Finally, a video with needed information & not a lot of yakking
... you'll find I don't do alot of "Yakking" on tutorials
It’s like you read my mind! I’m new to diamond painting and have been watching all kinds of videos from you and Rachel Rae ( love the 2 of you) to get as many tips as I can. I see some other folk talk about sectioning the clear liner but I wasn’t sure how. And now I do! Thank you so much. Your video was very helpful.
Happy To hear it was helpful! 🥰 Thanks for watching! Happy Drilling~

With washi tape you don’t need to risk using any knife you any credit card it just rips and it gives you a clean edge.
OMG tysm I've been worrying for so long cuz I don't have an exacto knife
Very helpful thank you, exactly what I was looking for and more! 🙌😁
I am going to my parents house in 10 days. To Kenai, 3 hours south of Anchorage. Then their going to take me an hour and a half north to Seward, AK to the Sealife Center. It should be fun. I've never been there before. Enjoy your week. Another great WIP. See you Friday night.

This is such a cool hack! Thank you so much for sharing it! I’m going to try this on my next diamond painting! 🙌 That clear film is always so annoying when I’m trying to keep it peeled back. Huge areas are always exposed for hours. 😬 Love your videos by the way! 💎👍
Very helpful! Thanks!!
Thank you I’m new to Diamond painting 💎 love your channel

I've not done this myself, but I can see how it could be super useful for some of my bigger paintings that I have my "to do" pile.
Also, I love the, "Ms Coffee doesn't math" I'm right there with you lol
🥰 #NoMath Club! 😆
I needed this. Thank you so much!!
Brilliant thank you so much great help
Awesome, now I have an alternative to parchment squares! xoxo 💜
Thanks for sharing, I have been doing this for about 2 yrs and have always sectioned off my pieces but I use masking tape its cheaper once done with a section I fold the clear wrap over the section to keep it clean and all the drills stay on no chance of them falling off,
Great idea. I don’t care whose idea it is. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Yess!!!! I’ve been hoping for a video on sectioning!! Thanks Mrs. Coffee!
You're Welcome 🥰
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for another informative video.
THANK YOU for this! I'm just now seeing it, but rather late than never! 😊😊
Makes so much sense. Very helpful. Gotta get washy tape. Thank you.
Thanks for this video. I needed this!! I just kitted up and sectioned off as I watched this!!! You are awesome.
Thanks 😊
I just received my 1st Oraloa 28x22. I used your method of sectioning and I LOVE it. Maker my canvas less intimidating.
Best idea ever. I dont know why I didn't do it sooner. I kept losing my spot otherwise ( lot of grey in white tiger) and found by sectioning it even with just painter's tape it helped to stay focused on one area and finally accomplish something. Thank you for the really thorough video!! Now I just need washi tape!
Love all your new tips videos Mrs Coffee. I felt like I knew a lot about Diamond Painting but no lol I am still learning, you show so many new tips it’s so good😍. Definitely going to try this great Idea. Thanks for sharing ☺️
So Happy I can Help! 🥰
Thank you so much for explaining this, I was wondering how to get to the middle squares without ruining the canvas!
Thanks for showing that. I wondered how this was done.

Omg thank you I'm so glad I found this because I was so nervous to do one with out sections and now I know how thank you ❤

Thank you very much! This was incredibly helpful and I've been looking for proper section video for a while. 💚
Wow! Super helpful! Been practicing on my 1st DAP, but am about to place a big order with Amazon to get all of the tools etc including washi tape, storage containers, extra drills, A3 Light Pad etc. I have REALLY needed help with learning how to section it off. Thank you so much! ❤
Thank you!!! well........................... I've sure have been doing it wrooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnng!!! :( I was using it directly on the canvas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oooooooooopppppppppssssss !!!!! Thank you for your video!!

Oh thank you so much this was very helpful. I saw someone else do it with like the tan tape This was so simple
Thank you I was wondering how to do this .Thank Mrs.Coffee ,yes this was very helpful .
Glad it was helpful!
As a follow up... Oh my God. I’m very new to this hobby (about one month) and have done at least 5 amazon kits while waiting for my China deliveries. I’m so happy I found your channel and this TIP so early on in this adventure. I can’t tell you how pleasurable it is to work on sections using this washi tape method. Who would have thought such a technique could make all the difference. Thanks again! Stay safe.
That is awesome! Welcome to the craft! So happy this little tip will be handy for ya.
I have never needed to do this but good to know how to do it. Thank you. 💎💎💎
I use scissors to cut by lifting the washi taped cover away from the canvas, and cut through the middle of the tape down the long sides first, then I do the short sides. The cover will stop lifting after long cuts, so the short sides need to be cut in sections. I like how easy yours tears through the middle.
Thank you will try it
I just got the Princess Ensemble XL diamond painting from Heartful Diamonds, which is a 70x100. Since I have only been diamond painting for a few months I was wondering how I should tackle that project. I think this it the perfect tip for doing that painting!! Thank you for this great video!!
Thank you so much!!! A dear of mine , has watched you for years! I am finally doing my first diamond painting, and wanted to section it off, for fear of ending up like a rat in a glue trap …lol. Jk… just don’t wanna ruin the stickiness! Now, I know how to section
Wlell there ya go
Thank you for this video. I'm going to try this method for my next painting!!
OH MY GOSH! YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!
Thankyou
You're welcome!

Thanks for this easy to understand video! Finally a video on sectioning that makes sense! Where did you find the cute little blue fishy cutter?
Thank you!!!!!!!!
Thank you for this. I did my first small one about a month ago. I've got more, bigger ones on the way. This will make it so much easier! Thank you!

Now I understand. I was so confused
I have sectioned off my paintings a couple times, but I always cut into each section before I start. I like this way much better! Thanks for the tip!!
This was super helpful! Thank you!
I love your cool and very nice way of making videos. Liked this one very much. ;)
Thank you so much 😀
Thank you. I have always wanted to know how to does it. Thank you
Thank you for showing how to do this...I have always wondered. :-) Great video as always!
Very helpful. For my first project I chose Starry Night and it's 20"x16"...constantly touching the canvas or peeling back over and over...🤦. Thank you! There is a cheap version of washi tape at Dollar Tree.
Wow! So smart! I love this idea!! ♥️
Thank you!! 😊
I would never have thought of this but it would be worth trying. Thank you for doing this video.
