’m getting to the point where I’ll continue to service our existing systems, but I’m going to start recommending alternatives for future customers.
