Nice work mate - very free-flowing flight. As Tim has said "you are an artist". Loved the seal in the video too. Wish the weather up my way was as nice as what you have down there. Looked like a beautiful morning.
Loved the low flips over the water and sand mate. Top spot. If you ever get back there stop at the carpark halfway down the hill, and go down the stairs, another beautiful place.
Always amazing and inspirational. Finally got my HT-FPV with 5.8 going recently. I have the QAV400 frame waiting to be built up (will be my first time building). Your flights motivate me and give me a goal!
Hi juz70 Just love our coast and I'm just about to get my first drone I hope its the right one and hope one day soon I will have mine up on youTube but they will never match your action pack clips they are still the best in my books for sure Thanks for all the clips cheers David
A seal? You got a seal? wow, seen horses, roos etc and plenty of birds but that's the first seal I've seen. Great catch! (oh, and some good flying as well)
Thanks Matt. Yeah, I was walking back to the car when I spotted the seal. I had one pack left, so I set up again and said hello to her. Gotta love FPV moments like that. Made my day =]
I AM A FAN ! Where do you find all these wonderful fly spots ? No time to meditate though ...hèhè. The seal was indeed a nice touch. Thanks for a very nice moment again ...Phil
Juz excellent video, you're a benchmark for me. But I must make a bounding and you have few beautiful scenery around you. For the rest you're an artist. Felicitaciones!!
Very nice, since you are so fearless in flying over water, have you tried seeing if you could see anything big swimming there ? The seal was cute, but he wasn't swimming, so we can't count him ;)
your best video yet! good job! Just a thought: Why don't you slow down your loopings in post production? I'd love to see the world upside down a little longer:) shouldn't be a problem with the fps of the gopro. I finally assembled my own quad. time to get skills.
had a shit day , came home saw you had a new vid called meditate and thought awesome just what i need . magic video and mate , an fpv quad seem to be a conduit for tranquillity . now i'm gunna meditate .
Ya can't mistake Australia, eh? Just read the comments to confirm and was almost certain you were here somewhere but didn't pick west oz. I'm in Sydney and I felt like I was in a mini jet fighter watching that. I was leaning and swooping all over the place (sitting on a stool in my garage - hehe). I'm picking up a Tcopter tomorrow and a quad next week. I built some frames and got a kid who advertised on gumtree to do all the electrics and tuning for me for $50 each bird. can't wait to start flying and filming. Many thanks. :)
I have a couple of off-the-shelf blade 350QX's and fatshark fpv. Now want to build (or preferably buy rtf) a quad like yours in Sydney. Any advice about how-to?
Are you using 1.3ghz for your setup? And have you upgraded the ariel on the Taranis or is it stock? Just about to purchase my first fpv setup.. deciding on 5.8 or 1.3 but want to fly a parks bush and hopefully old buildings so not sure 5.8 will cut it?
hello juz, very nice video can you tell me your video 1.2 ? and tx/rx antenna set up and radio setup please, are you in 1.2ghz video and uhf radio ? thank you
Learned a lot from watching you. You're truly an inspiration. Copied your back pack ground station last year and loving it. Been wanting to see the best way to hook up the quad on the back pack. How'd you do it? Great flying, as usual. You make my flying look like it's in slow motion. :) cheers.
Nicely done once again, Juz! Really in awe of your throttle control and foresight to fly those low passes. Question about your camera setup: When you're in FFF, where the QAV would be leaning a long way forward, you still can see the horizon, but you also have flight in hover (seal watching) and still get good horizon. How do you do this? Either filming in 920 and cropping, or gibmal on pitch axis? Whatever you're doing works very well!
Thanks Roger. My gopro is fixed to my frame pointing straight out. The trick is to use the momentum of the machine to keep its speed up without the need to contantly pitch forward. I can get the energy from a dive or even slight drops in altitude (like when I slide down the dunes etc). Sometimes a small burst of power with some agressive pitch can get me moving, then it will keep that speed if you are smooth on the sticks and keep just a little bit of forward pitch. Flying low, in ground effect can also make it easier to carry momentum without trying, kind of feels like a hovercraft. Hope this help.
Still a great FPV video all these years later!
Beauty. Skills. Serenity. Im in awe.
***** awe thanks, really nice.
fpv awesomeness!!!
i enjoy your sport fpv flying so much....great locations...goosebumps!!!

Which format is the most appropriate for exporting GoPro videos?

I have a couple of off-the-shelf blade 350QX's and fatshark fpv. Now want to build (or preferably buy rtf) a quad like yours in Sydney. Any advice about how-to?
Anyone know the track on this video?
I don't think its "Stay (feat. Jacqui Hunt)" by Paul Mac like it states in the descrition.
I was wondering when we'd see your next video. Do you mix yaw and roll a bit?
Truly impressive.
thanks Rod
Are you using 1.3ghz for your setup? And have you upgraded the ariel on the Taranis or is it stock? Just about to purchase my first fpv setup.. deciding on 5.8 or 1.3 but want to fly a parks bush and hopefully old buildings so not sure 5.8 will cut it?

Very nice. Would you like to tell all where this is?
Somewhere in southern Australia =]
looks so enjoyable
thanks Pamela. It is amazing fun to explore the environment like this =]
You've not done a QAV400 video in a while. Would love to see some more :-)
Amorgos yeah, your right. But I have just built a 6 inch prop, 4s monster and having so much fun with that. One day, one day =]
I love the miniquad videos everyone are making now, but keep loving the larger frames as well. Speed isn't everything ;-)
juz70 Thats what i did, blackout 330 with 6045 running on 4s.... Crazy thing!
