Death - Scavenger of Human Sorrow Cover (Including Solo's)

- I decided to record the Death album 'The Sound of Perseverance' from start to finish. I recorded both Rhythm and Lead guitars, Left and Right and everything in-between. This is a video of me playing one of my fave albums as a personal tribute to Chuck Schuldiner. I learned the majority of this album by ear, I picked up a few riffs from watching Death videos and other RUclips related madness. I am a self taught guitarist so I do apologise for any slight discrepancies. R.I.P Chuck your music will long out live our lives and more!!
I will be doing more, I am thinking about Human or ITP

excellent! you are such a Death fan, you can probably do a cover where you play guitar with the left hand and drums with the right if you really wanted.

@GoodOldDeathMetal I did man, I recorded all the guitars and just turned the actual Death recording down in volume.

i used to play guitar but i quitted, i love metal (thrash/death) and i was always trying to learn songs from bands like kreator, sodom, slayer, death........ i practiced everyday for at least one hour, but i could never nail the songs, the only solo i could play was "paranoid" from black sabbath :P
then i thought that maybe guitar wasn´t for me

Hey bro, I need your opinion. Is Death a hard band to play? I mean i know some of them songs w/o the solos but if lets say i learn to play them as good as u do, will i be "good" guitarist?

not at all! .10s in D are quite flubby...i always use .11s in E standard and it's not that hard. it's a bit hard for legato playing but for all the rest it's just a matter of habit! :D

If you listen closely and watch him closely, you will see the very few small, subtle differences in a few small parts. He is really that good. Maybe you should pay closer attention and wear earphones when you listen to a cover before you make your comment.
