Now that you have the base design established, when will you be making custom orders for sale??! Me first!!! Wink! Lol! They are very nice! This would make a great giveaway depending on shipping. It's fantastic of you to share how you jazzed up some storage! 🤠
I love it! Well worth all the effort. As soon as you started the video describing the decoupage attempt I thought to myself she needs some cute contact paper in her life. Of course I applauded when you ended up going with that method later on. I love the look of the tabbed dividers. When I upsized my storage I went for the biggest I could manage to avoid having to redo the system for a long time. I needed room to grow A LOT! Hence the 3x5 card dividers to go with 3x4 size bags. I nixed the whole box situation (I searched and searched for bigger boxes and found the Xyron brand ones but they weren't big enough.) That's when I decided to go big or go home. I found the perfect chest of drawers at Hobby Lobby. I haven't looked back. The drawer unit serves as a perfect spot to display my pens and hold some of my tray towers as well. Thanks for sharing this video with us. We all take away ideas for the future. If I ever redo my dividers I will definitely go with a tabbed setup. I'm curious to know how they hold up over time, Perhaps some plastic ones come to mind....
I considered laminating them but opted not to sue to the amount of time it would take. We’ll see how the card stock holds up. By then I will probably need to upgrade again!
Late to the party but I wanted to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS - well done! I hope you're still enjoying your system. See you around in future videos! 😊💖🌻🌼🌷
Great job! I don't think I can put in that much effort I use the binder method with baseball card holders and bags with the holes in it attached to a ring holder so I can easily flip through. My AB's are in special containers that hold drills. My special drills are in the same types of containers as AB's. The issue with keeping drills is accounting for dye lot differences, so it just kinda grows whether you want it to or not! Love what you did!
The jelly drills came from DP with Sparklers, I believe, and the glow in the dark drills from Amazon. You can do a search online for the DMC colors, but make sure you’re searching for diamond painting DMC, as there are way less colors than cross-stitch DMC colors. Thanks for watching!!
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous Its a good system. I thought about using the storage boxes from harbor freight but that would be way too many. I love the way you do it. I just have to figure out how since I don't have a cutter. that is a lot to do by hand.

@@cherylgerhards1540 I actually made the round and square stickers myself using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. But the Avery ones will work just as well!
I LOVE your new system! Those stickers and tabs are awesome! If you plan on selling the files or anything for them I’d love to know. I have a Cricut that I use for various projects so that is right up my alley.
Love this idea I currently have 6 box’s and would like to down size. Thank you for sharing this. One quick question what’s the size for the divider card?
I have watched this video multiple time, extremely informative and I’m moving forward to replicating your system Where do I go to find the files with DMC numbers???
When you were talking about the wrapping paper, I was thinking, I wonder if shelving paper would work...lol What cutting machine do you use? Also what size are the cut cardstock dividers? Guess I'll be making a trip to Hobby Lobby to find the gold boxes :)
Hi Daphne! I’m also trying to revamp my extra drill supply , so I’m really interested in how you’re doing yours. Right now, I have my leftovers in small condiment containers stacked up in baskets and it’s just taking up way, way too much space. I’ve got to figure out something better than this. Have you thought about using contact paper instead of wrapping paper on the box?
According to the Hobby Lobby website, the dimensions of the large box are 18" wide, 13 1/4" long, and 4 1/4" high. The inside dimensions are slightly smaller, but you could adjust for the measurements of whatever storage you decide to use.
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous Thank you very much for your quick answer. I am looking for one which I can use for my index cards and I have none experience and this one looks a good one.

Honestly, I considered it, but I’m afraid shipping would be horrendous. But maybe just the cards and stickers? Idk yet, I’m still mulling. 😁

Where did you get your jelly glow drills or glow in the dark drills? This is awesome storage. Where do I find a list of all the dmc colors?

I know you used a cutter for your tab dividers (blue and pink card stock) - do you have a template and/or sizes for them, so I can cut them by hand?
I believe they are 4x3 inches to fit inside the box I had. Thanks for watching!!

Interesting but time consuming, I like my system best in the bin never needed spares in 3 years thank you for the video
What do you do with the drills like when you get new paintings. Do you organize them to or leave them in package till you use them?
I leave everything in the package until I am ready to kit up and begin the canvas. So I only store the extras after I’m done with a kit.
@@DiamondPaintingAnonymous okay. Thank you I was wondering what I should do.
Do you have the stickers to make on the cricut?

They are roughly 2.75” by 4”. Slightly less where I angled them for the top tab.
Great thank you again

I use a silhouette cameo. I made the dividers 2.75” wide and 4” tall.
What’s the need to wrap the box? Wasn’t it already wrapped from the manufacturer?
The box was gold, which I did not like, so I wrapped it with some contact paper. Thanks for watching!!
Oh, gotcha. Gold isn’t my favorite color either. 😂
Have to try that

Why not use DAC colours - blue for square and pink for rounds?
