Hey Jacob quick question is it metal or aluminum? Are they a huge difference weight wise?

This bumper I opted for Steel! However they offer aluminum which is WAY lighter but aluminum can be trickier to find someone to weld it for you or weld yourself!

What keeps the tire carrier open when you aren’t parked on flat ground. This is the only con in my opinion plus the ones you mentioned
Maybe you can add some small gas shocks

Tire carrier is held by the door! That’s never been an issue, the gas can side is the pain in the ass!
