Fantastic. Now i can finally get some value out of the game. While i appreciate there are people who absolutely love the difficulty and understand that for them this is very much what the game is about - i really wish they would put in a story mode for people who don't have as much time to play. I love all the games at the start but as soon as i have to retry a boss more than twice I'm done. I simply don't get joy out of feeling like i'm wasting time repeating something over and over and over. This is why games like Fallen Order were much more aproachable. I respect the developers game design but i do hope that publishers realize that peopel who want to play their game have a variety of desires when playing and there is a large group that doesn't want to play something that is intentionally difficult.
I agree, I bought elden ring on release and got stuck in the stormveil castle (Skill issue) and decided to drop it. Now that I completed the game I can confidently say that it's honestly one of my favourites ever. I put in about 40 hours within 2 weeks
Absolutely agree. Lot of sincere appreciation for true souls players and hardcore gamers, but not all people have put priority on vg (or are allowed to do this, in terms of time and strenght). This mod gives a chance to that kind of players.

I was always scared to play this game. I am an average "ok" gamer. My best achievement is playing the Witcher 3 on death march. I tried this on ps5 and got demolished. I get discouraged from losing progress with limited playing time. This game has been nagging me from a distance. I built a solid gaming rig over the last holiday season and saw this mod. I feel like I can finally play this game, just in time for the DLC. I had to buy it again, but got it for 65 for the base game and Shadow of the Erd tree. I cant do that on a console. I love PC!! mahalo for an easy step by step video. I really appreciate it.

definitely gonna aim to get a PC mainly for this. i love challenging games, but elden ring makes me want to rip my hair out. i’m a grown ass man with a full time job + OT and when i finally do have free time, id like to casually play. and i cannot do that with its stock difficultly. props to whoever can, but i can’t, and i won’t. if i’m gonna sweat that hard i’m gonna play ranked Apex or something lol

It’s more because the point of these games is overcoming the hardships. Taking an easy way out isn’t a hardship. If you beat the game with this mod, you still haven’t beat the true game. Use the mod if you want, but you’re not getting the same experience. Don’t play any dark souls

Will be trying this mod out once its been updated for the new release. As others have said, it would be nice if devs could put a story mode into all games as otherwise us casual/more busy gamers wont get to enjoy the story, lore, details, characters, architecture etc of these fantastic games

Pretty sure it’s not working with most recent version of game. Had to install wine to run anti toggle exe, but doing so sends error protected game exe not found. Tried other method to disable anti cheat and ran easy mode. First boss on horse totally destroyed me in two hits

I know people say "Get Good" when I say this but I don't understand why they couldn't have put difficulty levels in the game so everyone could enjoy. If you like a challenge just leave it as is. People act like if developers put easy mode then the game & the developers are dead to them. If it doesn't effect your hard gameplay mode then why worry if there's a easy mode?
For me this is not an Easy mode it's more like a "IWannaFeelMoreLikeAGod" mode. To really feel like I'm on an Isekai where the protagonist is too OP kind of thing
I'd rather have fun being the most unbalanced character in a game than lose my sanity against enemies with disproportionate and absurd power, no thanks 😅
So I did everything and it's not working. There's 2 possibilities I can think of on why and I want your input. I've never played souls games and hate extreme difficulty but decided to give it a shot without spending money so I got a cracked version. Also to save space on my pc's disk, I have the game on an external hard drive. Is it possible that the game being a cracked version and not in the steam common folder are the root causes for why the mod isn't working?

So after patch 1.10 game came back to regular difficulty....I tried to instal again but its not working....do i need to reinstal game and instal mod again or...????
This was super helpful. I may be stupid, however, but whenever I tried to install a plan rune multiplier mod it had no effect. It's possible I was using a deprecated version, but I don't know how to check for that. But super helpful anyway. thanks!
The new regulation.bin caused the game to no longer recognise my save file. Returned the original regulation.bin, and it's fine (but just as stupid as it was before, no change). What do I do? I brute-forced my way all the way to Malenia and Malekith and after nearly 300 hours have hit the wall. I just want it beaten, but I have completely lost patience with its nonsense.
Not sure what all isnt working but i do know my blue magic bar is still going down when using my staff . doesnt seem like im doing to much damage either.

Is this mod available for patch 1.08? I followed your steps correctly but whenever I launch the game, it says "Corrupted Save Data". I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the mod but it didn't work out. My backup file does not work after moving the backup and modded file around (I've done nothing to the files other than moving them around) and whenever I launch the game with the original file, it crashes. But my main problem is the "Corrupted Save Data" as mentioned before.
Does anyone think 10x runes breaks the game? even 3x seems absurd. I want the reduction of weight and other things from the personal edit, but dont want to 10x runes. Is there a way to select which mods appear within the are on/off once installed?

Same here. Played it 20 Hours on PS5 and i already beat the first big boss in the castle.. but i don´t have so much time to spend it on Elden Ring. But with this mod it would be much more enjoyable as you said.
@@IlllIIlIll-x after 7 Hours I deleted the Easy Mod and get back on my PS5 to continue Elden Ring on it. The Easy Mode Mod was toooo easy 😅 it felt to much like cheating and I had no fun after winning against a hard boss. It’s way better without the mod and not that really hard than I thought. Played know 60hours with my Level 170 Samurai with the Moonveil Katana on +9 and with this the game also feels without the Easy Mod, „Easy“! Never had so much fun and it’s a shame that I used this Mod ….

Fromsoftware said that “difficulty” is their trademark. I mean this in the best of ways, but you honestly didn’t get the best experience possible.

Not VAC ban, if you try to play in online mode you can get banned from online play on elden ring

Do you have to start a new game after the modding or can you play an already existing world?
It's recommended to play on a new save in case something happens to your existing save

It's best to start a new one. IN CASE it messes up your current save file. But it should work on both. Just beware of the risk I guess

Is your game updated on steam?
Does “2x hit radius” in the mod description mean your weapon has twice the reach or what?
Failed to save game . save data is corrupted can't go further in the game. Solution please.

Is this mod available for patch 1.08? I followed your steps correctly but whenever I launch the game, it says "Corrupted Save Data".
I tried uninstalling then reinstalling the mod but it didn't work out.
My backup file does not work after moving the backup and modded file around (I've done nothing to the files other than moving them around) and whenever I launch the game with the original file, it crashes. But my main problem is the "Corrupted Save Data" as mentioned before.
i pressed the toggle anti cheat icon like you said, but i only get an error of failed to disable anti cheat, failed to rename start-protected_exe

So ... is it possible to beat a boss using the cheat and then turn the cheat off / anti cheat on and go back to normal difficulty and online play?

Does anyone think 10x runes breaks the game? even 3x seems absurd. I want the reduction of weight and other things from the personal edit, but dont want to 10x runes. Is there a way to select which mods appear within the are on/off once installed?
Never played a game like Elden ring before so when I got it for my ps5 it was very hard lol. But after this vid got for my pc and it’s so much more enjoyable thank you :). Also did you get a virus message when you downloaded the anti cheat ?
It's an exe file so anti-virus will think it is suspicious so thats normal.
@@ConCon okay thank you it’s safe to use right? Like you won’t get banned for using it offline. I used mods for gta V story mode and no problems but I didn’t know for Elden ring.
Same here. Played it 20 Hours on PS5 and i already beat the first big boss in the castle.. but i don´t have so much time to spend it on Elden Ring. But with this mod it would be much more enjoyable as you said.

@@IlllIIlIll-x after 7 Hours I deleted the Easy Mod and get back on my PS5 to continue Elden Ring on it. The Easy Mode Mod was toooo easy 😅 it felt to much like cheating and I had no fun after winning against a hard boss.
It’s way better without the mod and not that really hard than I thought. Played know 60hours with my Level 170 Samurai with the Moonveil Katana on +9 and with this the game also feels without the Easy Mod, „Easy“! Never had so much fun and it’s a shame that I used this Mod ….
so if iam struggling with a boss i can put this on in offline mode then when beat it take it off and go back online? and wont get banned?
Well I would suggest to keep your saves separate in case something gets messed up. Have a normal game save, and then start a new one for easy mode

Hi. Question: I have platinumed the game on ps5. I did all playthroughs (ng, ng+ and ng++) to platinum. Now with a PC I want to ''breeze through''. If I use this mod so I can go through the game faster, will I be able to get the achievements in order to 100%? Also, there are 3 types of this mod as you said. One of these mods will disable achievements?
