  • I decided to record the Death album 'The Sound of Perseverance' from start to finish. I recorded both Rhythm and Lead guitars, Left and Right and everything in-between. This is a video of me playing one of my fave albums as a personal tribute to Chuck Schuldiner. I learned the majority of this album by ear, I picked up a few riffs from watching Death videos and other RUclips related madness. I am a self taught guitarist so I do apologise for any slight discrepancies. R.I.P Chuck your music will long out live our lives and more!!

You are amazing, I don't think I've heard anything as close to the original as this. Other people's covers are a little off, but you are almost never off. Chuck would be very proud!

@TheThrasherd Thanks sir. I use my Boogie Dual Rect, slap a SM57 infront of a 1 X 12 celestion , Tube Screamer and slight EQ in Cubase. Record ALL guitars and pan them accordingly. Hope that helps.

The riff at 3:47 is the entire reason I like this song. The rest of the song is pretty meh to me, but that one riff is just amazing. I wish it lasted longer >.
