OMG! Yes... I have two guitars and have wanted to add a third for several years. Problem is when I almost decide on something everyone comes out with new models and I hesitate once again. Boy do I love that Strat Duh Luxe
Haha yep, 8 months ago I asked the guitar shop to call me when they had the Ultra Luxe in stock (apparently not easy to get even for the #1 fender dealer in my state), now I figure I might as well wait for the next release.
for anyone scrolling, I just bought the black american ultra luxe with the floyd, it is an incredible guitar that feels like a step above their other lines on the same level as custom shop, and are capable of anything, blues, jazz, death metal, you name it. obviously go and try one in person if you are able too, but if youre on the fence this is a instrument that radiates quality
Finally Fender putting something out that we've been begging for years. Hopefully the SS frets make there way through the entire American line as an option.
The only thing I could imagine that would make these better is some 24 fret action and maybe making is a 10-16 instead of a 10-14, but that latter half is more of a personal preference thing.
I would absolutely LOVE to see a real 24 fret *SSS* FENDER Stratocaster. A 24 fret SS Telecaster as well. Unfortunately, I don't see Fender EVER doing this. Just don't see it.
That's tough because I probably love the Brent Mason the most, but it's truly a real country machine. I would probably go for the Ultra, unless you were interested in the stainless steel frets of the Luxe. Those would be a nice addition for the tone of the rock/jazz stuff. But as for an incredible guitar that hits all the right criteria for me, I'd probably look at the Ultra! Can't go wrong with any, though.
The problem is the price tags. You can get all these features for a 1/5 of the price. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than a grand for a brand new Fender. But if I had a grand to spend, I'd buy a Charvel and get an even better deal.
you get what you pay for. if you go for a cheap/mid level $1000 guitar, that's what you'll get out of it. ain't nothing wrong with that. expensive guitars are not needed at all. i played on stage with a $200 guitar for 10 years. now i play a $5000 Gibson Les Paul Custom. it's worth every penny.
Beautiful guitars except 1 feature...the noiseless pickups always sound so weak to me. Put in some 59's or 65 gray bottom pick ups and it would be a no brainer must have. Just my opinion
I can't believe that anyone actually requested a painted headstock on a Strat or Tele. A surf green headstock? Really? If anything, that green headstock is a dealbreaker for a lot of potential buyers. I know it is for me. Otherwise, stainless steel frets should be a no-brainer on any modern guitar, as well as locking tuners. The only thing this one is missing at this pricepoint is a roasted neck.
These guitars need to have hot noiseless, not vintage. And HSS for Strats without Floyd. Coz now it's modern guitars with vintage sound, which is not what players want.
Ok so just to let you know, I tried your website and I think it SU...! It is horrible to use. Type in Telecaster Ultra and you get a run a round. It may be a great idea to fix it so people can find what they want. Just sayin
Is anyone bothered by the sound of steel frets? they have a sligtly different sound, i have a guitar with them, they are nice feeling but the sound is different, im not sure i like it. Its kind of a (dry) sound, for lack of way to explain.
I think it's a tad brighter but nothing that would make me ever want to go back to nickel frets. SS frets just last so dang long, I love it. Had my SS fretted guitar since 2019 and I play it alot, and there is basically no wear to the frets.
Curious why you say this? With the addition of stainless steel frets i feel like these are approaching Suhr quality. Unless your main gripe is the sound of the pickups which is still subjective, these are pretty spec’d out guitars.
Man, Fender keeps changing the product lineup faster than I can make up my mind which one to buy.
lol so true

They couldn't fit an ash tray on a strat/tele with cigarette holder, that would be silly...?
@@samblack5313 was there an announcement for a new release?
Plz make videos with Floyd Rose ultra luxe tele and strat

To me stainless steel frets is really essential. Will just swap the pickups
Finally Fender putting something out that we've been begging for years.

Not likely dude. Fender aren’t just going to leave money on the table. SS will remain on the Luxe model only as long as it’s a thing.
Wow, awesome playing! So much fun to listen! Makes me realize I need to practice a lot more ;-)
Ah Cooper.... The playing is just amazing man.
You tested them with great technique !!!
Nice guitars and Awesome playing!
Cooper Greenberg's new album "More Pleth" is out now wherever music is sold.
I'm buying! that guy is awesome!!!
Came to you guys because you sold me on the ultra tele. Great vid
I like the 2012 era American standard Strats
Would be nice to learn more about the difference between modern D and augmented D with regards to smaller hands.
Cooper, on that Tele....
💕🎵🎵🎵🎸🎸❤️❤️
Pretty awesome Weyes Blood t-shirt...
Nice informative vid guys....hope factory can keep up with demand.
Maybe need to add dvd with sale...!
These need more colors.
And Fender should expand the SS frets to more affordable models.
Ya'll need to give Cooper a tip jar. ya'll aren't paying him enough...he has holes in his jeans.
Man I’ve always wanted a tele
Go Cooper, Go!!!
The only thing I could imagine that would make these better is some 24 fret action and maybe making is a 10-16 instead of a 10-14, but that latter half is more of a personal preference thing.
Agreed, I wish 24 frets would be more common but doesn't stop me from buying Fender
I would absolutely LOVE to see a real 24 fret *SSS* FENDER Stratocaster.
A 24 fret SS Telecaster as well.
Unfortunately, I don't see Fender EVER doing this. Just don't see it.
Really unsure whether I should get this 2t sunburst ultra luxe tele or the regular ultra in texas tea
you guys have too much fun
Cooper - for someone who plays mainly Rock, Blues and Jazz, which of these three would you go with; the Ultra, Ultra-Luxe or Brent Mason Tele?
That's tough because I probably love the Brent Mason the most, but it's truly a real country machine. Please Fender make an HSS model without the floyd rose and give us a few more color options! My money is just sitting here waiting for that guitar...
Would you guys take a look into vola guitars.. 'vasti kjm j1'?
Too bad the HSS model is only available with a Floyd 😢
Are these available yet?
Yes! www.alamomusic.com/search.php?search_query=ultra+luxe
@@AlamoMusic Thanks so much! The look, the versatility, the sound, ugh. I need one.
Not sure what’s smoother (and I mean silky)…. Cooper’s hair, or that sweet chicken-pickin he laid out with the Tele!

how is the way for becomin endorser and make vids?
New tshirt design for you: Cash, grass, or ash. No one rides for free.
I would buy the Strat is you can get a lefty!
„Corona, California“, eh? Fitting, this year.
Corona was a nice name, once... (still a good beer!)
@@fredstevens799 As a German, I’m legally bound to disagree with your trailing statement! 😁🍻
@@Runoratsu LOL! well, Corona is closer to me (both the town and the beer) but point taken!
Guys.... I gotta have more plethora.
Would have looked so much nicer with the traditional headstock, but I don't need any more guitars, why am I here? 🥴
The same reason we’re all here 😃
Beautiful guitars except 1 feature...the noiseless pickups always sound so weak to me. Put in some 59's or 65 gray bottom pick ups and it would be a no brainer must have. Just my opinion
agree, this, modern guitars with not modern sound
❤️🎶🎵🎸🎶🎵🙏❤️😎
Nice guitars. Check your tuning, though.
Can the TELE with this sunburst color body feature with rosewood fretboard?
nope
Dang bro. Jesus loves you btw

Plethora- was that a 3 amigos reference!?!?
Stainless steel frets wear out the strings quicker.
Not necessarily. I play my stainless steel fretted guitar all the time since I got it in 2019, and I don't change strings very often.
Still i prefer the ultra pro max.
I’ll stick with the Ernie ball music man for that price
Stainless steel frets don't change the tone it's a myth they feel better and save you money that's what they do get over the vintage bullshit
I think it's a tad brighter but nothing that would make me ever want to go back to nickel frets. SS frets just last so dang long, I love it. Had my SS fretted guitar since 2019 and I play it alot, and there is basically no wear to the frets.
Its far away from a fender tone!! Strange tone!!!
Frets doesn't sound lol
Hate the headstock
Me too.
Looks ok with a dark fretboard as well, but if you have the light coloured fretboard, it looks trash.
Me three.
Looks like an old man shorts wearing black shoes.
natural looks best
These guitars are complete shit. Fender should refund anyones money that bought one of these tone les slabs of garbage. Don’t waste your money.
Explain yourself.

Like they say, opinions are like…
I just got one and love it.
