I am currently working as an Officer-Engineering at HPCL. I have just completed my BTech in Civil Engineering from IIT Patna. During my engineering, I have had a multitude of achievements both within and out of academics. I was my batch topper, pursued funded internships at premier institutes both in India and the US. I held core committee positions at the annual techno-cultural fest of IIT Patna and as a coordinator of the Association of Civil Engineers, we came up with a first of its kind event, Samnivesha, the annual technical fest of the civil engineering department at IIT Patna. On a personal note, I am a social enthusiast and had the experience of hosting various events. I love to read on human evolution, play badminton, travel and teach. No doubt we should congratulate the candidate for her selection.
But, the interviewer told from village background, not rich etc. Even though she hails from a village she studied in Hyderabad, secondly her mother is an advocate.
So, She is metro studied, educated background family.
So, she can be considered as a somewhat priviliged background.
By this I am not downgrading her success. She is very successful from Hyderabad city educational background and educational family background.
