You need to buy the Magic-S Ultimate. A $35 adaptor that plugs into the USB of the Mayflash F300 and it will work with actual PS5 games. I just bought it and works great. You will probably have to update the firmware on the Mayflash F300 on the PC first. Better to spend the $35 on the adaptor then $100's on a new stick.
Man i was ganna try getting into the fighting game scene but im not spending hundreds of dollars for a damn controller because sony is greedy. Damn...us ps5 players really dont have any options huh...what a shame. I was having so much fun with street fighter too
Sony is so bad doing this stuff. Not customer friendly yet everyone would die for a PS5. So what happens when the PS6 comes out? Does it mean you would need a new stick to plug in directly into it? That sucks, why not just make it like Xbox and have all their controllers compatible?! I personally play on PC and I used to play with my Madcatz TE1 Xbox version, which actually still works today on Steam. But now that my little cousins are older and are getting pretty good at fighting games, I like to play with them at their place or at my friend's place, and they all have PS5 consoles, so I bought the Hori FS Alpha PS5/PS5/PC version and I'm loving it. I only use this one now and have retired my TE1 Xbox version. You should note that I also have the TE1 PS3 version, but that stick hasn't been used once I package my PS3 into a box as I cannot use that one on PC and cannot remember if it worked on PS4 or not, but it definitely does not work on PS5. Such a shame.

idk... but my Hori V3 PS3 stick plays fine on Tekken 7 on the PS4. I imagine Tekken 7 is considered PS4 by default. Tekken 7 always throws me a message about Legacy controller found. push option button to activate. No telling what T8 is gonna do, though. But seems to be game specific, more than Hardware specific.. (I don't have a PS5. waiting for the Pro to be released before getting one.)
Problem is that most in-person tournaments are run on console, so if you play competitively, you need to be able to play on whatever setup they're using. Street Fighter 6 made this very notable because EVO and Capcom Pro Tour will run this game on PS5 exclusively, so just being able to play WILL require your stick to work on that. And while the Brook UFB-UP5 is effectively a paperweight here, their recently released Brook FGC Wingman Adapter so far has allowed sticks to be recognized on a bunch of PS5 games (most importantly, SF6), and thankfully EVO specifically allows Brook Adapters in their rulesets.

I don’t think so. I think that they specify fgc may indicate that it will emulate an official ps4 stick similar to how their UP5 works.

Yes. I used the Hori official PS5 stick for testing and it worked on everything I tried it on.

if you got a good PC just get the steam version and your old street fighter 5 sticks will all work

None that I know of are liscensed for both, but a Brook converter will sort it out for you.
