I never thought to see a marathon of stage fatalities here 😁 just so wicked and funny to see both reaction being priceless. Also a little detail I didn’t know is that MK X/XL pit stage fatality have heads of the developers in it. It’s like a little Easter egg.

One thing that some dont realize about the stage fatalities around the 6:23 mark where there is the smaller acid pool, the spikes, the lava and the gears is that those are all on the same arena in MK Armageddon. They are each on the arena's corners.

In 6:01 the stage fatality is in what is called “The Nexus” which given my semi-limited knowledge on Mortal Kombat Lore (pre-MK9), is Essentially a Realm Between Realms. The stage fatality shows Scorpion Kicking Sub-Zero seemingly into a twister is actually a Void outside of the Nexus, which is essentially a whole lot of literal nothingness, So unless you have enough power to escape the void of the nexus, you would be no better than dead.
3:46 By the way, on that stage, which is Sky Temple from MK Deception, if you throw Havik down there, then he will say "Oh man, this is gonna suck" while falling down. That is one cool detail that i found out not too long ago.

Ooh I have an interesting suggestion for Mortal Kombat. So when a character defeats (beats the final boss) in a Klassic tower or a ladder, the character you choose has an ending. You should react to those one day.
Once we play the games and beat it once ourselves over live-streaming for 9-11 we will check out all the possible endings 😃

The worst one to die from is definitely the face in the lava from MK9. The most satisfying ones are those from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 because they pause the music and put the camera on the death equipment (?) at just the right moment before the character dies.
Yeah the lava was horrifying 😂

You should react to some of the executions from For Honor. It’s a fighting game with Knights, Vikings, and Samurai, and it can get pretty brutal. Ken will definitely like it, but Bethany might need another drink.

There’s actually a version of the one where the opponent falls off the really tall building and they yell “MAN, THIS IS GONNA SUCK!!!” (I think it’s Havik who says it)

3:35 Ah yes, MortalKombat: Deadly Alliance... or as I like to call it: "Little Mortis couldn't make the fatalities work without a game shark, so he'd always do stage fatalities and lie to himself saying that was good enough."
Also, if you really love watching gore stuff, I highly recommend checking out the Dead Space series.

Fun fact! All those earlier 3D ones with the bold silver letters announcing the winner and "Flawless Victory" callout? They're all basically "ring out" kills, able to be done at ANY time (not just after you've gotten the opponent to critical health). The arenas have part of the border with a flashing red line signaling the hazard, and if you do an attack that knocks back or pops up the opponent near one of them...boom, instant kill. I honestly thought it was kind of frustrating because it took a lot of the actual fighting out of the game lol.
The falling cliffs one was the WORST lol. The two of you fight standing on this little ring of ground at the top of a pillar of stone, and EVERY edge was an instant-kill zone. Plus, as the fight goes on, bits of the outside edges fall away and if you're standing on it when it does...you die. That's why it has a stage fatality to kill BOTH players, because it was all too common that it'd just kill you both because you happened to be fighting too close to the edge and it dropped out from under you lol. I think it just gave the victory to whoever had higher health when it happened.
We love fun facts and this was no different 😃🥳
To me it forces you to constantly be aware of your position. You'd probably hate Virtua Fighter because there is no invisible barrier preventing you from just walking out of the ring like other games. I personally like that because you need to be aware of where you are at all times. My created character in Soul Calibur 6 was designed with that in mind. I can ring you out easily if you have my back to the edge even with a low wall because one of my moves impales and slams behind bypassing the wall.
@@ZombifiedBuizel Oh yeah? Which character's moveset were you using for your custom character? Sounds like Siegfried's stab-n-flip he's had for a few games, though I didn't play SC6 enough to see if he had it in that one.
I've been a Sophitia main since like SC3 (SC2 I mainly Raphael'd). I love her mix-up chains, she can alternate highs and lows at the drop of a hat. She also has some great unblockables that can trip up the input-reading enemy AI on some of those ridiculous late-game Soul Chronicle fights lol.
I do prefer fighters with little to no ring-out mechanics, but Soul Calibur has always been such a good series even with it that I just can't be too mad. Some of those super slippery arena stages in 6 were pretty goofy though lol.
@@ericmartin8870 Well I made two. One with Siegfried and the other with Nightmare. Though to be fair as least as far as SCII (on gamecube cause Link is best guest character) goes I am really good with Kilik. Though I am ok with most characters moreso with Voldo. I can't tell you how many victories I've had in Virtua Fighter due to the A.I. stepping backwards out of the ring trying to dodge me and vis versa.
I could never play Cronicles of the Sword in SCIII cause there's a pretty bad bug that corrupts your memory card at random. It's happened to me twice so I'm not chancing it a 3rd time
@@ZombifiedBuizel Man, I haven't played 3 in a LONG long time. I forget which one it was, did it have guest characters? I just know I didn't love Raphael nearly as much after SC2 so I started gravitating towards Sophitia around 3. My edition of SC2 was on the PlayStation, so my guest character was Heihachi from Tekken and I barely touched him. He had some cool combos that felt endless, but I thought he was kind of boring overall.
So since that point, Sophitia is my definite main. I've always really liked Hilde as a character, but I've never really taken the time to learn her moves. When I'm not zerging down as Soph, I tend to favor Seong Mi-Na as my second favorite. Zasalamel is a really cool character, but I've never QUITE gotten the hang of his attack chains.
I gotta revisit SC6. I played it pretty exhaustively for a while a few months ago, but other stuff absconded with my attention and I haven't been back since. With all of my existence currently devoted to my Fjordur server on Ark, I probably won't be back anytime soon either lol. Only thing I can see tearing me away from it is God of War: Ragnarok coming out lol.

4:26 That particular stage is unstable, so it falls apart at the edge then stops after a while (leaving small space for the fight to continue.
7:32 Portals are unstable in MK, so unless you're a god who can make the travel safe or someone like Shang Tsung you're being hooked up to God's wifi.

Yes! Nice, really love the Mk2011 stage fatalitie since they are just remasters of the stage fatalities from the arcade days. If I can I'd like you to react to the Saints Row series (GTA on steroids). Possibly my favorite sandbox series. Maybe just like you did with God of War, reacting to all trailers.

There’s a version of the ceiling spikes in MK2 where the opponent falls off. (If you’re wondering how I know all of this, I’ve seen other videos where these have happened)
