Thanks for this tutorial. I am a new CNC user and will start cutting soon. I am just doing my homework and am very happy to have found your lesson. Great job.

Thanks Mick. I'm hoping this will help people that don't understand how the posts work. I don't know if I advise most people to write one, but as long as they save it as a different name, I guess they can always go back to the original if things don't work right.

Good information.... Do you know how to setup the post to output on G03 for a full circle? Mine currently outputs full circles in quadrants or four G03's to cut a circle.

No, sorry. To my knowledge there is no way. As far as WinCNC goes, you can always do G3I2 to make a 4 inch circle with the starting/ending point directly to the left of the circle. You can use G3J2 to make the same circle except the starting point at the top of the circle. By the way, G3 is a counterclockwise arc, G2 is clockwise. One more thing, G03 and G3 are the same. G02 and G2 likewise. Of course, Vectric can't do this...

+Frankmali17 You're welcome. I'll have to do a new video sometime, I've figured out a lot since I did this video. But there is still lots of good information here. Glad you like it.

don't change the line number start and increment to 1.. if you do that you won't be able to insert a custom line after its being generated.. they set it to 5 so you can enter lines in between..Thanks for the information by the way . very helpul

Line numbers aren't even necessary. They're there for your/my convenience. I set them to 1 so that I can instantly find a line in the file when my controller tells me it found an error on that line. If I add a line, I won't add a line number, my error is still very near that line # when I scroll down to it. If I leave it at 5, I can't use that method.
      Thanks for the reply.
