Have to say , being a traditional guitar guy, at first I wasnt sure.. but I came to like these guitars quite a bit..necks are awesome...and as for my playing....i improvise...so, you throw a lot of stuff out and hope things stick!! ha...thanks to all the guys at Fender...very cool people!!
@@lukegarris0n thanks....I really came to like the Floyd..not like me at all..but they are great guitars..quality control is great...I remember playing more aggressive stuff but they chose what they wanted..cool people at fender thanks again
That fusiony stuff at the end was awesome, you’re one of those players that would make a broom strung with dental floss sound good. Phenomenal player. D-shaped flat profile necks are my least favorite neck profiles, but if you say it’s great, then it’s probably worth trying one out.
When you look at things you can barely afford it is different right... then you want it real bad. Now it is more of looking at the stuff and admiring it.
@Mike Pelletier muito caro mesmo , hj tenho uma squier indonésia a muito tempo tocando cm ela na igreja , sonho sempre com uma fender mas vejo que não é possível eu possuir uma guitarra bonita e caro de mais .....
The next Trogoly video is gonna be a banger. American made Strat with a real Floyd Rose and matching headstock. 2021 is pretty sweet. My American Professional 2 in HSS is my baby. Roasted Pine body and Alnico 5 single coils. I never knew I would love a Pine body so much but it resonates insanely.
I keep saying this, but I dont watch these videos for the gear per se; The artists fender brings along to demo their gear are just amazing (all of who ive never heard of before). In some cases I even come back to these vids once in a while to just listen to these amazing players. (and yeah, your marketing works; I now want all of Fender's pedals and the new strat, haha). Fender; if you're reading this; Please make a playlist with all the unedited jams people did for your promotion videos, they're just absolutely amazing
I am loving my American Pro 2, I couldn't think of a better player to show off a Fender. Allen Hinds is up there with the greatest for me, a fusion player with a foot still in the blues. Something deceptively accessible about his playing.
Oh man how the hell have I never thought of black guard sunburst with a black headstock. That looks so killer. Maple neck sunburst is one of my all time favorite looking guitars. I’m boring...
I think Fender has thousands of mint green pick guards in stock. My Tele came with mint and I immediately swapped it with a black one. Some websites still show a mint or aged white pick guard on this model.
I picked up this pre-loved and it's fantastic. It took me a little time to tinker and get it just right, but since then, it's been amazing. It sounds beautiful, especially when I use the tremolo. The pick ups are versatile, too - they sound great no matter what position they're in. The neck is very comfortable, perfect for my style of playing. Out of the few guitars I've played, this one tops the list.
Bought one of the first of these to hit Australia in 2021. For me, it’s the perfect Strat. I have the SSS version; the pickups are excellent and the build quality is faultless, but the neck is the star.
I can afford these truly professional Fender World Class Stratocasters . I Bought a 1965 Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp . I'm an intermediate player , just playing alone . 🎸✨✨✨☮️🇺🇸
It really isn’t. Especially if you’re a traditional guy, they look like toys and non authentic to the great 50s-60s tele and strats. Unless it’s a Jaguar or any other fender offset where the matching headstock does work since it was used back in the day. It’s all a matter of taste and what you like.
Tried an ultra before, didn't like the radius because it kinda felt too flat, even in the first few frets. But I really fender would extend the ss frets to the lower end of spectrum as well. It possibly can't be that much more expensive, right?
The Ultra Luxe neck has an all new compound neck shape called “Augmented D”. It is different than the Ultra neck- it’s a complicated neck shape to make but very comfortable to play in all positions.
They look amazing. I much prefer a maple fingerboard on strats and teles. I don't need a floyd rose, but I think the noiseless pickups are great. Hard to find the right combo of components.
Greetings from Puerto Rico, I would like to know what pedal and amp you are using on this video. By the way, great guitars and of ocourse, great payers too. Thanks!!
A guitarist with more talent in his big toe than I could ever hope to have sits there and plays beautiful swells through a wet signal of reverb, chorus, and shimmer. But what does the guitar sound like?
These actually sound really nice. Not overly "Strat-y", but a sweeet tone in it's own right. The FR trem model... not so much. (Edit: Real unique playing style there dude. I like it!)
SECOND COMMENT Greetings from Puerto Rico, I would like to know what pedal and amp you are using on this video. By the way, great guitars and of ocourse, great payers too. Thanks!!
@@brokenpoolhall in some places I see the ultra has “hot noiseless” and the ultra luxe has “vintage noiseless” so..... not sure if that means they are different
@@mougabo For the SSS (both Ultra Luxe and last year's Ultra) they use Vintage Ultra Noiseless pickups. Hot Ultra Noiseless for mid and neck positions in the HSS versions plus "Double Tap" humbucker for the bridge. Same pickups as last year's Ultra and for the current Ultra Luxe.
I have this guitar and it’s the softest nicest feeling fingerboard and neck I have ever played next to My fender Elite Stratocaster I found my Luxe brand New on clearance for $1799 had to trade in three guitars.
Feedback from a Strat Lover: The available colors should be expanded to include more vintage finishes. Also, the painted headstocks unnecessarily gimmick up these lovely guitars. I’d have at least one if they looked like the strats that most of us lust over.

"traditional guitar guy" aka person who likes things that are worse
I loved the cunkier later model Deluxe models, but absolutely hated the normal Ultra series. How is the neck, somewhere in between?
I love to look at things that I can't afford
When you look at things you can barely afford it is different right... then you want it real bad. Now it is more of looking at the stuff and admiring it.
Most relatable comment I’ve seen
With all the things coming out like roasted necks and boards, the classic maple neck strat is still the best and admirable.

Allen Hinds is pure gold , nice move Fender
Allen Hinds, one of my favorite players of all time.
Allen Hinds & Fender ! ! ! !
I got one a few weeks ago
Blows every guitar I’ve ever had away, and I’ve had many guitars
Sound feel finish etc
Allen Hinds is so musical!
Amazing Allen Hinds, any guitar will definitely sound great in his hands
Ain't it the truth. Still, pretty nice guitars here.
He has that Allan Holdsworth vibe going on
Allen Hinds, Mason Stoops...y'all are pulling out the big guns and I love it.
Sound of this Ultra Lux is amazing .
Incredible playing Wow just Wow

Great playing, great guitars. Love my USA deluxe plus Strat.
Just here for Allen's playing. This popped up as an ad, but his playing was so compelling that I had to seek out the video.
That plasma red burst is incredible.
Excellent choix d'avoir pris Allen Hinds pour présenter cette série splendide 🤩.

What a tone from those pickups! I went to fender site to check up these guitars. Then I prefered the strat with the Rosewood scale instead the maple 💕

Is that neck available by itself without the headstock being painted? I'd buy that for sure!

Wow amazing guitars
Allen's playing is simply sublime. Guitars sound and look great. How about the two-tone sunburst with the bridge humbucker? (and no Floyd please)
Very nice playing. Great similar tone and feel to Eric Johnson.
Nice guitar with floyd. Wating a strato Joe Holmes model!
Very beautiful series, not to mention the playing, epic
Man I want that silver burst humbucker joint!!!! Beautiful man!!!!
(☞ ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)☞ yeah, that would be my choice.

Thanks
Wonderful tunes! ✨
I can't afford one I'm just here for Allen Hinds
Please reissue the Richie Sambora signature model….that was awesome…!!
Great guitars, but I don’t like the colors. I wished they had better colors on this models.
Now THAT was some tasteful playing! I could listen to him for days. Is he related to Rick?
I love they use polyurethane in their Ultra and Ultra lux . Polyurethane is the best .
Yeah. Thanks
I am a blind guitar player and there is a lot I would give to feel this guitar

Such a gorgeous guitar !! TBH, the only thing I dislike about this model is the colored headstock...
I like these painted headstocks, looks good to me
Your guys are busy🤗🤗all of them are beautiful
*Alder or Ash body? I was interesting to purchase one from certain site in EU, yet in the description says that body is ash ?*
Fender I will buy one of these if you make other color options available, we want a white one!
Great sounding Strat...might have to get one!!!
How is there not a non-floyd HSS Strat in this line? Seems like a big missed opportunity. And the finishes and fingerboard options are so limited.
I love the colored headstock
Beautiful, fantastic sounding instruments. Cheers.
Fender needs to stop making stuff I want
Right my wallet is screaming for mercy. None will be given.

SILVERBURST HELL YEAH
So if they don't have the board you want in stock will be another 8 month wait time?
For rosewood, probably.
These look great. But I've never understood; why is a colored headstock considered premium?
It really isn’t. Especially if you’re a traditional guy, they look like toys and non authentic to the great 50s-60s tele and strats. Unless it’s a Jaguar or any other fender offset where the matching headstock does work since it was used back in the day. It’s all a matter of taste and what you like.
I agree I much prefer the natural coloured head stocks.

One day this era will be ‘back in the day’ and someone will be saying something similar to this about the new line.
And will these Strats have a Treble Bleed circuit on them? That’s what I love the most about my Strat
I love that Floyd Rose is back to the American Series….!

The first spec. Stainless Steel frets, Fender finally made it to the 1990's.
I wonder if there exists a list of all the Stratocasters ever made? It has to be in the high hundreds.

So the floyd model is a Charvel with a traditional strat body.
I would prefer that the HSS came in the same burst colors as the SSS. Other than that, they are great choices and are fantastic guitars.
Does anyone know what song he is playing at 6:15 onwards?

I love the stainless steel frets but don't like the matching headstock... please give us a strat with stainless steel frets
Please Fender make an HSS version without the Floyd Rose, and add some more color options like the Texas Tea finish which is so beautiful!
I wish Fender rear mount that floyd rose nut for unmatched tuning stability in for years to come. Just like in the 90s.
