    Great bloopers segment!
Looks-wise, I'm with your family on the rock tamers. Those people have taste.

Great work on the fit out, one thing I would of loved to see would of been another weigh in just to see how much weight was added and how much spare you have. Looking forward to the travels, cheers 🍻

Thanks Luke! We were hoping to get it over the weighbridge prior to leaving, as we were curious as well. But unfortunately ran out of time. Will take it over once back though. Thanks for watching mate 🍻

That’s an awesome setup! We had Titan drawers in our Ranger for 5 years and we’re still going strong when we sold it! They went up to the Cape and beyond no worries! The only issue was the locking pin for the fridge slide which I replaced! I’ll most likely get them again in the patrol! 🤙🏽

That's awesome to hear mate! I have to say the fridge pin is the only thing that we struggle with but hey if that is all you have to replace it is not bad hey! Any news on when you will get the patrol yet?

    Hey mate, nice 200 series.
Can I recommend a mod thats a must have and is probably the best modification a 200 can get.
A Richards lock up kit and ultraguage. As the transmission is out of mind out of sight, you would be blown away how hot the oil gets. Not towing on my 200 before lockup up kit in sand My torque converter would reach 110 degrees and not long after the Pan temps would follow. Now locked up 53 degrees on the sand. Highway the same using sports mode and low speed lockup. Also engine breaking and over all long jeopardy of the oil and transmission.
Teamed up with the Ultragauge you can monitor it and egt temps and adjust your driving to keep it all runing fantastic. I cant stress enough how fantastic this mod is. Your car especially towing will love you for it.
I can only imagine how many deisels out there towing with no idea theyre shortning the life of the car. Plenty of stories out there of people cooking there 4x4.
    Happy travelling mate.

Hey Mate, cheers for the feedback and info. Our current trailer is 2.3T, even so a lockup kit is on the cards. I'm currently using an obd2 dongle paired to an old phone to monitor temps ect. I also have the torque converter lock selected as one of the things I monitor. The temps deffinatly get higher than I'd like (TC110, Pan90). It won't lock until 100kph, and unlocks on steep inclines. Dead flat roads, towing at 100kph, she's sweet (75 degrees). The biggest spike I've found is between 80-100kph.
      Cheers for watching.
      Craig.

If you decide to get a lock up. You can lock the converter in s4 s5 s6 while towing. You'll find s4, and s5 is all you'll need to use. Trans temps will sit sweet all the time, even up hills. Take it easy m8

So keen to see ya trip on the road, very jealous😁😁😁
Don't dismiss the draws, I run 3 of them and at times, dare I say, had them loaded, other then something getting stuck in the back of them, which makes for good entertainment for onlookers watching you throw stuff around cos you can't open the bloody things, I can't fault them. Pitty ya can't attach pic's to comments.
Good luck with ya trip, be watching 👍👍👍
    Cheers Andy🍺🍺🍺

Cheers mate can't wait to share the trip with you. Hope you have been getting out and about 🍻

Good video, from memory you didn't have diff breathers on your Everest, was there a reason it didn't need it but the 200 series does?
Jealous of your trip, maybe in 5 years for us
PS rock tamers are great but come on they don't look good... 😂

    • @RoaminintheRobbo
      @RoaminintheRobbo  Год назад +1

First of all, you Sir, are uncultured...those tamers are awesome 😎🤣.
The standard diff breathers in the Everest were already up in the engine bay, so no need to get them lifted.
      Thanks for watching mate!
