Is there a reason why it’s been out 2 years, and you still haven’t added video controls? 30 minute videos with no fast forward or even a pause button is pretty lame. Also, no way to make a dedicated menu hot key, so you don’t have to memorize 6 different button combinations to exit each system? Also, the gratuitous developer logos on every single screen. We get it, you made the game lol
Shenmue is one of the greatest games ever. I love when you have to go save Nozomi towards the end of the game and you borrow your friends motorcycle to go save her! I hold back tears during that part of the game!
@@pokey4200 Absolutely! The pacing of Shenmue can be slow at times but there is a lot of payoff if you can learn how to play the game the way it's meant to be played and enjoy the story! It's probably the only game I have played that had me in tears.

The dreamcast had native mpeg support. I used to use dreamcast movie maker to encode dvd rips and burn them to cdrs. You could even make them self booting. I still have some of my old dreamcast movie discs.
I used to burn mini CDs with emulators and my favorite games because they looked unique and didn’t require all 700MB. Heck, I watched all of Cowboy Bebop burned on a Dreamcast VCD disc before I had a PS2.

So I have the obvious Super Nintendo and genesis TMNT games on there, along with some for the NES and GB/GBC, plus the arcade version, etc, too. It's just the best little all-in-one system for all of this stuff for me personally. The games all seem to run perfectly too. In fact, it's the only console I have connected up to my TV right now. It's just so convenient. And I really love that Super Nintendo controller for all these retro games. But this collection looks very cool on Dreamcast too, with some really nice bonus stuff.
I don't get why everyone's got a hard on over porting things to a console that's been dead for over 20 years. Of course the DC can handle all the games in the Cowabunga Collection, but why? I'll play it on my PS5 and enjoy things like being able to play online with other people.

They totally should have put some episodes and other media on the official cowabunga collection. So strange that they did not. So strange of the day did not have a talented person to sell whoever holds the rights on the idea of doing so in order to among other things Garner additional interest to these classic cartoons by giving away some episodes on this collection. Where would be a more appropriate place to include such things.
Does this port not come with the Arcade versions or Tmnt and Turtles in Time?? If not, that’s a bummer. Would have been perfect with the four players ports on the Dreamcast.

What I want to know is why is nobody pressing Sony for answers on why they aren't producing adequate stock of their disc drive. I would have had a Pro already if I could secure a drive at a reasonable price.
The overall presentation is nice, but using the 2003 designs in a game collection based on the 87 cartoon/Mirage comics irritates me more than it probably should.

the great part about shenmue 2 on the dreamcast version is you can load your file from the 1st game and have all your upgrades

Man snes emulation has been an issue on the dreamcast for 20 years. At least now it has sound and better than 80% speed lol.
