AWESOME! Thanks for posting these, I love M&M I started a collection of merchandise, this takes me back. I was 7 then. They should have had cameos by: Eugene, Mr Bickley, Nelson Flavor, Remo & Jeanie then that would be everyone until Mearth was born.
It is a highly edited version (minus the very beginning) of the version from season one that just repeats over and over. It wasn't originally broadcast that way. This is the original opening for season 4: ruclips.net/video/My1M7bREKSE/видео.html
This series has really aged well. There’s so many things right with this episode. I loved the All in The Family reference 8:20. The actors delivery style seems so natural and authentic. Not, on the extreme level as Larry David’s Curb, definitely scripted, but comes off almost improvised. A perfectly suited vehicle for Robin’s talents, for sure. Quality television, thanks for sharing!
@Robert Segedi Do you remember Morks friend "TNT" Taylor aka Todd Norman portrayed by Bill Kirchenbauer best known as Coach Lubbock from Growing Pains and in the later spinoff Just The 10 Of US, whom was a recurring character from season 1, 3 and 4 LOL!🤔😀📺👍
RIP Peter Scolari. One thing I loved about Mork and Mindy apart from Robin William's antics was how great Mindy's father was. This average Joe had to put up with his daughter letting an alien move in with her, marry the alien, then have a full-grown son with him a month after getting married, and he took it all like a champ even if he didn't like it at first each time. We could use more parents like him! :)
*Bosom Buddies* was a better show than it deserved to be considering the premise and considering Miller-Boyett's well-deserved reputation, earned by their post-Garry Marshall works while he was making movies at Disney, as panderers cranking out kiddie dreck at the expense of family sitcoms that weren't terrible. The success of its cast in other shows and in movies says a lot about how well-cast it was.
What kind of theme music would you expect for a show with a music store in a lovely Colorado town? Did you say an alien? I thought that was Robin Williams. Oh, Mork. You know what he tells Orson?
At this point, it was clear the show was running out of new plot ideas. Robin is great as always ,but you need more than his comic talents to carry a show like this.
Well it's become a trophy and television that when a series is struggling there are three things to do to try to boost ratings: 1- starting you selling out of nowhere relationship 2- break up a long-established pair in a relationship only to reunite them by end of series unless one dies and 3- introduce babies and children to use for convenient comedic or dramatic purposes
@@marcelmoreau2733 In this case, they got rid of the child actor they had in the first season. Eugene was there … then he was gone. I guess TV wasn't big enough for him and Gary Coleman.
When I was in California back in the 1980s we went to a Comedy Club and we noticed a photo of Robin Williams near the stage entrance with devil horns drawn on his head. Under it was a caption that said something like Don't perform your act if you see this man anywhere in or outside the building. I asked the manager what it was all about. He said Robin was going around Comedy Clubs and stealing jokes from up-and-coming comedians. Didn't think much about it until I saw articles online years later about the fact that he did steal jokes. One of the most embarrassing caught in the acts was when he stole jokes from Ray Romano. Ray had appeared on David Letterman the night before Robin appeared and if Robin had watched the show he wouldn't have told the exact same bit the next night.
At least Robin had some things of his own that were original. The worst offender of that of all time was and is Carlos Mencia. He not only has no act of his own (he steals everything).. he isn't even the ethnicity he hijacked for his act. Not even a full blood Hispanic either.
Watching this brings up so many memories,,, So Many Many Memories I've tried to forget. It's showing me again how horrible a comedic actor Robin Williams was. The guy just was not funny, you're not laughing at the jokes he's telling you're laughing at how badly he tells them andax about it. Far better as a dramatic actor but a terrible comedian.
Thank you so much for this!!!
I'm grateful for the work you're doing collecting all the old video tapes. Good job and keep up the good work.
A few weeks later came the birth of Mork and Mindy's son named Mirth played by Robin Williams' idol Johnathan Winters.
Darryl H., that's spelled the late ⏰ Jonathan (but not Johnathan) Winters 🥶❄️🏂🎿.
Mearth
I forgot about that and had seen some of those episodes. This was so long ago!
Love this show still!
Ahh!! The season with Jonathan. Hope one of those episodes surfaces.
Yep 👍!
I love all these old shows and the commercials.
I loved this show as a kid and i still do
I definitely want to see part two!

@@SuperMarioBrosIII Good stuff!
I honestly thought Exidor would be marrying them. perhaps that would have been too weird for this episode?

Some trivia that's actress Shelley Fabares as Kathy who would later be in another ABC sitcom Coach.

I always like the part where Robin comes out after the sheepdog
Great job!
Season 1 theme being played here in season 4! strange!?
Sounds like Dick Tufeld voicing the ABC promos. I wonder what happened to Ernie Anderson.

Not the right theme song for that season!!
THANK YOU!!!! I immediately said, "WTH???"
One last season Mork erase Mindy mind and went back to ORK .

Dead Poets Society
The horrible TV theme editing ruins it for me.
It is objectively not horrible. It’s good enough. Relax and don’t sweat the small stuff.
I really dig your channel. I'm just curious... why did you have to replace the theme song? Is one controlled by copyright but the other one isn't?
