How to Fix Amazon Fire TV Remote Not Pairing or Syncing (Easy Method)

Do you want to know how to fix when your Amazon Fire TV is not pairing or syncing to your TV? If it's not working unplug your Fire TV and wait 60 seconds. Press and hold the Left button, Menu button, and Back button at the same time. Hold them for 12 seconds. Release the buttons and wait 5 seconds. Remove the batteries from your remote. Plug in your Fire TV and wait 60 seconds. Put the batteries back in your remote. Press the Home button on the remote. And connect a phone to the fire tv by going to the apple or google play store and get the amazon fire tv app. Then go to settings with your phone and go to bluetooth and controllers. Add a new remote and place your remote into sync mode. Then select it under this list and it will connect.

still doesn't work. I even tried the firestick app to use your phone as a remote. I can't get pass the Searching for remote screen. The weird part is the remotes volume, up/down works, mute works , power works just the home button doesn't work. Remotes are repsonding to the TV but the home button isn't working. Tried 2 different Fire TV remotes and the Fire TV app. Nothing

Dang this did not work. At least I can use my phone to work my TV but I sure would like to use my remote. I also tried two different fire remotes. The one that came with TV and another one I reset we have for another fire tv.

My tv is messed up I just can’t watch all of my channels. The other day I had all of my channels on my tv but now it’s messed up. I hope today I get my Firestick fixed because I just wanna watch all of the regular channels. I’m tired of watching RUclips and all of that. I have same problem, bought new remote, won't pair, bought ethernet cord, plugged tv to internet, nothing, downloaded fire remote app...phone app not discovering tv....can this tv be plugged to a computer to receive an update??
I actually factory reset my tv, and wiped it clean of all memory of old remotes...still nothing...about to call Amazon with the serial number to see if they can help

I just ordered another remote so that each of us has one. It will pair with one Fire TV in three kids room but the main TV doesn’t detect it. I’ve unplugged the TV, rebooted the remote, taken out the batteries, slowly moved the remote past every square inch of the back and screen, checked for updates and updated the TV (repeatedly) all to no avail. Any ideas?
