I would love to see a bgs submission selling flip where you show your profit. I feel like it would really help people visualize how they can get a great return
Like there isn’t enough flipping in the hobby right now the market is extremely inflated and when it crashes back down to reality we’ll have flipping to thank for why most of us overpaid on these graded cards
You can look up the values on eBay raw vs graded to see how much the difference would be. I don’t like to show any profit or flipping stuff too much personally but the return can be good

I will put any BGS quad 9.5 or better up against a PSA 10 and compare them side by side.. And you said it exactly right in your video! 90% of the time the centering will be better on the Beckett graded card.. I can't tell you how many times I have seen PSA 10's with bad centering and said that would be lucky to get a 9 from BGS!! And finally I would just like to remind people that a Beckett 10 is the pinnacle of the hobby.. Especially a black label 10.. Any Beckett 10 will outsell a PSA 10 by leaps and bounds!! We are talking double and triple the money that a PSA 10 would get.. The PSA loyalists usually say "Yeah but those are so hard to get and are few and far between".. Over the past two years I have submitted probably about 120-150 cards to BGS, and have gotten back about 12-15 10's from them.. Now in the last year that I have become better at selecting cards for grading, I get back more 10's now then I did in the beginning.. I got back 4 10's one time on a single 15 card submission... I tell PSA loyalists, you can't get back a Beckett 10 by submitting to PSA... End of story.. PS... PSA started grading cards about 7 years before Beckett did.. So they have loyalty from older collectors because of that also.. When I was a kid back in the day (pre-internet), the Beckett price guide was second only to the Bible.. Lol.. We always had to have the latest copy.. ;)

why did you grade them with beckett if you plan on sending some of them to PSA? Were you hoping for some BGS 10s just curious what your thought process was. Personally i would have just sent them all to PSA because they're a lot more valuable. I know not everyone loves PSA but they do command a premium. That's just the way it is i guess.

This was an awesome and very informative video! I'm close to getting some cards graded and wasn't sure if I should go through PSA "which would take months" or Beckett. Personally, I like the grading process better with Beckett more, but PSA does raise the value more. A 9.5 Luca from Beckett sells for half what a PSA 10 goes for. However, if u get screwed with a PSA 9, the card goes for less than a BGS 9.5. To be safe, I'd probably do BGS, and if my cards get a 9.5, then I'd have PSA grade them if I wanted to sell. Btw, I live in Jersey as well! 🙌 I'm in the Burlington County area. Oh, one more thing. Have u had any luck finding cards at Target or Walmart? I've been to about 15 in total and only 1 Walmart had 2 fat packs of 2020 Contenders last week. Smh..
I just got back a LeBron 2003-04 Topps chrome rookie refactor from Beckett. I don’t know much about cards, I inherited the LeBron card. Grades came back at: Center - 8.5 Corners - 9.5 Edges - 8.0 Surface - 3.0 Overall - 4.0 Obviously, I am extremely disappointed. I looked at the card closely and never noticed any issues with the surface. I am reading on the Internet now that I should’ve cleaned the surface. Do you have any recommendations as to how I should proceed? Also, what could’ve been wrong with the surface for it to come back so low? The first time I ever sent a card to get graded and I feel beyond defeated. What would it even sell for at such a half ass grade? Any input from people that know the ins and outs would be greatly appreciated. BTW, I subbed and thought your video was informative, thank you.

It's stupid prices Zion is over rated. Short arms and will end up an injury prone player like Blake Griffin who is mainly a dunker. If you have Zion cards sell now while prices are sky high cause they will only free fall from now on

Sending cards in to someone who does submission groups saves a lot of money on shipping and grading cost if you have only a few cards to send in

I’ve pulled like 3 nice gradable cards this year. All of my optic cards are too off center and my mosaic cards have surface issues.
Mosaic is known for issues since so much of it was mass produced in a hurry
