Have to say , being a traditional guitar guy, at first I wasnt sure.. but I came to like these guitars quite a bit..necks are awesome...and as for my playing....i improvise...so, you throw a lot of stuff out and hope things stick!! ha...thanks to all the guys at Fender...very cool people!!

D-shaped flat profile necks are my least favorite neck profiles, but if you say it’s great, then it’s probably worth trying one out.

I loved the cunkier later model Deluxe models, but absolutely hated the normal Ultra series. How is the neck, somewhere in between?

How is there not a non-floyd HSS Strat in this line? Seems like a big missed opportunity. And the finishes and fingerboard options are so limited.
I keep saying this, but I dont watch these videos for the gear per se; The artists fender brings along to demo their gear are just amazing (all of who ive never heard of before). In some cases I even come back to these vids once in a while to just listen to these amazing players. (and yeah, your marketing works; I now want all of Fender's pedals and the new strat, haha).

I am loving my American Pro 2, I couldn't think of a better player to show off a Fender. Allen Hinds is up there with the greatest for me, a fusion player with a foot still in the blues. Something deceptively accessible about his playing.
Allen Hinds, Mason Stoops...y'all are pulling out the big guns and I love it.

The next Trogoly video is gonna be a banger. American made Strat with a real Floyd Rose and matching headstock. 2021 is pretty sweet. My American Professional 2 in HSS is my baby. Roasted Pine body and Alnico 5 single coils. I never knew I would love a Pine body so much but it resonates insanely.

Sound of this Ultra Lux is amazing .
I picked up this pre-loved and it's fantastic. It took me a little time to tinker and get it just right, but since then, it's been amazing. It sounds beautiful, especially when I use the tremolo. The pick ups are versatile, too - they sound great no matter what position they're in. The neck is very comfortable, perfect for my style of playing. Out of the few guitars I've played, this one tops the list.
Oh man how the hell have I never thought of black guard sunburst with a black headstock. That looks so killer. Maple neck sunburst is one of my all time favorite looking guitars. I’m boring...
But imagine it with like a sick ass pick guard 🥵🥵🥵
What a tone from those pickups! I went to fender site to check up these guitars. Then I prefered the strat with the Rosewood scale instead the maple 💕
I think Fender has thousands of mint green pick guards in stock. My Tele came with mint and I immediately swapped it with a black one. Some websites still show a mint or aged white pick guard on this model.

Bought one of the first of these to hit Australia in 2021. For me, it’s the perfect Strat. I have the SSS version; the pickups are excellent and the build quality is faultless, but the neck is the star.
Is that neck available by itself without the headstock being painted? I'd buy that for sure!

I love they use polyurethane in their Ultra and Ultra lux . Polyurethane is the best .

These look great. But I've never understood; why is a colored headstock considered premium?
It really isn’t. Especially if you’re a traditional guy, they look like toys and non authentic to the great 50s-60s tele and strats. Unless it’s a Jaguar or any other fender offset where the matching headstock does work since it was used back in the day. It’s all a matter of taste and what you like.
I agree I much prefer the natural coloured head stocks.

A guitarist with more talent in his big toe than I could ever hope to have sits there and plays beautiful swells through a wet signal of reverb, chorus, and shimmer. But what does the guitar sound like?
Alder body is only on those with Floyd! SSS variants have Ash body, which have crappy sound coz of combination with Vintage Noiseless. You have had to put Hot Noiseless to all models and make HSS variants, with Alder. Now we still have no proper choice. And whos the idea was to invite this man to demo these? You stated these as modern guitars but the music to demo them is not correct.
and this black headstock is ugly as hell. It should be match to body finish.,
really, this man is holding super modern guitar, with stainless steel frets, floyd rose and just strokes the guitar...jeez.

I would prefer that the HSS came in the same burst colors as the SSS. Other than that, they are great choices and are fantastic guitars.

I have this guitar and it’s the softest nicest feeling fingerboard and neck I have ever played next to My fender Elite Stratocaster I found my Luxe brand New on clearance for $1799 had to trade in three guitars.

Please Fender make an HSS version without the Floyd Rose, and add some more color options like the Texas Tea finish which is so beautiful!
So the floyd model is a Charvel with a traditional strat body.
I love the stainless steel frets but don't like the matching headstock... please give us a strat with stainless steel frets

Tried an ultra before, didn't like the radius because it kinda felt too flat, even in the first few frets. But I really fender would extend the ss frets to the lower end of spectrum as well. It possibly can't be that much more expensive, right?
The Ultra Luxe neck has an all new compound neck shape called “Augmented D”. It is different than the Ultra neck- it’s a complicated neck shape to make but very comfortable to play in all positions.
No the neck shape is fine, I mean the radius of the fretboard.

They look amazing. I much prefer a maple fingerboard on strats and teles. I don't need a floyd rose, but I think the noiseless pickups are great. Hard to find the right combo of components.

I wish Fender rear mount that floyd rose nut for unmatched tuning stability in for years to come. Just like in the 90s.

The Pro II series is so good that it's hard to justify paying more for something that isn't really superior in any way.
I respectfully disagree, the tapered neck heel is the best upgrade they have ever done, playability on higher frets is 100%. You don't have to struggle up there.
Have you played a lux? I have played both and the lux is absolutely superior in all aspects. The lux I bought rivals the custom Suhr i paid nearly twice the $$$ for.

I own both - I prefer the neck on the Am Pro II (probably the best Strat neck on the market), but the Ultra Luxe is better in almost every other way. The extra contoured body feels super premium, the pickups are beautiful (although they struggle a bit more with higher gain than the Am Pro II), the heel contour is better, and the S1 switch is better.
That being said, both guitars are overpriced haha!
In the video, you say that its body wood is alder, but on the fender web site , it specified body wood is ash.
So I hava a question about " Its body wood is alder or ash ???"
