  • Sleeping with the eggs
When it’s 20 below and everyone’s circling you like vultures for some warming breakfast, you gotta go a li’l simpler. This is an easier version of our sweet potato frittata with goat’s cheese that we do during our summer kayaking trips.
Rob had to put on the hero cape and snuggle a frozen bottle of eggs throughout the nite for this one!
Sweet potato & eggs on toast
    Sweet potato
    Umami spice mix
    Eggs
    Multi-grain toast
    Pumpkin seeds
Slice sweet potato and fry until soft, add some umami powder at the end.
Tip! Natural umami flavours & spices in a mix is an easy and lightweight way to take your dish up a notch.
Toast the bread. Fry up eggs and scramble them in the pan. Season.
Serve toast topped with eggs, sweet potato slices and pumpkin seeds.

Nice video, friend. I use the same stove for a lot of cold weather trips, and I much prefer it over the xkg. Yourself?

Agree, a lot easier to deal with and so much quieter. We our own version of a trangia stove with the whisperlite as burner, a homemade windprotection and a 4,5 liter pot from MSR. Turned out great. you can check out the video here -> ruclips.net/user/shortsg3uyTMNb85s?feature=share
