Thank you for uploading. I adore _Mork & Mindy_ . (Funny story: When the SpaghettiOs commercial aired, I just finished eating some. How serendipitous! lol)
Gary Paul Gates' book "Air Time: The Inside Story of CBS News," had a brief mention of Overend - and one CBS News exec bluntly telling him, "You look like an armpit." According to the book, that was what led him to leave CBS - and join the LA Times where he would work for 28 years, the last several as Ventura County editor.
That TWA commercial was adorable. Ice Castles was a pretty sweet movie too. Saw it 4 years later when it came out on Showtime and again on ABC After School Special.
I remember not watching this show at first but hearing everyone at school doing the "Nanu Nanu!" and "Shazbott!" and having no idea what they were talking about. I eventually started watching and enjoyed it, although seeing it as an adult it peaked pretty early and then really struggled to maintain the level they had. I will say I liked the theme song variety more and more with each passing season. I'm still incredibly frustrated that it ended on a never-to-be-resolved cliffhanger.
the shick commercial was bill bixby and when mork was reading the superman comic book at that time superman when this episode aired was in movie theaters and in real life christopher reeve and robin williams were very good friends and in college when they were in theater together as well and it was inside joke when mork was making fun of superman
It should be noted that network staff announcer Ed Williams (who also handled local booth work at New York's WABC Channel 7) was of no relation to Robin Williams. Apparently Wally Parker who usually handled the Thursday evening shift was off that night.
I saw the Delta House episode. Well...at least a part of Barney Miller was included. Ok, Delta House was a little disappointing but seeing an original broadcast is a treat. Thank you!

Interesting to see Mork reading Superman, since Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve were best friends in real life.
I loved Mork and Mindy when I was really small. This was a treat to see with the original commercials! Thank you so much for posting.
Thank you so much for all this stuff especially these original broadcasts.

The Milky Way commercial with real live newspaper reporter Bill Overend features voiceover by Casey Kasem.
Oh yes. An unmistakable voice that counted down the hits for 39 years. A national treasure.

My mother went to bingo at the church Thursday nights, and I couldn't wait for thdm a night off so she could see it.
In a way, it still had a conclusion, with a long wrap-up report to Orson for a promotion.
Thank you very much for this!!! 💖💖👍👍👍
Thank you for the Mork and Mindy video.🙏🌎🇺🇸
Kids fly free on TWA commercial. Love it!
Great show filled with great actors
That's Tom Selleck in the Close Up Commercial.
By the way, the voiceover for the Milky Way candy bar commercial was done by Casey Kasem.

R.I.P. Mrs. Buttersworth! We miss you!
I guess it's morbid but I had to look up Conrad Janis to see when he died and I was shocked to see he's still alive.
Not only that, a shocker he outlived Robin Williams.
@@wmbrown6 I still can't believe Robin Williams is gone.
Sadly, he just passed a week or so ago. :( One of the best TV dads ever and so underrated, RIP.
3:31 and again at 3:40 Played Little Earl on "What's Happening" tv show.

Jan 1979,. feels like yesterday well maybe the day before yesterday. Ok show but laugh track is a bit much. The commercials were fun and unobtrusive.
