Unfortunately, I dated someone like Avery and they didn't take it well when I ended it. They became just as equally unhinged and devolved into an emotionally unstable temper tantrum because they were so used to getting their way by any means necessary and had never once, in their life, up to that point suffered tangible consequences for their actions. It was actually quite amusing and simultaneously horrifying to see an adult human throwing a tantrum that would have embarrassed a toddler.
