Who is watching 2023? Can’t stop laughing 😂😂😂
Great piece of gold British comedy
Me. 👍
Me three ! X
@@MrSoul88man Me four!
2024!
Yeah I still watch it
One of my favourite English sitcoms .
"Arthur, wot's that sticking out of your trousers" 😂😂😂
Doubtful it would ever be anything that awful frump created..😂
sounds like you fancy Olive@@SeeYouEnTee666
Bring back the good times the 70s 👍
Yeh I woudnt mind going back too the seventies ❤
You do realize in the 70s you couldn't just put on a random TV show almost any time you wanted?
Absolutely classic comedy they certainly don't make comedy like this anymore brilliant
i do
Love 💕 these they remind me of happy times me and my Nan used to watch it together every week ❤😊 special memories attached to this showx😊❤
Innocent times,It doesn't seem to me that being more knowledgeable about things helps to make us more content.
"Butler what you going as a Christmas fairy" 😂😂😂😂😂 love watching these .it helps my depression ❤❤❤
Me too 😊
Me too
I’ve watched every episode again love it! God bless you all xx
even in the 90s when i was a kid my mum used to say * its like blooming blackpool tower in here *
I’m glad these are reposted nice and clear, the old ones were unwatchable and terrible quality. So thanks !
Love watching this still so funny 😂😂
Brilliant TV possibly the best sitcom ever made. Wonderful character acting and scripts.
Classic British Humour from a time when Political Correctness and Woke did not determine what we watched, laughed at and loved.😊❤
As funny as it is, I think that Dad's Army deserves that accolade as the best sitcom.
Love it! you can't beat this no matter how many times you watch it it still has that magic touch.
Whatcht it then had the dvds for many years best of times 😊
The time when we had no mobile phones, used cash, never heard of climate change. The time where you could tell a joke and people laughed instead of being woke etc.
Ah, supposedly there was a climate panic in the 70s - the world was supposed to be under a metre of ice by the turn of the century!! 🤣

Love how gammon use the word woke like they understand what it means
Good Days 😊
@@marblesred2289😂😂 exactly… people follow like sheep .. wonder if anyone will actually know what it means without looking it up.. of course theres woke people on here, .. but that doesnt mean we agree with what it stands for. I can’t stand “them”
14:21 What a lot of rot Arthur does talk.
Unfair pressure on Stan, after all Olive should have some kind of job!
It's not real 😂
You are missing the point. Arthur is secretly buying wigs so he can't give money, and Olive literally does nothing all day. The mother does it all - cooking, cleaning, etc.
Back when British people were British. Nowadays especially young people what to be American.
Just the other day I heard a couple of young guys calling it garbage instead of the British way rubbish.
Hate that
@@michellefalleur960 Britain now is getting more like the US anyway.
You just have to look at London. Getting more like New York with all the Americanize buildings.
@@joemcconnell2674 yes, I know, I can't stand it, everything seems so homogenised, no individuality any more, awful, dreadful, All is going down the pan
Can't stand the Americanisation of people today, gives me the 'ump.
Surely butler should have taken overtime as a conductor as he used to be one. Would have made a funny episode watching him as a conductor
Loved it good comedy. Nowt like It now we need it
Brilliant…👍💯
He is always been funny 😂
great show
Don’t crack the mirror 😂😂
Olive probably spent a good 50 %of the time eating 👍
And the other 50% thinking about eating
@@sparkythemagicpiano2867 🤣🤣
She was never ever fat it was just for laughs get your eyes tested
In a lot of episodes you see her putting the fork into her mouth with no food on it, its so strange but she did also loose a lot of weight at some points so i guess it was a personal thing for Anna Karen.😊
@@chrispaw1 interesting 🤔, never noticed that, but Anna certainly wasn't overweight, very healthy in my opinion and would of definitely got the Hampton 👍😊
Arthur was horrid but so funny 😂😊
17:14 I Hate You Butler Get That Bus Out
Olive smokeing at the kitchen table 😂
"When I came in this house I had a healthy set of hair
I want it back" 😂🤣😂😅
16:59 swearing lol , didnt think it happened in the 70s 😂
Hahaha I love this show! Takes me back to the 70’s. When life was more simple.
Stephen Merchant is so good as Blakey….
it's Stephen Lewis still good tho and may they all rip
@@raplegends24 google Stephen Merchant & you’ll see what I mean 😃
In what program was that please.havent seen it yet.
I 'ate you, Pilkington 😅
@@raplegends24always get him mixef up with Dereck Guyler who played Potter in Please Sir ❤❤
Thanks 😊
Love this show!!
They should have had Arthur's hair fly off when he was riding his Mo TOR bike.
A thin time , Olives's divorce, the injury and mum's fling are my favourite episodes. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Late again and Bus drivers stomach are mine..❤
Love it. No woke people on here 😂😂😂
After a hard days graft it's nice to watch these simpler times with a glass or two. ❤
1:51 - 2:02 💀
Got to love good jokes forget the political rubbish it’s just good fun
"No woke people on here". What a stupid remark. No wonder people are manipulated, when they fall for nonsensical ideas like this. Political correctness was what "woke" was called back in the day, but it hadn't really surfaced much at that time. There are different genres of humour, as in everything else. On the buses was simple farce, with all the 70s humour of chauvinism, sexism, racism and misogyny, unsophisticated, and undemanding.
Why are you judging it by today's standards, which have understandably changed in the last 50 years?
it was shocking 😲 when Stan accidentally smashed the bus 🚌 window 🪟 when he took on a cleaning job to help pay for the electricity 🔌 bill in the household.
Arghhhh that mother is one money potter. My parents were well heeled but if you didn’t pay your way, you didn’t eat. Olive never even washed a cup up. Stan should lie how much he earns
British comedy at its best ❤️🤍💙
Arthur! Arthur!
On the buses it's great comedy ❤❤😂🎉❤❤
Yeah 👍👍👍👍😹😹😹😹😹
His mum relys everything on stan 😭😭 🖤🖤
Love the old home they had wish I could have one of them and the buses double decker old times it was a funny show the inspector was fantastic very tall Stan was short jack was a women iser. Arthur was a moody bastard never treated he wife nice but any way just a great old show rip olive Arthur mum inspector stand all
Oilive is really so funny and like it when she were wase pregnant when she was eating pickled onions makem me laugh she is so funny ❤❤❤❤
Funny comedy, but Stan's mothe is always on about how much money she wants off him,I know she's an old age pensioner, but a lot of the time she only interested in the money she can get off him, great comedy though.
She’s greedy. Olive too, they only want Stans money. She could work so could Olive the lazy sod. She eats everything and never pays. When Stan wanted to leave home all they were worried about was not getting their hands on his wages.. smh
PS to be honest she needed a slap in the face demanding he gets overtime like that while Olive sitting there shovelling food down. She doesn’t even help around the house !
Yes I like it but it’s sometimes more annoying than funny, i felt sorry for Arthur, forced into marrying that frump by the mum lying. Jack was lovely. Him and Arthur made this show! All the ladies loved Jack 😂😂❤ .. sleep at peace Bob .. x😢❤
@@flight101I noticed that! And a woman of her gobbling capacity she would need the income of a New York attorney.
@@Kii-in5kiffs 😂😂😂😂 haaa thats funny
Butler get them buses out Arthur aw shut up
Yea, fxxk yeah
Albeit a series later, in Stan's Worst Day, he'd apparently been a conductor before becoming a driver 🤔
Olive went on to become aunt sal in eastenders
Unfortunately she died in a fire in real life 😥
She was in a fight scene with Barbara Windsor in St Trinians ❤❤
Carry on Camping
@@rosemariemcgowan6388 Interestingly that same fight scene led to the two women becoming very good friends shortly afterwards.
Those were the days when the country wasnt overrun with reg varneys!
All dead now. RIP.
I'd hate to live in thst House. I feel sorry for poor Arthur.
That was a funny 🤣 episode when Arthur bought those wigs nowdays men can have hair transplant if they got the money. 💰
Yes having to marry that mort ..
Note writers of this episode, the actors.
And ma was always conplaine bout hoset keep money bshe had a pension they should have split everything and olive should have gone to work instead of eating
Funny show like Mr Ed in the bus are U being served gorge and Mildred pettey cot junction high wat to heaven . little house on the pirirr
Arthur and Olive's must be one of the most miserable marriages in comedy. Well them and Peggy and Al. Mind you on the later at least Peggy seems happy.
Stan taunting Arthur about not getting a woman but that vile runt couldn’t pull the loo chain..Arthur had Olive, and that old battle ship of a mother needed a 👋😂.. and its nice to see something with only one Chalkie in… 😁
😅😅👌
on the bus stop 😔 and I will be there for the same time as the is
Greedy, money grabbing, screeching mother is so irritating. Comedy or not. I never like stans character but felt sorry he always had to get more money and never Arthur, and Olive cdve worked the lazy mort. Stans weird spying through key holes .. urgh.. makes me shudder. What if Arthur was undressed or something 😮
Oh yes that old sly battle axe
why does everyone shout so much in this series ???
Arthur must have laryngitis.. he never talks quietly 😂
I thought Stan was a conductor? Aswell
Cant believe Arthur didnt slap Stan The most annoying brother in law ever !!
Why does olive not work
Lazy, ree tar ded and fat
Jack got that Savile vibe 😂
Who said he’s a man 😆
The electric light company ? What about the power outlets ? As far as I know the power companies cut off all power if the bill is unpaid. They don't just cut off the lights.
They are not allowed to cut you off anymore, but what they will do, its been on the news, will force you into having a pre pay meter, then if you don't pay you cut yourself off.
It was referred to as the electric light company because when electric first came into domestic property it replaced gas lighting if fitted and it's only function for a while was to run the lights
@@stevenc5227years ago when I lived in the uk I was living in a house that seemed to gobble £1 coins like nothing.. they forgot to come and empty the meter but when they did I got over £400 back!!! Apparently the previous tenant had got a fridge, cooker etc and paid for ir by having their meter set high! i actually left it like it as it was a sure way to save and a nice reward every six month’s
Brilliant ! up yours woke’s
What year please
early 1970s.
Comedy or not, that mother 😡 demanding every penny..Olive shdve got off that fat backside and worked, so could the mother. 10:21 10:23
the humor is rather crass
Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view !"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam ."
Mrs Richards: "It's not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window ? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?..."
Mrs Richards: "Don't be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea!"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it's over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I'm not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa's not erupting at the moment ?"
