    I really liked this interview Harnoor. It goes to show that the linear path doesn't apply in life necessarily. If it does to you, great, but if it doesn't it can be managed too. He says he doesn't want to be a part of the Wall Street greed culture and instead wants to do a people facing job. We have to define our own yardsticks of success.

    My uncle has 23 years of experience in finance and investment banking working with various companies like Citi, Credit Suisse, J.P Morgan and now works at Morgan Stanley as a Vice President. The thing he talked about the competition at wall street is really fierce. You really need to know what you are and what are you capable of doing before starting your journey in New York.

    Highly relatable... During first job hunt I too used to simply visit offices in Mumbai and pretend I had an appointment with the HR. I used send my resume by email prior and would carry my printed follow up letter. I'd go even the length to figure out the names of the HRs and hiring managers before I visited those offices. And that's how I also landed up my first job!
