Nice video. Only 2 things I noted was not chalking the opposite side tire, and if you used a hard rubber insert for the jack pad with a slot cut for the jack points on the car. Some factory scissor jacks have them. It prevents bending up the slot wings, if im using the correct terms
2 things you did that I didn't like seeing on the tire change. First, on those studless wheels, some cars use different studs for the spare than the regular tire. I know Mercedes Sprinters are one type that does. Putting the originals on with a spare can cause severe tire damage. When I was an EMT we had Mercedes Sprinter ambulances and the tow company that changed our flat ended up buying a new axle because he used the original studs instead of the ones for the spare. It cost the tow company over $10,000 to fix and it took our ambulance out of service. Always check those studs. Secondly, torquing lugs with an impact isn't best practice. If you want to do that, get yourself a set of torq stix. They will help and they are cheap compared to potentially over torquing. Good video though.
Where are the spare tire studs located at? I'm asking bc I'm interested in doing this line of work but didn't know about some cars having different studs for spares
Some of the new cars use the same studs, most car mfg. came up with the solution to the studs to avoid damage cause people weren't using the spare studs
What are you using to record . I do roadside assistance too and want to start recording I like your quality and like how it’s seem mobile to to catch different angles
Don’t like your music I’d rather not listen to your music all I wanna listen to you talk about how you mock yourself what you’re doing how long you’ve been doing what you did before you were doing it that’s what we’d rather hear we do not need to hear music by an artist
Nice video I am full time towtruck driver and I have my own roadside assistance business on the side but do not do gas calls for my own business
